Cletus takes to the streets, his suit soaked in the blood of both friends and enemies and sadly in some cases both. 

"Today I come before you and for the first time in a long time, maybe even ever I am sad that I have killed. We lost a great man and leader in the form of the late godfather Diogenis, a man who I learned a lot of from and owe my life to. I never wanted to kill Diogenis or Ishmael they were both victims of whispers coming from underneath them.  There were many whispers and streams of information staying that people were being discussed and that some people in my city had to be removed at some point. Regardless of your opinions on the people under me I will never stand by and let those in my city be slaughtered due to past grudges and paranoia.  This was the same reason I had to act.  Diogenis and Ishmael would never stand aside while we extracted threats out of their own cities just like I wouldn't. One of the biggest reasons I loved and respected both Godfathers was also the reason I had to kill them. 

Am I happy about it?  Of course not.  As I said before this is the first time in my family's career that I can honestly say the decision was difficult. I thought we had something of an understanding with the fair men of Las Vegas and Los Angeles.  But, what can you say?  What's done is done. Hate me or love me, know that if you are a member of New York you will always be protected.  

The execution of this is what I like. Really nicely done. 

I don't agree with the execution being nicely done, truth be told. The first wave left many capable leaders alive to fight. Granted, they didn't do much to fight back - possibly due to slumber. How one can sleep through a massive gunfight, I'm not quite sure, but some definitely managed and that played a big role in the victory here.

Regardless of that, it didn't harm the attackers too much, and I say congratulations on a job well enough done CletusKasady. Painful being forced into action so shortly after finally taking your throne, but these things must be done.

Really poorly executed takedown and speech. Your reasoning is that you were afraid of underlings out to get someone, whom you've forwarded no proof of their existence, and couldn't imagine handling this in any other way. This feels a lot more like lazy speech writing than you had a minor threat and insufficient verbal finesse and creativity to handle this some other way. Speak the truth or put in more effort than this. A lazy post takedown speech is just as bad as no speech at all. There's more to being and staying on top than just having a big gun, and based solely on your first wave I have serious doubts you'll be in a position of power much longer if you don't shape up.

Sarah__Farron walks up to the gathered crowds still upset over the demise of their mother. She listens closely to the rubbish that was being said confused over the reasoning of this take down of Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

'I would like to state something here, not too long the old Godfather Chairmen of Las Vegas Kharon was wanting to take out NY because Cletus had a strong gun and also wanted to remove Bella as they were friends with Cletus. Diogenis refused to allow this to happen and so took the action to remove them before they did it. This means that Las Vegas had helped to protect NY and Bella, so why would Diogenis or my mother wish to then take out NY after they had recently protected it?. Therefore your reasoning for taking them out is total rubbish, so not only did you take out Las Vegas for nothing you also took out a friend -Bella'.

Sarah__Farron then turns around with tears in her eyes as her family was now retiring from this kind of life as the loss of her mother was too much to bare!.   

Olympia walked into the area just after CletusKasady had begun to speak, and she listened to him intently. Even after he was done, she kept her eyes locked on him, awaiting her chance to speak.

She cleared her throat quickly before saying, "I can honestly say that everything Cletus said is true. The Godfather Chairman of this fine city of New York did what he had to do to protect his people. You can say all you want that PhuturePremitive planned this and he's calling the shots but that's bullshit and all you salty people know it. I was told the reasoning for why this happened and I was able to know that this war was with good reason. Honestly, I would have done the same thing, no matter if I had friends in Vegas and Los Angeles or not. You guys can spread shit all you want but Cletus did the right thing."

After looking around at the gathered crowd of people, she made eye contact with Cletus and said, "Boss, I thank you for protecting your city, and I look forward to a lot more time spent working for you and with you! To New York! And to the Dead. May they find peace in the afterlife."

Sarah please thank the whole of the remaining Vegas for not giving you a protection shot lol.

Execution was poor? We lost 4 or 5 people (godbless there soul) , and managed to end all of remaining shooters before they did some serious damage. Thank you for the speech Cletus, they will complain no matter what you do.    

If history is going to repeat itself like it always does, Phutureprimitive is only going to wipe CletusKasady and whoever else he wants to when he is strong enough to do so.

Best move would be to wipe him and his cronies before they get the chance to do it to them. Will he listen? Of course not. Why? He has no backbone. This whole entire removal was no doubt pushed by Phuture himself to try and make it easier for himself to take power when the time is right for him.

Hasn't he done it numerous times before? Wasn't WiggleFanGurl4Lyfe removed by this mans same ancestors? And the ancestor of SpikeSpiegel too? Pine?

