I had finally returned home to NY. Now in December, it was getting colder as if it was even fucking possible. Though Chicago was no better, all you could do was take shelter and drink. After my fight landed I took a cab to my auto shop, check in to see if everything was still intact. big mistake that was!. Inside the shop was three unwanted guests, one of which was Eddie Cirone!. I had introduced his face to a bar top about a week prior. The other two I didn't know, I really didn't have a chance to react. Before I knew it I was on the ground getting pummeled. Punched, kicked, spit on, I got the full treatment. At some point I must have lost consciousness, because when I woke up I was alone in the shop, bleeding quite well from my nose and mouth. I sat up and realized that Eddie made two mistakes. He let e see his face, and he didn't kill me!. After gathering myself, I stood up and walked over to the sink. I cleaned myself up as best I could. Despite the satiation I chuckled for a moment as the thought of Freddie_Lou came to mind. If she was still here she would probably beat me worse for losing conciseness. I remember one night she had joked with me about not taking a punch well. On my way out the memories went away as my landlord walked in and asked for his rent. "Jesus Paul, you go around collecting rent at 8pm now?!". He just laughed it off and asked me what happened. "nothing Paul!, I tripped, no big deal...here's ya money!." He insisted I call a doctor and told me my face looked terrible. "You a fucking doctor now Paul?!, I'm fine!". As he followed me to the door I slammed it in his face, leaving him on the inside of the shop. As the door slammed I heard him reply "Nice talking with you Jimmy." He sounded sarcastic, but who could blame him?. I headed for my car and made my way down the street, using the nearest phone I came across. I was so irate I had forgotten I had a phone at the shop. But fuck it I didn't want to see Paul again. I dialed Olympia, informing her off the situation. She told me to head down to 142nd street where she would have an associate waiting for me. Wasting no time I picked up the associate and began driving around, giving him instructions as we searched the streets of NY. 1 hour later, Sebastian's pub, Bronx NY...10:04pm I had finally spotted Eddie's car. Fucking bastard was always drinking so I knew it was a waiting game at this point. 11:17pm Eddie stumbles outside, along with his two friends. I turn to the associate with me and give him a nod, as he nods back at me. We slowly exit the vehicle and approach theirs. The sound of laughter filled the air as they all got in the car, three doors slammed as we both approached the car from both sides. I was at the drivers side, as the associate went around the front of the car to the passenger side. Laughter quickly became replaced with the sound of gunfire as we both unloaded into the car. I walked back to my car as the associate grabbed a gas can and began dumping it all over the car. I lit a smoke, as the associate joined me in the car. I asked him "What was your name again?." To which he replied "Giorgio". As I looked to my left I seen Eddie still squirming in the drivers seat. "SON OF A BITCH!" I yelled before pulling up next to Eddie's car. He turned his head, locking eyes with me through his broken window. I exhaled smoke out my window, and watched as it disappeared into the cold night. Grabbing my smoke and holding it between my thumb and index finger, I reply to Eddie, "Here!, have a smoke you FUCK!". I toss the smoke, as it flies into the window and sets Eddie's car a blaze. Several civilians from the bar carefully watching, slightly slouched and some with their hands over there mouth. All of them looked on as Eddie screamed while burning. I peeled off while I heard one civilian shout "CALL AN AMBULANCE!". I heard sirens draw closer to the car as I punched it out of there. I then dropped off the associate in the same place I picked him up. I then drove home to keep my head down, looking forward to seeing this in the paper.
