| Jon's Day Off | Started by: simpleJon on Nov 08, '17 03:07 |

It was a cold day in Philadelphia. Jon is fairly new to Philly, so he decided to start his day a little earlier and travel around the city to familiarize himself with his new stomping grounds. It was more of a little vacation than anything. He's been hustling his ass off this past month, so he felt he deserved a day off from his daily hustle to relax and get his mind off some of the shit he had to do to get his money. Sometime a little after noon, Jon felt a rumble in his stomach. "I haven't eaten anything all day," he thought to himself. He remembered of a place he seen a couple of blocks back, a Cheese-steak restaurant. His mouth salivated as he thought of the smell it had when he passed by it earlier. When Jon got back to the block the Cheese-steak restaurant was on, his mouth started to water again, as the smell of deliciousness was a lot stronger than he remembered. Without any hesitation, Jon walked straight into the restaurant and to the cashier standing behind the counter. "I'll have an original cheese-steak, please." Jon was always polite to anyone he encountered. His mother always told him to treat others as he wanted to be treated, so he always treated everyone he encountered with respect. "That will be $2.00, sir." Jon reached into his back pocket to pull his money clip out. He noticed his wad of cash seemed a little smaller than he remembered. After giving the cashier the two dollars for his meal, he counted his money. He felt his blood surge as he counted $5000 short of what he had left the house with. This has happened to him more times than he could tolerate. He knows the way he earns his money isn't holy at all, but he's been through some shit to get his money. For someone to steal his hard earned money like that, is just straight shady. This made him livid. He swore to himself that if he ever catches someone stealing his money, they'd pay him back. One way of the other. |