And you think he won't stab you in the back too CletusKasady? Good luck with that, you just opened the doors for your own removal in a months time, maybe two.

As I've told you and as I told the man that will soon replace you once your usefulness runs out, there was never any plan or talk about NY. I don't blame you for acting, you believed there was a threat to people under you and you acted but the info you acted on was false. The people that fed you these lies were playing you.

Diogenis, Ishmael, and Bella wanted to make things work with NY. We wanted to do things differently. It's why we didn't want to take down DT and CH when you wanted to and it's why we didn't take down NY when we knew there was a risk in keeping you around. We have no one to blame but ourselves for believing things could be done a different way; a better way.

I want to end this by saying there are no hard feelings on my end, you saw an opportunity to seize sole control and you did.

Oh how funny the tones change.  Just a few weeks ago when Disorder and his band of merry men were stomping the worlds guts out everyone was screaming "No one should be judged on their fathers past indiscretions!  That's so unfair!  Our children should have a fresh chance no matter what has occurred in the past!"  Now it seems it is perfectly fine to judge us based on what our fathers have done before us.  Oh the hypocrisy is so sweet I can taste it.  It is clear to me that no matter who is the king of the castle people will complain as my friend Termination has said.  Please take your two faced "whatever suits us now" bullshit and shut the fuck up.  If I wanted power I'd have stuck with Niflheim, helped them slaughter all those who opposed them, and carried on into the horizon.  I have no interest in running anything.  My fathers have done it and I have no want to repeat it.  

Truth be told when all the whispers came down the pipeline over the last few days I offered to retire.  I presented this option to everyone of power and influence within the New York structure.  "Oh you were just lying you would never step down or retire for the good of anyone else!".  Bullshit.  What would I do if Godfather Cletus did ask me to retire right there if it was a trap?  Wing a shot off of his bodyguards and die a miserable and dishonorable death?  I don't think so.  I was genuine in my offer to retire to save New York the hard decision of defending me or taking out Las Vegas and Los Angeles.  It was unanimously decided that we would stand together and fight those who had their strong opinions.

The truth is that we got wind people were talking shit about how I couldn't be allowed to gain traction and that they better be wary.  Over the course of a week it was delivered to me by multiple sources.  When those types of whisper reach my ears I start to worry about how long peace can last.  It is true the fair Bella_Swan stuck up for us.  But, how long could peace last on the word of one woman?  What were the odds she would be over ruled and New York would be killed?  At that point it becomes a simple equation my friends.  We either wait to see what happens with out death being the only outcome possible, or we make our own move to preserve ourselves.  The decision is pretty clear.

You keep mentioning these whispers but they're all lies, it's understandable that you moved first to protect your city but don't keep using bullshit excuses. That's been my one point from the beginning. You already killed them no need to come out and feed the public nothing but horseshit just because Cletus feels bad about doing it.

So you were given information that there were elements in LV/LA who were planning on removing (I assume) PhuturePrimitive at some point down the line because that information "was delivered" to the man himself, and by multiple sources too? Convenient.

These whispers were solid enough to convict and execute three Godfathers - despite there being no implication any leader of either city was involved, or even had any knowledge of this 'plot' - as well as every single unconscious member of the cities, yet not solid enough to approach the Godfathers in confidence to present the evidence, with a view to allowing them to do their job? Even though - as has been mentioned - Diogenis prevented NY from being attacked only a couple of weeks prior, and all the leaders of the two cities had displayed a willingness to craft a professional working relationship with the other cities?

Sounds legit.

HotIce stood around listening to her God Father Chairman speak about recent events that had gone down, and she listened as others spoke their thoughts on what CletusKasady had to say.  After a few moments she stepped up, to say a few things herself. 

"I must say I stand with Phutureprimitive here. It's amazing hearing during the time of Disorder saying that we shouldn't judge people on their ancestors actions, yet they are out here pointing the finger right at Phuture himself.  As well as standing here talking down to Cletus for taking a stand and not allowing people dictate to him who can or should live in his own city for actions of the ancestors.  You can't come out here and preach change, then condemn a man for trying to be that change."

"No matter your thoughts on the whispers; the words and info we were given was serious enough, that Phuture himself came to all the leaders of New York and offered to step down and even retire, just to ensure the safety of New York.  However, we all stood as a whole and did not want him to retire or step-down just because others were afraid of what his ancestors had done.  Phuture, just like every other person who lives and resides in New York, is one of us... and no matter their past, they are all one of ours.  And we will do what is necessary to defend our people."
