We finally arrived in the windy city and I had the chance to meet some people there. They seemed like the people you don't want to mess with but I could tell that they had their hearts were good. I wondered around Chicago for a bit, it was more booming than Philly anyways. After multiple days I felt like home, I embraced the people and was thinking about opening up a business there. He is normally an easy type but I noticed that it was serious. It wasn't something bad or scary but it was serious. We're moving.
It seems like we have another drive ahead of us... He looked at me with a smirk, grabbing something from his inner pocket and tossed it to me. You drive this time. I am in no mood to drive that long again.
I looked over to my passenger noticing that he fell asleep.
So this is how it feels...... |

Victor was slouched in the backseat, frustrated that Falcone got the front. I mean it was his car, but still! Henk and Falcy were so serious on the drive. All Victor wanted to do was drink and party, but he had to wait until they arrived in Detroit. Laaaaaaaame. He looked out at the passing cars, beginning to let it sink in what was happening. They were really doing it. Victor was on his way to the Motor City with Many of his dear friends to plant operations, rebuild what was broken. "Hey.. Henk. How are you takin' the move. You nervous or anything?" Suddenly his wrists were itching. He took his jacket flask out and sipped from it. He's gotta start hiding these better. They're really cracking down on people who even carry small amounts of the stuff.

I stare onto the road focussed while driving as the voice from the back seat shocks me a little. You know how it is when you're driving for a while and it just happens. I speak while still focussed on the road. Me? Nervous? Nahh.... I just don't know what to expect, that's all. Luckily Detroit isn't that far from Chicago so I can always visit it when I want to. I look over for a bit seeing that Falcone is still fast asleep. I shake my head a little and continue focussing on the road. Hey Victor? Ever been to Detroit? Like I said, I don't really know what to expect and it doesn't make me nervous or anything it's just a little frightening. |

Victor laughs while gazing out the window for a long while. Driving is the fucking worst. Couldn't we have flown instead? Sure it sounds posh, but it's borring as fuuck. "Shit, yeah. I've been to Detroit a few times. Best place to buy cheap grain alcohol. It's a nice city. We're gonna have a blast here. Sure, it'll be dangerous, but that's the risk we take when we're looking to make a name for ourselves. You're right though. I'm gonna miss Chicago. We've got a lot of sweet ass memories there." Victor leaned forward, getting between Henk and Falcone. How the hell does he nap like that? |

We arrive in Detroit and we are having loads of fun. We settle in nicely and doing what we're supposed to do. And then out of the blue loud noises appear and have this shiver that something isn't going as planned. Once I arrive I see the dead body of the Godfather laying there completely filled with bullet holes. I couldn't do anything except for dropping on my knees waiting until the inevitable when I hear a loud car pull up.
Hop in!! We need to bail now!!
Without hesitation I jumped into the car and we pull off. Far away from Detroit....
What will happen now? |

I arrived back into Philly. The city where it all started. Sad thing is that I won't be here for long as the others are starting to come down on me. They found out I protected an old friend from certain death. I light up a cigarette and wait in the open. I can see the cars coming towards me filled with men. I don't know what do do and just look at them. This is the end and I am certain about it.
I look back to catch a glimpse of the old Flamingo sign. The person looks at me with a gun pressed against my temple.
I REGRET NOTHING! |
