Broken-Glass-Santina stood before her mirror in her bathroom, examining herself. She had donned her signature color, red, for this special occasion. Her satin gown went all the way to the floor, a train of material draping behind her. The hem had long slits in the material, exposing her long, tanned legs. Her heels and lipstick matched. She was putting in her pearl earrings, matching the long strings of pearls that hung down as far as her waist. Satisfied at the way the pearls looked among her silky dark hair, she began to slip on black silk gloves up past her elbow, one then the other. With her gloved hands, she slid them down her body to smooth out her gown. One of her men appeared at the door. “They’re beginning to arrive, ma’am,” he said in a deep voice. “Gracias, please let them know to help themselves,” she replied. He turned and headed out of the room. With a final look at herself, Santina followed him. She walked out of her bedroom door to the hall, then towards the stairs. She gently placed her hands on the railing and looked over as the first members of the family arrived. She was ecstatic at hosting everyone in her home for the first time. She had overseen the preparations, making sure that all the finest spirits and hors d'oeuvres would be available in excess throughout the entirety of the evening. She had hired waiters—easily silenced civilians, if necessary—to make sure that her guests had to want for naught all night. They all looked sharp and uniform in their crisp white jackets with black bowties and black slacks. They were like ghosts of men, silently carrying their trays of various fare for the guests to simply reach out for, if they so chose. Santina smiled as she watched, satisfied, all her preparations come into smooth fruition. Turning on a heel, she made her way to the stairs and began her descent into the growing crowd. Faces turned up to look upon her, and Santina smiled even wider. As she reached the bottom of the stairs, Santina could admit that for the first time in a long time that she had butterflies in her stomach. She could kill a man without thinking, but she was overwhelmed with emotion at being welcomed into this family. She wanted to treat her family as well as they had treated her. Taking a steadying breath, Santina headed to the closest guest and offered a hand, ready to mingle with her family. |

Broken-Glass-Santina spotted Legoman as he walked through the front door. He looks as nervous as I feel, she thought to herself. She approached him, a natural smile spreading across her face. Offering a hand for a firm handshake, she leaned close to him so that she could be heard over the small band in the sitting room, just to their right. "Bienvenidos, Legoman! I'm so glad you could make it. Please help yourself to anything you see here. The waiters have some delicious food to offer as well as champagne, and there is an open bar in the sitting room, across from the band." She was close enough that her shoulder and hip bumped against his when she spoke. With a hand, she brushed her thick hair from one shoulder, allowing it to be bare. Her smile widened as she looked at him, then she turned to look around the room while staying close to Legoman. |

Santina looked around, pleased that she could make Legoman feel more comfortable. The crowd was small, but it was still early. As a waiter walked by with a tray of champagne, she wordlessly reached out and grabbed one of the flutes of bubbly. She walked into the sitting room to enjoy the band. It was a small group of players with a mix of a stand-up bass, small set of drums, saxiphone, and one player on Santina's baby grand piano she kept in her sitting room. They were currently playing some smooth, low-tempo jazz and Santina enjoyed it; though, it did make Santina yearn for a small mariachi group belting out "Alcolba Azul." She took another small sip of her champagne and walked back towards the foyer, intent on being available to welcome her next guest. |

Gordon wasn't used to getting large invites, but he took up on the offer to attempt to make relations with other people. He had a taxi drive him to the home of Broken-Glass-Santina.
He opened the door and walked out. Feeling interested, he walked into the house and noticed it was much larger than he ever anticipated or thought. He noticed multiple people inside, one he knew himself as Legoman.
He found a table and sat down. |

