Don Capazzo had come looking for James-Sullivan, there were some miscommunication in the past and the Don came to New York to smooth things over. It was one of his associates on a drug induced tirade making some problems over in the business district area of New York, specifically in the establishment owned by James. Capazzo asked a worker for his boss James and waited patiently as he made his way to the front.

James came out and greeted Don Capazzo, he would've picked up on the fact that Don Capazzo came here in peace due to the fact he did not have Adz or any other bodyguards with him. James suggested they go into the office to talk more privately and Don Capazzo agreed. Once they were in the office James offered a drink. Capazzo nodded and smiled.

"Congac on the rocks Jimmy."

He was given the drink and took a sip.

"Ahhh...."

It was nice and smooth just the way Don Capazzo liked it. He then unbuttoned his suit jacket and took a seat. He took one more sip then began.

"Jimmy first of all as I mentioned several times before I apologize about the miscommunication a few days ago, rest assured the problem was handled. But I don't really want to drudge up old news here. I've come to make you an offer and talk about new news, new deals and new beginnings."

Capazzo paused and took another sip of his Cognac.

"You see I along with LouisDelRossi Wrench and Finnigan have a Auto Shop and dealership in South Side. We...let's say...specialize in 'car pickups' Wrench then gives them a little make over and once they are ready we put them on our show room floor and have them sold."

Capazzo smiled.

"I know you too run your own auto operation here in New York. What I am suggesting is I know you're a car guy. What I would like to do is have you provide me a list of let's say 5-10 cars. Any cars you want and I will deliver them to your doorsteps in a week or so. This is a offer I am making to you to make up for what happened last week...AND, before you tell me its okay, I know it is Jimmy, I know... I know it is but please allow me to do this for you. You provide me with a list and I will get you the cars."

Capazzo raised his index finger indicating there was something else.

"One more thing, I think this could turn into a potentially lucrative deal for you boys here in New York and our boys in Chicago. But before we even go into all that, please...allow me to do this for you, no money, no terms, no strings attached. Plain and simple no bullshit here. What do you say Jimmy?"

Capazzo extended his drink to James waiting for a glass bump.
 

Very pleased with the offer, I bump my glass against Capazzo's.

"Ill drink to that!." I grab a sheet of paper to make out a list. Before I begin to write I ask don Capazzo a question.

"You know don Capazzo I really respect the fact that you came all this way to clear up the misunderstanding, says a lot about your character. Please forgive me but I must ask...how was the misunderstanding...handled for your associate who did the shooting?."

I took a drink and readied the pen in my hand, while awaiting don Capazzo's response. 

Capazzo laughed and clinked glasses with James-Sullivan.

"Salud!"

James then posed a question about that day in New York Business Districts, Capazzo listened and then answered.

"Well to be quite honest, I rather not discuss that however I can tell you the situation was handled and you nor anyone else will ever have to worry about that happening again. Sometimes drugs can make you do some stupid shit, you know Jimmy? That's why I prefer to have my Cognac, have my cigar, play some poker and this life....THIS LIFE is my drug."

Capazzo smiled.

"So tell me, what type of cars are you looking for?"

I made the list while listening closely to don Capazzo. I chuckled a bit, as I agreed with everything he had said. I handed him the list and let him look it over.

While he looked over the list I spoke up. "To be honest don Cappazo if you could get 5 of those I would be grateful. All top of the line, sure moneymakers!. But what you said earlier...it was just that, a misunderstanding. And I am not going to let a misunderstanding get in the way of a good opportunity. I want to work with you and Chicago, plenty of money to go around for all of us."

I watched as don Capazzo seemed to take a liking to some of the automobiles.
