What Is Winter Festival 2017:  A player driven winter 'festival' featuring OoC Activities, RP Events, Contests, Games and more!  Because some of this announcement (and possibly those yet to come) are RP focused, we are placing the announcement thread here on the OoC board instead of on the Outside Board.

Who Can Participate:  The MR entire community is welcome to enjoy the RP Setting Backdrop happening in Chicago during the holidays and a wide variety of games/contests that will be open to all members of the site.  A few of the activities we are promoting will be specifically for the residents of Chicago alone due to the logistics of trying to run them for the entire site at large.

Mobsters & Molls of Chicago and all the Cities Beyond!

Let me be the first to welcome you to WINTER FESTIVAL 2017. 

At it's very heart, this event is being put on by the city of Chicago, but as we all do in the holiday season - we are opening our doors to our friends and neighbors in hopes that they will join us for some seasonal joy.

Several events have been planned by myself and Godfather Varys, but we hope to see many crews and individuals stepping up to contribute their own special spin on this event, making it something much more than what you see on this flyer alone. 

So - be sure to "WATCH" this thread and visit often to read about the events being put on by individuals and crews and to get updates on the prizes we're offering --because-- the prizes listed on the flyer are the MINIMUM of what will be offered to our winners and all prize packages are subject to change as donations are sent to us and cash rolls in from our earner contest!

Will you and your crew emerge from the blizzard with bragging rights until our spring festival? 
Will you walk away with pockets full of prizes?
How much exp will you gain during the event? 
And how will your stories be impacted by the suffering of humanity around you...
both from the elements and the economic pressures brought on by a brutal Great Depression? 
How will your operations be impacted by an oppressive hand of the FBN driven harder upon us by the likes of
Tyler Durden's Corrupt Agents... and, what impact will Durden's raids on our city have upon you and your holdings.

We can't wait to find out the answers to these and many more questions during Winter Festival 2017 - so... without further adieu, in the words of those who originate in Godfather Varys' neck of the woods, Winter Is Here!
