Underground Shots

The top story of the week was the shots fired by a underground group of hitmen who wanted to create some havoc and they killed off Varys, the Godfather of Chicago, Earl leader in New York and East Side Taco's a leader in Philly. Reports have come in they went after LuckyLucy as well but missed and she as you can see survived the night. 

The cities are still recovering from this unsuspected loss of life and leadership. Many high ranking mafioso's of each city are in the works of getting replacements for the men lost in this. 

Random Bodyguard Shooting

A man on November 29, has shoot and killed bodyguards of random mafiosos around the city. It does not seem to be much of a worry at the moment but it could be in the future. We have reports that he is still on the loose so be on the lookout we have a armed man or women who is out for blood!

New Management

A new leader has come to Vegas after the approval of Damnation when he was right hand of him for a while since he has become leader. Shadow talked to Damnation and he had this to say about his man " Im proud of him, and will be a great leader." Things are looking great for the kid in the future! We all are looking for great things from this new management!

World Fair Opens in Chicago

A city fair in Chicago has been opened by the city leaders. Open to the public, there is a lot of fun activities for kids and there families. Have some great food, popcorn, chocolate deep fried donut, deep dried oreos and corn dogs just to name a few. A rollercoaster is also set up in the fair and it goes 60 miles per hour in a few seconds! Also has two loopy loops for the thrills of almost dying! Kissing booth! 

A bunch of fun stuff is at the fair so come down during the weekend and get a ticket for only two dollars per person! Always a great time!

FBI Cracks Down on the "Mob"

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is starting to crack down on organized crime. With the recent killings of a high ranking member, a Capo of a criminal family in Chicago was killed in a drive by during a week long war between two diffrent capo's in the same family. The whole war has caused ten deaths in total from both sides. So after the bloodshed ended the FBU went to work trying to jail both capo's involved and some of there soldiers. They succeeded in arresting and jailing both capo's and a few soldiers to add onto that. The first capo Johnathon 'Machine Gun' Crowner is going away for ten years for plotting murders, bribery and extortion. The other capo Dario 'Numbers' Lo Scalzo is going away for fifteen years for plotting murders, arson and robbery. It is a big blow to organized crime today.

The Chicago Soup Kitchen

A soup kitchen has been set up in Chicago and wants to help out the people in the city who can not help themselves. Homeless who do not anywhere to go, people struggling with alcohol and drug addiction and many other reasons of being homeless. People can come from all around the city to help out the people here. You can do this by serving them food and other reasons to help them out.

Criminal Charges Comics

A ex criminal has started his own line of comics called Criminal Charges. It teachers kids in a fun loveling matter about his experiences on the street and how if you rat on someone you might get some stitches! This comic has outraged the media and parents around the country. But it is still a top seller when kids stash them in there backpacks and sneak them into there rooms to read. 

It follows a Shady figure that you get to know as The Shadow Man. You follow him in his life in crime and he teaches the kids life lessons that there parents could never teach them.

Ratty the Crook Comics

Ratty the Crook is a comic created by a team of mastermind writers in the comic world. Many of the writers, have taken part in Detective Comics comics including many Batman related comics. The premise is falling a rat that goes by Ratty in the streets and he is a terrible guy causing places, mugging people in alleye and banging hookers on the weekends. It's suited more for teenagers and adult comics the creators have said.

Help Wanted

Here in Mafia Times we  want to make this newspaper as great as it can be. It has a lot of potential and I am hoping a lot of you want a weekly newspaper as I have wanted one for years now as a player. I have seen a few pop up but they never went over one issue before. It's becoming harder to do most of this newspaper by myself and I need some like minded writers who want to help me out. 

I was thinking of having one writer per section and having at least one writer from each city in the game. This means we can at least get one or two businesses for each city per issue. This also means each writer can work on there own section and we can have more detail/ articles to write about in whole.

Dog ducks his shoulder against the cold. After hours of hustling through the streets, he's wired but exhausted. The thought of his warm fireplace at home had been beckoning him for several stops.

In the fading light, Dog stops near a paperboy on the corner. His bodyguard hands the boy some money, and Dog takes the paper in his mouth. "This will be a nice way to unwind by the fire," he thinks as he continues with his companion towards home.
