| GAME CHANGE: Detroit is now a hostile city. | Started by: Squishy on Dec 29, '17 18:19 |

In 6 hours, Detroit being left unattended too long and without any direction, will be fully consumed by very hostile NPCs. These NPCs will be unlike previous ones, these *will* kill your bgs. In the beginning it may just be 20-30-40-50 HP damage, but every day they will increase until such time they are able to drop multiple BGs at a time.

So, if DT remains empty for, say, 5 months, there'll be NPCs in DT for 5 months, no matter how many we kill? |

Yes, there will be a never ending supply of NPCs in Detroit. You won't be able to kill them faster than they are born, bred, trained, and put to war. Detroit will not be a place you will fly to get +1s, you will lose waaay to much in BGs to justify it. It would be infinite cheaper to earn your gun in other ways. |

Sorry for being the n00b who has never seen this happen before. :) Let's say I'm crazy enough to take a crew to DT and start up there... does that mean (at least for a while) anyone with me will have their BGs shot at non-stop and it may be wiser (crazy though it is to say this outloud) to take a crew with NO BGs??? How about crew forts? Will we need to worry about those getting shot at by npcs too? |

They only hunt you while you are in DT. So if you are not in detroit, you are out of their reach. The sooner DT has a crew, the less time they get to get better and more aggressive and the less time you have to stay out of the city in safety. |

What happens if it takes, let's say, a week for someone to set up in Detroit? Wouldn't it be useless at that point to set up a crew, because you'd lose most of your BGs before they turn into kittens? Or would they turn weak quickly after the setting up? |

If it takes 7 days for someone to set up there, it will take 7 days to reduce down to how they were on day 1. |

| Is this essentially free training for those with no BGs? So I can sit in DT and shoot all day long. If I actually had a working gun that us? Seems kinda silly and maybe DT should just be closed if so. If I'm correct in this I'd say it's just a nice loophole to get out of purchasing credits for durd spawns. | |

Yes, you could train there, but I think you will find these are not low ranking easy NPCs. |

| Is the goal to get people spread out? If so I feel the best way to do that since growing the user base seems to have peaked some time ago and those new folks that come in replace old ones that are leaving pretty evenly why don't we just close the empties and or make the capacity of families smaller. Keeping real currency flowing I'd feel is a priority to you that would outweigh spreading the user base across the cities which could be done in an easier manner. Just an idea. | |

With all these closing cities and districts its becoming easier to find ppl. Why should I roll stealth when there are only 3 or 4 places I can actullay have my account go to. Imagine fighting a war where there are more capped guns in one side then there are districts in the game. Empty cities give oppturnity you prob don't see, just becsuse a family is not there does not mean the city is not being used. |

No need to fear, Thoros is here! Although I'm assuming the NPC's in Corktown will keep getting stronger despite my presence in Downtown, eh? |
