I left my brothel and walk around the building to the parking lot. I go to my parking spot and I make sure to slowly get into my car. I make sure to slowly insert the keys into the ignition making sure my bomb blows up. As my time living in this life I have learned to be cautious. Most of the time the person closest to you will be called upon to take you out. Trust is something that does not come easy in this line of work and this time I am on the other side of the bullet. My cousin Bruno Ferrantino is a associate of the Capazzo crime syndicate and he is too wild for himself to be made.
Thoughts and concerns fly in my head as i drive down the highway to the bad side of Chicago. My cousin lives in a small apartment complex who always gets shot up by the local drug dealers. I find a spot to park and being to walk up to Bruno's room. I put my revolver back into my pocket and hopefully I do not have to use it. I walk up the stairs and begin too knock on his door. A minute goes by and no answer. I knock even louder and finally Bruno answers. He brings me in and he is wearing a red robe. He has residue of cocaine on his nose and lip. I look over too my right to see a topless women who looks Italian. She is also taking a line and she looks like she is having a good time. I bring Bruno to the back and I give him a talk.
"Bruno you need to calm down man. You have been causing too much heat for the family and I have been asked to calm you down. They also told me to put you down if you do not listen to me here".
His eyes remain wide open as I finish my small speech. He tells me "I get the point, I will calm down you do not need to take me out. I get your point." I smile and give me a hug. I whisper him in the ear and say "I know you do not disappoint you because this time I will come in heavy. Don't make me do it". I leave the room and then head down the stairs. I get back inside my car and drive away. I smoke my cigar as I turn right on the street. I head back to HQ and make my way to the kitchen. I make myself a ham sandwich, with lettuce and tomato. I sit down on my couch and put my plate on the table infront of me. I get up to the radio turn it on and sit back down on the sofa. I move closer to the table and take a bite out of my sandwich. My favorite song comes on and I begin to tap my foot to the beat of the song. |
