| Cost of moving HQ city/ district | Started by: Lynchy on Jan 09, '18 17:28 |

Currently in order for a family to move city one of the major cost barriers is the repair of forts and cost of new HQ. While this makes sense intuitively, it is a barrier. As a result, moving existing HQs to new cities can come at the expense of making new auths in the context of a limited pot of funds. Typically HQ moves only come after wars, a time when funds are often scarce and the game is likely to be in rebuild mode. I suggest potentially removing/ materially reducing the cost of moving city so as to a.) support spreading population around cities rather than developing blocks and b.) encouraging more new auths when they are needed. |

Just like in real life, every 18 year old wants to move out of their parents into their fine ass 3,000sqft apartment with 80" big screen tv, 3000 channel cable package, gigabit, ultra modern furniture, marble counter tops, new appliances and so on. Its not realistic. There is nothing wrong with starting with a smaller HQ and then upgrading when you are prepared for it. There is nothing wrong with building up your forts over time rather than instantly on day one. If a user cant scrape together 1m for an HQ from their collective resources, then maybe they are unprepared for the task ahead of them :/ |

At the very least, the cost of the HQ's and forts should be reduced to reflect the lower capacity in crew sizes. Since crews will be on average earning less due to fewer members, costs should be scaled back to match the previous levels that were used pre-HQ size change. While it's not realistic to expect full forts and a red carpet being rolled out when you start a crew, I don't think it serves anyone's interest by making it even more difficult to establish a crew. |

Yacht, We already dropped the pricing of full forts down $5,850,000 million, does your price not reflect that? |

In the interest of keeping the same cost structure, shouldn’t the price of forts and HQ’s come down roughly ~25% to reflect the reduction in crew size? A reduction in 5.8 off of forts is a good thing - it just seems to me that it is objectively more expensive now to run a crew than it was a few weeks ago. |

The HQ's shrunk by roughly 14%, so I don't think dropping the price 25% would be keeping the same cost structure. |
