Anyone else been playing this game recently? Pretty good game, just came out . It takes place during the 40s and 50s and you play as a working class Italian going through the ranks of the Italian Mafia. Pretty good in staying true to it's roots. I'm going to admit that I haven't been on MR lately because of the game haha. Anybody that likes that sort of stuff should try the demo on PSN/Xbox Live. It might even help you roleplay your character better.

I actually just started playing it yesterday, it's every bit as good as I was hoping it'd be. I really enjoyed the first one and I'll admit I was a little worried about this one but so far the second one is great.

I liked the first one as well, there's a major reference to Tommy near the end. I won't spoil it as I myself was shocked when I saw it.

I beat The game it was nice  it really had a dark moodand the ending just is incredible I played the First one and in the second one i didn't know there was going to be  something about Tommy.

I liked the demo, but Ive played the hell out of Saints Row 2 so I went with Red Dead Redemption...good choice or bad ?

I loved SR2 as well but Mafia 2 felt more like GTA IV in that it had a serious, dark undertone to it whereas SR2 was the goofy fun sandbox game. RDR was pretty serious as well. IMO everybody should rent Mafia 2.

Yes the game is really something isn't it?
