An old shabby looking  red bricked building that has seen better days would greet passerbys upon the streets of South Chicago's business district and looked as if had done so for decades. Above the  door leading in would be a simple sign that would say The Bookstore, which would be right in name as anyone could see in the windows countless shelves of  books for any sort of mind. There are those however that would say in hushed tone that more than books were sold within and that the kindly old Irish Immigrant who had recently purchased the shop was more than he appeared to be.

To the select few he was known as "The Forger"  and his business included documents ranging from passports to liqour licenses to marriage certificates and identifications even as far as new identities and the know how to make one disappear if one needed to.

An elderly gentleman tall and broad, dressed in simple slacks suspenders and a shirt that  would smell a bit of chicken with thick sideburns and beard once red now whiting is  turning the sign upon the door to open his glasses place back upon his face from the hanging position around his neck he goes back to his stool awaiting the day's customers.

Are you in need of a "book" today?

Santiago was late for a meeting and in a pretty busy mood. As his car finally went past the holdup it seems to be a book salesman selling his books on the side of the road.

Maybe he could be a newcomer Santiago thought.... let's be gentle....

Hey Mr Bookie, you are holding up the traffic sir. Please take your wares to the business district out on main street.

Santiago drove off to his meeting.
