| Sleepless in Seattle | Started by: Alex_Turner on Feb 04, '18 21:52 |

It was raining as Alex was watching the city go by from his apartment window. He couldn’t sleep as his head kept spinning from the weeks' events, he had been in Seattle a week now and it had rained every day, it didn’t bother him too much, being from England he was used it. Breathing heavily he almost couldn’t believe it, after months of planning the move he was finally in Seattle. The city he sat and watched was now home and despite the weather, he felt the future was bright. There would be a lot of work to do and it wouldn’t be easy but he was eager to get started. The first thing on his list was to recruit a group of loyal earners and soldiers, he currently only had one man he could rely on but Johnny was as good as a hundred men. He walked over to his desk and took out several pieces of paper and picked up his pen. He wanted to write a letter to all the other crew leaders he knew, letting them know that he had started operating in Seattle and that they were always welcome to the city.
Greetings, I am writing to you to let you know I have now started operating in Seattle, Pioneer Square. I won’t list the various operations we will be dealing in as it is very much what you would expect. The purpose of this letter is to invite you to the city and to start a healthy relationship with you and your city. Please let me know when I can expect you so that I can ensure your visit is as enjoyable as possible. Kindest Regards, Alex Turner.
Putting the pen aside he read the letter back to himself and smiled, the future was bright indeed. |

Tony had been sitting in his delicatessen when one of his men came in and handed him an envelope. He opened it and read the letter he had just received from Alex Turner, the man who had just gone over to Seattle to set up shop. It was a nice gesture to see from the first leader in Seattle. So he told him man to get him a piece of paper and a pencil so that he could write back...
Tony carefully folded the piece of paper and slid it into an envelope. He turned back to the man who originally brought him the letter, "Get this to Alex Turner as soon as you can." |
