Recently, this world mourned the passing of a big personality.  Scorpion, who never actually got his button, became suicidal and passed on all his worldly belongings to his family before being shot and killed.  He felt that a more honourable death than suicide.  Who is Scorpion, I hear you say?  Well, let me enlighten you.

Scorpion’s bloodline contains a string of people knows as RJFuller.  As many of you know, RJFuller stood tall in several families across these eight cities, courting controversy wherever he went.  RJ’s bloodline first came to public prominence when he stabbed his boss in the back by reading his mail, resulting in Francis_Costello’s robbery and death.  RJFuller’s standing with the now defunct Cheesesteak mob grew tall, whilst others were shocked at his small-time breaching of Omerta.  RJFuller than shrank back into a smaller role within this world and nothing much was heard from him for some time..

Until recently when Richard_Kuklinski was running Las Vegas.  The wily RK spotted a little guy just off the boat and thought to himself ‘that guy could grow into a big mob boss one day’.  So RK sent over a representative and RJ joined the expanding LV empire.  To start with, RJ did well, he earned and his standing grew.  Soon he was allowed into the family bars, though only to have soft drinks, on a specially adapted stool.  RK was well known for his sense of humour, so one day, having poured RJ an especially large glass of Club Soda, asked him if he’d like to be the Big Guy in his own HQ.  RJ leapt off the stool and started speaking excitedly.  RK stooped over to hear him.  RJ explained he’d love to do that.  RK picked him back up and put him on his specially adapted stool and formulated a plan..  In a Kafkaesque plan, RJ was sent into one of RK’s Capo’s families to spy.  RJ’s bloodline has experience of this kind of treacherous sycophancy and relished the opportunity.  RK was shocked at what his little mole had to say.  The long and the short of this was..

RJ getting his own family!  In RJ’s own words “the power went to my head, I had too much too soon, like drinking five bottles of Stella”.  Quite.  RJ soon sat on his specially adapted HQ throne and went “mental”, threatening other LV ranking members, plotting a coup, fraternising with rogues.  RJ was rumbled and, shocked at his own disgustingly dishonourable behaviour, announced his intention to suicide.  He failed at this, in a very public manner, and was last seen in his specially adapted stool, drinking soft drinks and crying.  Some two bit hood from NY fired the fatal shot, or so I heard.

Perhaps because of his father’s terrible, awful, embarrassing, soiled, vile, disreputable, wanton and unintentionally funny bloodline, RJ’s only son was named Scorpion.  Scorpion has spoken to his father just prior to his death and passed on that RJ had in fact engineered his own death, in a vain attempt to discredit RK.  That RK was already, um, somewhat discredited makes RJ’s squalid death all the more bizarre.  Conspiracy theories have abounded since then, did he plan his own death by fraternising with a rogue, insulting other players and ultimately being shot – or did he, cool as a cucumber, do all these things with a bigger game plan at play..  The evidence suggests the former.  But RJ is truly a gigantic personality – few bigger characters.  Did his cunning match his size in this?

Although I am glad the streets has finally given a breath of activity, I do wish it was not another over exaggerated story of a bloodline from the great, great grandson of a man that seemed to exist back decades ago... Although I do enjoy the parts where you admit your father's well... as you implied, rather stupid behaviour.

Well firstly I would think his ego would match his size cunning, hardly. You actually (as you have stated) the son of a man that went crazy with power, and threw it all away? Cunning hardly, he had planned to suicide? And then failed to do so? Wait can you... Honestly... cunning? Please Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee could do what your father did, get drunk with power and well fuck it... 

I also consider conspiring and relishing in betrayal, spying, treacherous sycophancy a gigantic personality. Honestly, this speech in a way has actually tarnished your bloodline, talking of betrayal as it were something to be proud of. The only time I would think of betrayal is well, I would have to have nuts in a knot, my mother hostage and my wife on death row to actually betray anybody, but that is just me.

Also since you obviously have quite an extensive knowledge on your grandfather's achievements, since your father did 't achieve anything... Could you explain to me what this "BIG Game plan!" was? Maybe then I will hold your family in more respect then I do after this little speech. To be quite frank all you have said is, my father did not do anything... but!... BUT! My grandfather, yes my relic of a grandfather he was a mole! Oh yeah like a super spy, then he got his own shiny HQ, but as he sat there on his HQ e went crazy and made quite a dubious plan to kill himself! To help everyone! But.. Ugh. well he didn't do that so well...

Welcome to the debate, Prophet.  RJFuller was a somewhat easy to forget fellow, except to those that knew him.  To those that knew him, he was the dependent variable - he adapted to everything around him.  Yes, he betrayed those he was meant to be loyal to, yes he embarrassingly failed to suicide after announcing it, yes he let the power go to his head - but does this take anything away from a man who stood tall?  A man whose cunning and guile were as big as he?  I think RJFuller was vastly misunderestimated by those that were more powerful than him.

What I am saying is you have over glorified something that didn't leave as big as an impact as you make out. Yes, he may of been the most cunning man alive but he did't have the I don't know: Dexterity, strength, intelligence? Stealth, now it could of been anyone of them or all of em! Your father he had a shot at something great/disgusting (both are two sides of the same coin) but couldn't back it up.

Shotgun_Grice is merely drudging up non-issues from the past, of which nobody is particularly interested in (except you it appears), in an attempt to keep whatever miniscule unimportant piece of Cosa Nostra history he was involved with alive.

The real tragedy of this discussion and the others like it is that they give attention to people who shouldn't be talked about except in a joke. Even if this discussion had sarcastic intent its front page news since theres nothing proper to discuss. There's been more discussions/stories about complete failures of our way of life than there have been about the true legends of our society.

Maybe a former legend's actions speak for themselves and don't need repeating in these streets but I would much rather listen to stories of people who mattered instead of the insignificant people who are widely considered the joke of our world. I can only hope that someone who is properly acquainted with these histories through the diaries of their ancestors or whatever other means would put in the required effort to tell some stories from those times.
