The_Kid didn’t seem like a bad person, but he was pretty quiet in terms of dealing with other leaders. This was a primary complaint across the board that Detroit’s communication with outer cities was severely poor. A Godfather Chairman should be in regular contact with everyone, and this was not being done. There was no effort being made to work with us, and this could not be allowed to stand while the city grew bigger. You could say that this may be fixed over time, but there was a long enough precedent for us to tell that this would just end up with us having to tackle a bigger and stronger city at a later date. 

In addition, it should be said that we are trying to move forward from the past regime. This was not a main goal in this move, but it was considered. The main purpose of the move was based simply on an issue of trust, and it clearly wasn't there. I send my condolences to the families of the fallen, and roses to their widows."

Listening to the utter bullshit and wonky tonk it was clear that New York had ulterior motives from the start. First praising the Kid as reliable and trustworthy (even for a 10 year old) and a few days later.... "COMMUNICATION" is blamed as a reason for mass murder.
Manny's son couldn't believe his ears. Looking at a man with permanent red hands he didn't find it difficult to believe, heresy , conspiracy and murder went straight to the heart of this character called CletusKasady. yep send a person out to a city, to break them up so can pick em off bit by bit, is the usual tactic.   No surprise the population of our cities continues to drop and how we can't escape the idea of rebuilding constantly.

I fucking hate that attitude SickBoy. It's such a fucking cop out. Just because you can kill everyone, does that mean you should? Does killing everyone make you a good leader?

Come to think of it, what actually makes a good leader? It's certainly not how powerful their gun is. For me, "good" leadership is best displayed by how well a crop of leaders improve their district/city, and if you're at the top of the heap, you have the additional duty to manage the country as a whole. Razing the country to the ground, city by city, is not exactly sterling leadership, especially in a time of such unprecedented unemployment.

'I do because I can' is literally the most egregiously dickish reason for a removal, and it's happening more and more often because children with zero concept of management have snatched power, with no idea of what the direction they want to lead this country - at least no ideas that they're willing to divulge... although it appears the vile Disorder '60 day' model is the one being adopted by this crop.

Here we are a couple of weeks down the line following the take-down of LA, LV and a partial take-down of DT, yet we have no idea of the laws this group of leaders wish to enact? Fuck, we don't even know who is actually calling the shots! Is Cletus the one making the decisions? Does Varys chair the meetings? Has Olympia managed to keep her clothes on long enough to attend a CL meeting, or is her beaver still the one organising and leading these take-downs? I don't think anyone knows.

I think getting out of rebuild mode would be a great start but i guess a guy taking over a city and being head for about 6/7 days is to long not to organise a city head meeting.

Which so far Cliterous has beenm flexing his muscles and could have done it allready if he really wanted to meet a new leader. This stinks of the old Spike reasoning for a takedown havent heard from such and such there planning something.
