I think there should be a voting option on threads and if a thread gets voted down the thread disappears and the poster of the thread gets voted off the forum island for a week.

Only thing that irks me with this suggestion (Should be in suggestions and not OOC) is that if many salty people create accounts after wars because they're mad, they can just spam vote down on many of a GF's threads because they don't like what that GF did.

How do you propose votes not be based on who someone likes and doesn't like rather than quality of posts? One can post an amazing thread and still get down votes because it was too long or because someone does not like the person behind the character. The opposite could be said about bad threads and people up voting because they like the person behind the character. Unfortunately, this place is a popularity contest at times based on who WE are rather than who we play in game.

If this is really needed, only a set of people named "Moderators" should have the ability to vote, following some written guidelines, for example someone posting an OOC thread in the streets, or something ill against the site's rules. Helpdesk members can also vote or be the acting "Moderators".

Is there a God that determines a good thread?  It is already obvious what drives a thread by the speakers who step up and speak. Sort of redundant so to speak. Why grade RP?

I kinda hate this idea.... I'm an adult who has a full time job and takes care of children full time. I graduated high school a long time ago, and I don't feel a mafia game is a classroom on which I am to be graded. People come here to write to release their creativity, maybe 10 people grade it down, and the post disappears, not because it wasn't good, but it wasn't those 10 people's idea of good. 

Let the street threads be moderated as they are already and leave the voting system to something else.