Santina watched as Gordon took his seat at one of the tables. She walked over to him, her champagne in hand. She smiled brightly at him, excited to be able to welcome another member of the family. Pulling the chair out across from him, she took a seat and set her champagne flute on the white table cloth. Motioning to one of her men standing among the shadows, he quickly stepped to her side and produced a cigarette. Placing it between her red lips, he pulled a lighter from his coat pocket and put the flame to the tip. Santina reached up to steady the cigarette as she took a deep breath. She nodded her thanks to him as she blew out a plume and he disappeared back to the shadows. Holding the cigarette between her fingers, she turned her attention back to Gordon. "I'm so glad to see that another member of our family was able to make it to my little gathering. Please make yourself comfortable and feel free to get a drink," she took another drag of her cigarette with her final word. With the other hand, she reached across the table and briefly laid it across Gordon's. "Let me know if there's anything I can acquire for you," she added. She pulled back, although she did not leave the table. Instead, she mused at the sitting room and the band, the smile still on her face. |

Rick late as always approached to doors to the home of Santina. "I hope I have not missed too much" he said to himself. Entering the home he saw the party still in full flow and let out a sigh or relief while making his way to the nearest chair for a seat. |

Gordon felt a large welcoming feeling after Broken-Glass-Santina took the time for a welcome that wasn't brief. He laid back in the chair as a waiter came over.
"Would you like anything to drink?" He asked.
Gordon sat up and thought for a moment, and decided to have some red wine as an order. The waiter noted it down, and a few minutes later came out with the wine. As the waiter left, Gordon stood up and decided to look around the large house, taking a sip. |

Rain could be seen sliding down the window next to where Legoman was enjoying his appletini. In the corner away from the crowd he glanced at the few he came to call family. Beautiful sounds of soft music was being played throughout the room that brought a relaxing mood. A gathering that was only just beginning as the night was still young. Before Legoman could signal for another drink a man in a tuxedo walked by and handed him another drink. For such convience, Legoman pulls out a stack of cash and slides the man a crisp $20 Bill. The man holds his hand out to stop him before saying. "That is not necessary sir, Broken-Glass-Santina has taken care of everything. If you need anything else just wave and someone will get to you right away." As the man walks off, Legoman takes a sip of his freshly made drink.
The bottles of spirits could be heard rattling from the thunder outside, but this was in no way stopping the fun. Drinks were being served and food was being sent out. The steam from a juicy t-bone steak could be seen drifting off a plate that one of the waiters was carrying. Red potatoes diced into little cubes with a side of baked homeade macaroni that came close to how grandma use to make. The freshly cooked meal turned the head of Gordon as he saw the waiter place the plate down in front of Rick. A moment went by and you could almost taste the food from the expressions Rick was showing. He grabbed a napkin to wipe off his mouth and just set in disbelief wondering when was the last time he ate anything so good that came close to this meal. He signals the waiter over for another drink before he starts to finish up his food. Gordon walks to the table Rick is sitting at and pulls up a chair. Before the waiter could walk off he asked for the exact same meal and another glass of red wine. A few moments later the waiter comes back with Gordon request. All you could see was happiness when Gordon took his first bite. As he sat and ate with Rick, the two of them just talked as more quest started to arrive.
The rain slowly started to pour down as the lights started to flicker. Broken-Glass-Santina spoke a few words in an attempt to calm the guest hoping that this nasty weather would soon go away. A flash of light could be seen coming from the entrance of the gathering. Assuminption of lightening that's been going on everyone stayed seated except Broken-Glass-Santina. As she made her way to the front door one of her bodyguards followed closely. She pulls out a switchblade as her bodyguard goes to open the door. The drunk Storm could be seen entering as she takes off her trench coat and hangs it up on a rack to the left of the entrance. Greeted by Broken-Glass-Santina, they exchange hugs as Storm starts to glance over the room. Thinking she overlooked her trustee, she asked, "Has MoonDog not arrived yet?" With a clueless look Broken-Glass-Santina responds, "Not yet." Knowing that MoonDog was not too far behind her she walks over to the bar to order drinks. |

Gordon had absolutely no idea how delicious the food was, especially the steak. He never expected anything as such, and a wave of content entered him with each bite.
With Rick across from him, he swallowed and asked Rick if anything interesting was going on, before diving back into the meal. |

