The day was gray and snowy with very low temperatures, but none of that would ruin the day because, after all, it was Christmas day. Brooklyn residents had woken up early to start the Christmas festivities. This year the major families decided to throw a community Christmas Party because the big godfather Cletus had died a few days before and everyone wanted to support and continue the business he had started.

Nefer was finishing wearing her red boots with a matching Christmas dress. It was kind of tacky, but it would fit with the moment in the season. Passing through the room, she noticed that there were a lot of gifts all donated by the other districts and even cities who decided to support the cause. Picking up some presents in her arms, she called the boys to help take her go to the front building where supper was being set up and there was a huge Christmas tree with some toys underneath already. Placing the presents there, she turned around in time to notice Insomnia and RomanReigns entering the room dressed as Santa's elves and Spiral was just behind in a reindeer costume.

Everyone around us started laughing and decided to call the children to sit closer to the fireplace where a lady began to tell stories, that way starting the festivities.

The past few days had been painfully depressing for Insomnia with the loss of his friend and Godfather CletusKasady. With Christmas being just around the corner it made it that much harder on him to be cheerful this holiday.

All of a sudden the phone rings. Insomnia slowly reaches out, yawning before answering to hear Nefer asking if he was still going to attend to the festivities tonight.  "Please tell me you didn't forget.." she retorted before hanging up.

Insomnia cracks a smile remembering the towns yearly tradition of coming together in celebration of friends and family. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes he jumps out of his chair, walking towards the closet he pulls out a suit specially prepared for the occasion. Getting dressed he knocks on RomanReigns door "Hurry the hell up were going to be late!" the door slowly cracks open revealing a six foot tall elf dressed in a green costume that was beginning to tear at the seams. "Well, well don't you look pretty. All set?" Insomnia chuckles a bit to himself while leading the way.

The two arrive exiting a taxi cab and begin to head towards the celebratory Christmas tree that was already lit. Insomnia quickly notices Nefer outside in the freezing cold, he was surprised by the dress for how cold it was but shrugged it off as he approached her.

"Did we make it in time?" he asks wondering if the gifts had been handed out already. "I didn't get dressed up as an elf for nothing!" Insomnia slyly grins before noticing the presents still on the table outside. 

"At least your not a freaking reindeer.." Everyone turns around bursting into laughter seeing Spiral dressed up in a reindeer costume.

"Now that were all here let's get started shall we?" Nefer waves everyone over for storytelling and the group carries various gifts towards the fire where children were patiently sitting and waiting.

Nefer was talking with some ladies when she noticed a few of her friends who had just arrived for the Christmas festival, they were all dressed up and so she decided to interrupt her conversation to go welcome them to the festival. 

"You guys look really cute," she teased as she admired the small group and added, "I could not wish for better friends than you all, and you're all bringing a lot of joy to this event with your dresses." 

Spiral approached while Nefer finished thanking her friends and handed her a small wrapped present from a well-known jewelry store in town. Nefer looked curiously at the package and began unwrapping it, to her surprise inside was a delicate bracelet with small pendants that looked like small snowflakes.

"What a lovely present love," she exclaimed as Spiral informed her that his personal gift would come later and that the bracelet had been the idea of Insomnia as a way from everyone to thank her for the idea of the festival.

"Oh thank you all. We really were in need of an event that involves the community, nothing too glamorous, just something to celebrate the holidays and our dearly missed Godfather."  Nefer said after grabbing the boys by the arm and pulling them closer to the other guests.

Insomnia continued with a dejected expression which was understandable with Cletus being like a father to him for all of those years, but she knew that only time would be able to make that loss more bearable.
