| Putting up with Rogue Activity | Started by: Fast-Finger-Freddy on Dec 10, '17 17:46 |

FFF Steps onto the soap box near his corner of employment. Dear Ladies and Gentleman : This I know is a hard subject to discuss But in my opinion the first and best way is not to react to the street threads that they produce. To in short no since in Fanning the flames. Secondly : We have always had rogues here and we forever will have rogues. The answer is to have a good relationship with the cities when it comes to rogue activity. I see this over and over and that is a good thing. In my few days here I would like to say Rogues Suck. They only have one agenda and that is "Their own" they have no real family and if they think they do then they themselves are blinded by they own ambition. To cause havoc is all rogue is about. Some Rogues are just better at it than others. A Rogue is a Rogue. A person with no family and no one they can trust. Freddy steps down from the box and wanders through the small crowd down his favorite alleyway. |

I think this as good a place as any to address a feeling I've been having on the matter lately: |

Good point Dog It was a mistake on my part as the definition as Rogue for sure. But it is pitiful those that call themselves such have not amounted to anything in the process also LOL |

Katy was on her way to the florist, a coffee in hand when she bumped into FrankieFerrantino. They had been strangers moments before, but a lot can happen over spilled caffeine. After apologies (thankfully the ground took most of the coffee) and introductions Katy asked Frankie if he would like to join her to her destination. The two chatted briefly about the weather until they saw a small crowd gather around a man ahead of them. Of course they both joined the crowd and listened to the speaker. She looked up at Frankie, who insisted she address him as such and not Mr. Ferrantino, and asked if she knew who the man speaking was. "Freddy, but known on the streets as Fast-Finger-Freddy." Katy was about to ask a question, but Frankie stopped her before she could. "You don't even want to know the story behind the Fast Finger part." Katy closed her gaping mouth and listened to Freddy continue to address the crowd. After the man finished, she excused herself from Frankie's side and added her two cents to the street debate. Putting up with rogue activity sounds like we just do it because we have no choice. Sure, rogues are part of our world, but addresses them like they are some neucence we have no control over is only fueling their fire. If a man has a roach problem in his apartment he's going to do everything in his pour to exterminate the shelled bugs instead of rolling over and doing nothing about it. Mr. Freddy, you said it well, that a good relationship with other cities will help control the rogues from doing as much damage as they would like. However, I disagree that a rogue's only agenda is their own. This is very true for some rogues, but not all. A few rogues have people behind them, supporting them, fueling their fire. Viewing a rogue as a simple selfish creature is only blinding yourself. |

Sarah just happened to be within earshot as Freddy said his piece. She waited in silence as he made his point, then stepped forward slightly.
"Apologies, but from my current perspective, are you not doing exactly what you're advising everyone not to do? Is this not a reaction and further fanning of the proverbial flames? I'm not saying that it is not a intriguing topic; I merely feel it is a bit hypocritical." She paused a moment to carefully word what she would say next, so it would not be misinterpreted. "I do not condone rogue activity, in any way, shape, or form, but, that being said, some have been horrible, and some have been impressive, for lack of a better word. Obviously no one likes to see their family's, Crew Leaders, or loved ones taken out by rogues, but one can appreciate the time and effort and planning that have gone into some of them over the history of this thing of ours. They will not be going away any time soon. We do, as you have stated, have to come together as a whole to deal with them when they appear." Sarah stepped back to listen as the crowd slowly gathered. |

I can assure you most people set up soley for the gun notch it gives you . A rogue is someone who kills without auth. Regardless if they are crew leader or someone who has dropped from the crew . From the pov you give , I can drop my crew kill someone , join back and would not be considered a rogue. Where there is Yin there is Yang, I understand as a community we dislike rogues, and there is no full proof way to eliminate them beforehand without crossing lines. But the sooner we brand together to stop them when they do happen to start killing people, the sooner we can go on and continue our building of the community. I woke up to a rogue with no bodyguards killing ppl for the last 6 hours while I slept. How he got so many shots off with no bgs and all the community online at the time after him is beyond me. I see alot of ppl complain about rogues , these same ppl don't bother to help kill them. Becsuse you shoot at him ONCE does not mean you are helping. I am not trying to point fingers at anyone, but let's not kid ourselves and act like the entire community helps out when there is a rogue, that's not true. Most people grab pros and sit offline. [Cowards \○/]. A rogue is responsible for his actions towards the community, but in Fair return we as a community are responsible for our own reaction to him. If only half of us are trying to put an end to him what are the other half doing? Keep in mind if you do not train in the ways of the iron cannon this is not for you.
Ps. Excuse the grammer and terrible spelling. |

Ah the topic of rouges, this is a tricky one. On the one hand your have rouges who pop up out of no where and kill random people for the sheer purpose of brining chaos. But in reality are the people they kill really random. I’m sure they have a list of people they want dead and start at the top. Hell I have a list of people I wouldn’t mind killing myself, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to go out and do it. Though I don’t have the ambition to drop from my family and kill those that I want dead, but I want them dead for petty reasons. Being stupid, being annoying or even not letting something that happened go. But on the rouges side of things, what has to happen that these people have decided that the others need to die? Sure they can be seen as rouges, or as crew leaders taking their place before their time. Maybe 5ose they target they see as rouges and we are just doing things wrong. There must be something wrong with the current system if there are so many of these warriors popping up. Maybe it is time for a change to the system? Whether they are rouges or not people will continue to do what they think is right and it is all just a point of view. Unfortunately if people do not share the same point of view then you are wrong. Well there generally isn’t a wrong or right answer just a belief, and whether you follow those beliefs and take action is up to you |