Sipping on her near empty drink as she sees her family enjoying themselves. The storm has yet to settle and the music is blending in with the thunder. It's loud outside and she can only hope that MoonDog is safe. Looking around she wonders where Godmother HotIce and her trusted hands FrankPastorelli and Navegante are at as well. She turns to the bartender and asks for 3 shots of the strongest stuff behind the bar. Pulling out a bottle with no label, the bartender places 3 small glasses in front of Storm. As the bartender fills each glass to the top he said, "Ma'am, this is the strongest hooch i have to offer you. Please take your time dri." Before he could finish speaking Storm was placing her last shot down as she passed her hands over her lips. As she set and waited she started to realize that Sarah was nowhere to be found as well. Knowing that there was plenty time left of this gathering she decided to just relax and speak with a few of her friends. |

Rick finishing off his food, looked around for a second and took in everything that was around him. He was not use to this lifestyle the delicious food, the expensive décor, he was born on the streets. Rick stood up slightly drunk and extended his arm in the air with drink in hand and shouts "TO FRIENDS". After the outburst Rick takes refuge at the bar where he orders a round of drinks for everyone at the party. |

Looking at his watch, Jon sees that it's a quarter past seven. He glances at his reflection one last time, before grabbing his black overcoat off of the rack. Jon heads downstairs to meet his driver Percy. "Where to, boss?" Percy asks in a monotone voice. "Head over to the Santina Estates, Purse. Broken-Glass-Santina is having a get together at her place." Jon tells his driver. As they pull up to the estates, Jon takes the invitation out of his coat pocket to make sure they're at the right address. Catching his drivers eye in the rearview mirror, Jon pats his driver on the shoulder. "Hey, Purse. It's gonna be a late night for me, why don't you go ahead and take the rest of the night off. I'll call a Taxi for a ride home." "Sure thing, boss. Catch ya later." "Take it easy, brother," Jon says as he shuts the car door. Taking a deep breath, Jon walks up the stairs to the front door and nods at the guard watching the door before he hands him the invitation. “Good evening, Mr. simple. Glad to see you could make it, Ms. Santina is very excited to have all of her guests here. Go right in, sir." |

Seeing Rick giving a short speech she giggles a bit inside. Not from the amount of words that was given, but you could clearly see that he had quite the assumption of alcohol that night. Maybe he was sneaking multiple hooch shots that caught up with him. None the less he looked to be enjoying himself and this was the purpose of the gathering.
As the bartender started to mix the round of drinks Rick ordered, a man could be seen walking in the entrance. Attire was formal, but this man was wearing anything except that. Removing his black jacket that was soaked from the rain outside, he placed it on the rack where Storm placed hers earlier. His boots were heavy to the step as he made his way over to the bar where Rick, Broken-Glass-Santina and Storm was already seated at. Very quiet he spoke to a few and drifted into the crowd that was their. Storm thought to stop him so he didn't feel alone, but she understood that -Assassin- found comfort in blending into his surroundings. Even without much communication, he came to this party and that was good enough for everyone else.
The bartender placed the round of drinks on the bar as he signaled for the waiter to come over. 3 drinks was removed from the tray for the guest seated at the bar. The waiter started to pass the rest of the drinks out to the remaining guest. The music was still playing beautiful sounds that could be heard throughout the whole house. Everyone was talking about their day and what fond memories they shared together when another flash of lights was seen at the entrance. As usual, Broken-Glass-Santina made her way to the entrance with one of her bodyguards prior to opening the door. |

The door opened to Broken-Glass-Santina's beautiful home, revealing Sarah, dressed in a long pink gown, bordered in white, simple yet elegant. Sarah took a moment, just inside the door to gaze around the room. She had not been to anything quite like this, and had bought a dress she hoped was fitting for the occasion. She was fashionably late, due to the events earlier that day, as HotIce had taken her place as GodMother Chairman of Philly. She was happy to see so many from the district having a good time, and getting to know one another better. She grabbed a glass of wine from a nearby waiter, looking crisp and dashing in his neatly pressed uniform. She smiled her thanks, then made her way further into the room to mingle. |

