This is excellent news. In fact, myself and a couple business contacts of mine are prepared to offer a generous financial contribution to help fund your paper, somewhere in the seven-figure range. Of course we would expect a return on our investment, such as a minimum number of issues before all funds were transferred. I'm thinking a 10 issue minimum would be fair, considering the sizable donation you would be receiving. But we are reasonable and would consider a counter-offer. You are in a unique position here with your newspaper. Potentially, you could generate more revenue prior to releasing your first edition than the Gwarble Barble generated throughout its entire run. Something to think about. But don't think on it too long. Time is money.

I believe that Sweeney means he agrees to it but there will need to be a certain set of regulations of such to be worked out before doing so.

Sweeney, I understand your concern and think that is respectable, honorable, and wise of you to feel that way. Of course we could set up some stipulations in advance if that would put your mind at ease. Would probably put the minds of the investors at ease as well.

Perhaps an initial installment of money in advance, followed by the rest of it after a pre-determined number of issues? I am thinking 10 issues minimum, however this can be negotiated.

I'm thinking a 10-15% portion of the money up front to get you started, followed by the rest once Mob News has met their quota of issues. That way if "something happens" as you put it, my investors would not feel they lost anything significant. As far as any money sent up front that would be lost, well, that is a risk in investing in any start-up venture, and one that myself and my partners are willing to take
