HotIce had been doing her usual rounds of business when her underboss Cherry had contacted her.  The two had met at the coffee shop they frequented.  This time though it wasn't for just general business and conversation.  Cherry had good news that her HQ had reached compacity.  So now it was time for Old City District to expand.  The two women sat and discussed possibilities for the next person to set up and lead in OCD, after a lengthy discussion they both decided they wanted to give someone new a chance.

HotIce then sat down and called Rick into her office.  The godmother was standing at the bar in her office when he arrived, and she could see the look of concern on his face.   She took out two tumblers and poured them both a whiskey out of her private stash. "Please, have a seat Rick"  HotIce casually said as she motioned to the chairs at her desk.

The godmother walked back over to her desk, sliding Rick's glass across the table to him.  She sat in her office chair and sipped on her drink. "I'm sure you're wondering why you're here today Rick. Well, let me explain a few things. Our, business, here in Old City District has become packed, and we are in need of extra space.  Because of this, I'm going to need to kick you out."

Rick's eyes got huge, a bit of panic flashed across his face, "Ma'am?"  He questioned her.

HotIce gave a long laugh and slid a set of keys over to her associate. "You see, I would like you to set up alongside myself and Cherry here in Old City District.  These keys are to your own HQ.  Congratulations my friend!" She added with a huge smile on her face.

Cherry had been sipping on her drink while Godmother HotIce was speaking to Rick. She was absolutely thrilled to see new blood go up in Old City District and it showed in the glow of her face. She passed Rick a drink and smiled.

"Congratulations Rick. It is great to see someone new here alongside HotIce and I. I look forward to working with you here in Old City."

Raising her glass, Cherry took another sip of her drink.

Rick looked at HotIce in disbelief wondering if she was really asking him to set up along side her in OCD or if this was some sort of prank. After a moment he realised the godmother was being dead serious.

Blue heaven crime syndicate was Ricks first home, his only every home he has never had a different home, so he was honoured that HotIce and Cherry thought he was the right man for the job. He took the keys off HotIce and whispered to her. "Thank you so much, i will not let you down."

Determined to show face, Rick left off into the night in search for Alexandria.