Howling could be heard from outside followed by a big bang from a muffler. Looking out the window, you could see a Beverly Hillbillies type truck pull up, a hubcap falling off onto the drive way. Moondog looked at his raccoon/possum hybrid sidekick, Huckleberry and his brother/cousin Billy Joe JimBob, straightening his blue jean bow tie. "C'mon, boys! Look sharp! This is my seen-yor-rita's house! I gotta keep in her good graces or no more fa-jitas for Moondog." Spitting in his hand, he combed it through Huckleberry's fur stylishly, tying a mini blue jean bow tie on him as well. Looking past Huck at Billy Joe JimBob, who was combing his amazing, prize winning mullet, he slapped him on the back. "Alright, cousin. Yur ma says it's about time for you to find a real lady, not one of those down the creek floosies that you have taken a liking to. Billy Joe JimBob, grab them crates of moonshine out the back. LET'S GET IT, BOYS!" Hopping out of the truck with Huck on his shoulder, he threw the keys to the opened mouth valet. "Here, friend. Take good care of Ethel...one 'coon tail or deer antler out of place and Imma be comin' for you." Throwing open the door, he walked in to find the party in full swing. Moondog had always been known to make an entrance, but it was usually followed by a big exit as well. He took his hat off as he looked around the fancy room, trying to spot a few familiar faces as he sucked on the few front teeth he had left. He spotted Gordon, tearing into a steak, Rick, drinking himself silly at the bar, and a purdy lady in a pink dress, who could only be Sarah. Moondog was sure he had spotted legoman and simpleJon around too. Turning around to say something to Billy Joe Jimbob, he was nowhere to be found. Looking around, he spotted him at the bar, talking to a scantily dressed woman who had a bit of a mustache. He shook his head, thinking to himself, "that boy will never learn". He picked up the crates, setting Huck on a cushioned chair with his baby bottle full of moonshine. Looking around, he spotted Storm, whistling at her. "Hey, Stormy! I'm comin' for you soon! Get a beer for me!" Finally, he had spotted his lady wearing that tight red dress that he liked, glowing from across the way. Broken-Glass-Santina always lit up the room. Smiling, he made his way over to her, taking her hand and kissing it. "Well, look at you, you red hot vision. You're the purdiest lady this side of the Mississippi. I brought you a present." He sat the crate down on the table, taking a mason jar out and handing it to her. "I made this 'specially for you. This here is Flan flavored moonshine. I talked to the little feller down at the Spanish market and he said that is a 'deli-cassy of your people. Oh! It's about time for you to meet someone!" Moondog gave a big, half-toothed smile towards his little Latin buttercup. He stopped, looking around for Godmother HotIce, who sadly, was nowhere to be found. He leaned his head back, giving a "YEEYEE" shout over to Huck, who came stumbling over. Pulling an old, dirty pad and pencil out of overall pocket, he scribbled a note out and tore off the sheet, rolling it up tight. He kneeled down, tying the note to Huck's bow tie. "Okay, buddy, I need you to scurry over to HotIce and take her this note. Be fast like lightening. There will be something in it for you!" He winked as he saw Huck speed out of the house, through one of the waiters legs, making him drop the tray of champagne all over the floor. "DAMMIT HUCK, EVERYTIME, YOU VERMIT!" He turned to the waiter nearest him, handing him the other large crate and sliding some cash as well. "Here, brother. Can you pass out this moonshine to these lovely party people? Much appreciated, friend." Moondog turned to the party, roaring loudly over the music. "HEY FELLERS, MOONSHINE FUR EVERYBODY! HERE'S TO THE BEST DAMN DISTRICT IN ALL OF PHILLY!" |

