All Cantor's Must Die Started by: Thoros on Jan 09, '18 03:28

Thoros was recovering(and drinking, of course) with his injured bodyguards outside the city of Detroit when he heard of the death of ElyCantor. Ely Cantor, the vile servant of the Great Other who had plagued the city of Detroit for so long. His compatriot in Downtown, Detroit had fallen shortly after Thoros had arrived. In the meantime, Ely's forces in Corktown remained strong.

Thoros decided to run to the streets and spout his possibly crazy nonsense to all who would listen. Was he crazy? Maybe. OR, maybe...

Valar morghulis. I wish to thank R'hllor(the gods) for weakening the evil forces of the Great Other(aka Ely Cantor) enough so that the brave citizens of our world could extinguish the last of their kind. My faith in the Lord and in my fellow man(and woman) has been renewed.

Thoros raises his flask of rum and ignited his flaming sword in the direction of anyone gathered nearby...

To those like Frankie-Messina who, in a touching letter, kindly offered her gun to the aide of ridding Detroit of these vile creatures and to the others who joined her silently...I say thank you! Without the likes of you I would not be able to visit Corktown to earn more money on my 100% legit business opportunities... I will be drinking a lot of rum in celebration of his defeat as well, in your honor. You all served the Lord of Light(probably without knowing it).

With that, Thoros extinguishes the sword in the snow and drinks the remainder of the rum in his flask. With a look from Thoros, one of his bodyguards takes the flask from his hand and runs off to refill it.

And to think, all of this was done without a human sacrifice. An old friend of mine would have been disappointed.

Now I can finally fully explore this new city I live in without fear for my bodyguards' lives.

I look forward to a bright dawn in Detroit and beyond.

Tony puts out his smoke as he listens to Thoros.

It is great to finally see Detroit free of all those who were a threat to this thing of ours. So I hope that we can now finally see what you and Maddy can do with the Motor City. I wish you good luck and good fortune on your venture. If you're ever in Las Vegas and need anything then do not hesitate to ask.

He turned and made his way slowly down the street past the now empty HQ of Ely Cantor's family.
