The Year in Review; Part One Started by: ShaneMac on Dec 27, '17 09:47
It would be churlish to start this review of the past year without discussing Disorder and his regime.  This is the most significant story of the past year.

The Disorder Regime (DR) will go down in the history of this thing of ours as the best organised and most ruthless enterprise to ever come into existence.  The totality of our society was recast in the image created by Disorder.

Whatever one might feel about the morality of the actions of the DR, one simply cannot help but be filled with admiration for the determination, managerial skill and charisma of Disorder for accomplishing what he did.

This writer does not disagree with the actions of City Hall and, likewise, does not support the actions of the DR.  However, in my role here as a historian, I feel that I am simply stating facts; Disorder had power unrivalled in any era in living memory.

No leader inspired as much fear or as much respect.

As is generally agreed, the cornerstone of Disorder’s power was his analytical skills and ruthless nature.  He maintained meticulous records of anyone who could be a threat and then ordered the purging of these people before they could do him damage.

“The Purges” were incredibly controversial.  And deadly effective.

The purges would not have been possible were it not for the network of spies and informers feeding information back to the Disorder Regime Upper Structure.

The year started with the Kurgan regime, don't forget that.