After losing count on the amount of drinks she had, Storm decided to partake in some of this moonshine that those crazy hillbillies brought to the party. Removing the lid from the mason jar you could tell that this was the strongest hooch you ever been around. She always knew of a place in West Virginia that mixed some of the best hooch throughout the whole country. This whisky was unlike no other and to come across it was such a very rare task. Storm grabbed a small cup from the bar where she was seated and poured a few ounces of hooch into it. Asking the bartender for a match, she strikes it and sets flame in the small cup. A blue flame could be seen burning and that's when Storm knew, this will be the best hooch she will ever taste. MoonDog was trying to figure out why Storm put a flame to this hooch and walk to the bar. When he made it to her he grabbed that burning hooch and drunk every bit of it. " Now that's how you drink some hooch sweet lady. Hot, cold, bugs, on fire, heck it can be frozen solid, but if there's a way we gone get it donneeeeee. Here, let me pour you another one and we can taste this hooch togggeeeettthhhhhheeeerrr. MoonDog grabs the mason jar and pours some more hooch in the cup he just drank from. Pouring to the top of the cup he slides it to Storm. Oh so you like fire pretty ladyyy? As he takes a match from behind his ear and strikes it to the bottom of his boot. Bringing flame to both cups of the hooch they both raised their cup and quickly tossed it back.
Clearing her throat as she realized this was the strongest hooch she ever tasted she started to hear a faint thunder. Realizing that the storm was starting to calm down she looked behind her to find out that Rick was passed out cold. Being drunk already she started to giggle a bit. She started tapping Rick on the shoulder until he woke up as she quickly looked away so not get caught. As he went to lay his head back down Storm went to do the exact same thing, but just couldn't control her laughter. She stood up with a bit of wobble to her step she walked away from the bar giggling inside. Rick could be seen looking in circles trying to figure out what was going on before dosing off again. Sounds of snoring could be heard again as Broken-Glass-Santina waved to the band to turn the music up a bit more.
Walking towards Sarah, Storm grabs simpleJon and pulls him with her. Stumbling while walking simpleJon helps Storm make her way to Sarah. I don't know how i missed you earlier Jon, but i didn't see you at all. Let's go speak with Sarah who is looking all sexily stunning tonight. The two of them pull up a chair and begin conversing over their evening. Storm waves over to a waiter, "Hey Come on Skippy, my friends are kinda thirsty. Bring whatever you have ready, im sure that will be fine." The waiter brings over a few mason jars that MoonDog brought to the party along with 3 cups. -Assassin- could be seen coming from a dark corner as he pulls up a chair by Storm. Excuse me waiter, you think you can bring me a cup as well? As they all sit and talk, the subject of who the drunkest person at this party came up. Looking around, Storm excuses herself to the restroom. |

Broken-Glass-Santina was swelling with pride at having so many family members under one roof and having a wonderful time. She was delighted at how the evening was developing, and she knew there was so much more to come. She was tickled at Moondog's gift. It truly was thoughtful. She had immediately taken the jar to the bartender so that he may pour her some of this...what had he called it? ah, yes...moonshine in a glass for Santina to sip on. It burned like no tequila Santina had ever tasted, but it did remind her of Mexico with the creamy, sugary undertones of a perfectly done flan; it was all vanilla and caramel over her tongue, and it instantly warmed her cheeks. Feeling giddy, Santina reached over to scratch Huckleberry on the belly; he purred with delight at her soft hands. Santina giggled at his response. Suddenly, the band started to pick up tempo. Santina threw back the remainder of her beverage, gathered the hem of her skirt, and began to dance, migrating to the center of the room with each twirl and twist of her hips. Bringing her hands up together in a gloved-clap, she continued to dance, rocking her hips back and forth, head down, her arms flowing this way and that. Santina let the electricity of the evening's excitement and the moonshine take over. |
