Is anyone familiar with the game called Mafia in where there are several civilians/town, a cop, a doctor and several mafia. It's considered like a party game I guess but also a popular forum/message board game from the past. Sound familiar to anyone?

Yeah. We used to play it with a deck of cards to pick who was what in the game. I was deceptively good at it when I was a mafiosa. No one ever believed it was me... My sister got SOOOOO mad when I killed her one "night" while they slept which pointed the town to believe it was another town's person.

We were a good mafia. XD :P

Just for fun...IF anyone is willing to play please say so. I'll start with a small game of 7 people. Let's see if we can get enough. Thanks

There's a game on steam called town of salem that's like that with some extra roles to a bunch of us sometimes play it :) 

Oh yeah man there are like thousands of roles, it can get nuts. But if we have 7 i'll run a standard game of 2 mafia, 1 cop, 1 doctor and three townies.

Not sure how we'd do it on a message board, but I'm down to TRY it...

Am up for this, I remember ToS it was pretty neat. Like John said ^ Am willing to try make this work on like IRC or something.. 

I have breifly played tos and likes it I would like to give it a try if you still have room Bossman.

I used to play ToS, and Werewolves of Miller's Hollow. Again, very similar. Werewolves was done with a deck of cards. I'd be down to play though.

For those wondering, on a message board it's done where for example the day is 5 days and the night is 2 days and there will be a thread to discuss and ask questions.
