Take 2:

I may not see the end of this war, but I will damn sure go out swinging because Colin and Evangeline deserved more than they got. The last war I was honest with the backstage happenings, and I will be again this time... Not with what has happened, but what WILL happen.

When we left off, our hero Roman had brokered a truce with several cities that he believed in, apparently that was a bad move! New Orleans killed his beloved Colin and mostly tolerated Evangeline! So what was a man with balls the size of a bull's to do? Make a speech so everyone knows what they are about to lose. After Odin surrendered in the last war he bartered for the life of Diablos. You know who New Orleans did not ask to be kept alive? Paul_Vidi, Cruel and Eusebio. At no point were those gentlemen on the radar of importance, but here is Paul_Vidi turning on old Roman. Under the premise of getting his own city and being attacked by New Orleans 3 weeks later? More than likely.

This is not what I want people to see though... What I want them to see is that the cities that are being attacked have worked endlessly to try to make rank important again. I know some people would rather revert back to rank being shit, but I would never stand for that, nor would have Colin, nor would have Evangeline, and I hope if I don't make it through this war, TheDean will help that legacy along. He has been a good friend to me, and I hope that means after this is all over that would be the one part of our work he preserves.

This war is a continuation of the one last weekend lef by the immortal DonPardo... This is who the New Orleans folks are taking their cues from, so you will see that it is no wonder why they are on paranoia. This is who they learned from. Spoiler Alert: YIKES! (Gin is DonPardo's coffeeshop alias.)

Now I'm not saying Odin, Diablos, and Kylar are bad leaders, but I know I was probably on the verge with Colin, TheDean and Evangeline, of helping to be much more impactful of what we would achieve. How did we value rank? Let me take you on a stroll down memory lane...

Now, here is what I can say... I am bitter about this war which was largely sparked over paranoia I imagine, but not over my potential death... I am sad to see a man like Colin and a woman like Evangeline die. I've lived a long, long time, and while I don't know what New Orleans' contributions have been so far... I can say this is a war that didn't have to happen, and I believe we were on the verge of shaping this life for the better. I wish everyone the best if you don't see me back after this. It's been an honor to work with everyone that I have.

Colin was a great man. One I respected more than any other leader I have come across so far. I returned to these shores to work hard for him and I will do so until my dying day. If that is not in this war then I will go on and work even harder in his memory. He was a funny guy and always made working with him enjoyable. Unless it was war time I could never see him even kill a fly. His rules were fair and just. He treated you as an equal and always was beyond thankful for anything you did for the family. I remember getting a thanks just for donating 100k and for me that wasn't much of a tribute. 

Colin would of brought about great things and I remember him telling me how excited he was to finally do things the way he wanted. Then some power hungry men who have some hot guns decided to end that. The people who started this war have so far proven that all they know how to do is back stab and lie, but I suppose that is the mafia? Except here I thought the mafia was about family, honor, and loyalty. None of which I have seen from NO. I will go down shooting till my last breath.

I never really knew Evangeline, but I'm sure she was a great leader and woman.

I of course know of the blessings system you put in place and i will admit, not the biggest fan but as wek spoke about it he other night you know my personal feelings on the system, it can work if the effort is put in.

I was away for most of the weekend and come back to war. I have people asking who's side i am on. It is simple. Chicago is now my home and i will fight tooth and nail to defend it. It is a shame Paul_Vidi and Eusebio chose the path they did but each to their own.

My and King-Finneius' loyalty remains to Chicago.

Nice to see you out in the streets making your allegiance known, Cruel. I'm sure your family and others will appreciate knowing where you stand.

Hopefully Team Good Guy will prevail and life can go on. The above details from our Godfather Roman clearly shows the life that we could have and I firmly believe it would give us all a sense of importance in this things of ours if our rank was earned as it should be, rather than handed out willy nilly to anyone.
