Was Alejandro's father maybe not Alejandro's father? Started by: AlejandroGuevara on Feb 05, '18 11:05

It has been a while since he had made his entrance into the world of criminals, and AlejandroGuevara really found himself at ease in Shaggs's Mystery Machine. His crew leader was a great example for him, especially because it didn't feel like his crew leader was the type that worked all too hard. Alejandro preferred to win his money, rather than dishonestly earning it. Robbing old ladies just did not fit into his romantic view of the criminal world. He wasn't too good with a gun and picking locks or cracking safes weren't his favourite acivities either.
He did have a weak spot for so-called Organised Crime, though. Yet he lacked the skills to actually plan these properly, so he built a bit of a reputation of organising UC's instead. Guevara had great fun in phoning his accomplices from jail, to check on whether the others were comfortably in jail as well.
When not in jail, life in Summerlin was great. Ever since the day Joy invited him over, he had met so many awesome people already, the district was vibrant and there seemed to be a continuous flux of wonderful people like Bearski into town. Apart from all those great people, TheButcher also came to Vegas.

One day, in between not doing anything and doing nothing at all, AlejandroGuevara was talking to Kaira about their respective bloodlines and that made Alejandro a bit uncomfortable, he had a sudden weird sensation. Because of Fi.. Monika's verbal qualities, it was well known to the whole community that Alejandro's father was the late Aztec God named Macuilxochitl, but he did not recognise much of the God's reputation in himself. Alejandro hardly ate Fish, he did not wear golden crowns (immediately selling all jewellery he laid his hand on to get something to gamble) and he definitely despised sacrificing children just for the purpose of sacrificing them.
But what really gave Alejandro the creeps was that he felt that many people were annoyed by his name. Even though his name sounded melodious and exotic, there was something about it that seemed to make people around him pissed off. Even up to the point that made them threat him to take his life 'by accident'. That made Alejandro think.

How could a loving father do something like that to his son? How could he have given him such a name that people wanted to get rid of him only for his name?*

One day in HQ, Jones posed a nice theory.

Could it have been that their had been a mix-up in hospital?

He was aware of weird stuff happening in this world, in Vegas and especially in Summerlin. For example, Prof-V-Jameson was well known for doing experiments, and there even was a rumour of him creating Pep-Carpuccio-E001 in the process. That surely sounded weirder than a mix-up of babies would have been.

So AlejandroGuevara decided to look around for people that could have been his parents and he started his little investigation in his own family, as he was quite sure that some of his own characteristics could be a consequence of inbreeding. For a while he considered the possibility of VictoriaValium being his mother. But in the end, he rejected that thought, mainly because of how different their ideas on work ethos were, but also for a small bit based on the fact that Victoria was younger than Alejandro was.

Slipping into a total vacuum of mental awareness, and not daring to ask help from Frankie-Messina, Alejandro even turned to TonyCastelli to get advice. Alejandro even sent big sums of money for some ideas, but it seemed as if Tony simply accepted the money as bribes and felt he did not need to give mental advise.

Having no clue, Alejandro decided to nick the keys of the bright coloured Mystery Machine van. He opened it, climbed behind the wheel, drove it onto the streets, parked it, slid the door open, grabbed a whiskey, dropped onto the flowery bench, and hoped there would be an unexpected encounter with any knowledgable person for him to find some assurance on his origin..

*at first only for his name.. Once they got to know him, of course, there were many more reasons..

There was an old man know around as AlberoGuerrero, who when not being mistakenly shot at, would often enjoyed a good stroll by the local park or even parking his drug loaded stroller in front of the local thugs. He too felt that his name choice had not been the most well thought out endeavor by his parents, thinking at times of the curse it was to be regarded as a rogue by those who take a first impression as more than enough reason to start unloading rounds on him and his precious merchandise.

Today he was strolling his stroller on the local park however, to break the daily routine and join the useful with the joyful and these thoughts were running through his mind. That maybe it wasn't the name per se that was making people displeased by his presence but rather the fact that he dressed in the most upstanding fashion and people were actually jealous. He was engaged on this very plausible line of thought while tucking his extra-tight pantyhose and adjusting his skirt when he noticed Alejandro Guevara sitting near a colorful van.

He remembered the fellow from somewhere but he couldn't quite place him amidst the many episodes his fast and dangerous life was filled with. He took out his lipstick and applied a generous layers below his furry mustache, and began pushing his stroller towards Alejandro.

"Hello there good sir. OH! You're AlejandroGuevara. I heard of your problem, I think this might be fortuitous for the both of us. That we meet here." He opened his mouth widely revealing only but two, yet pristine white, teeth. It was evident he took great care of them, and valued their presence as the resistive force they were among the treatment many others had already perished.

"You see, I've been around these shores for longer than many. And if I wasn't lucky to have others helping me in finding out my real bloodline, I believe I can perhaps be of use. So tell me, have you ever heard of this time-traveler going into nurseries and switching potential revolutionary babies on their birth-crib? Not that the babies are revolutionary by themselves, only that they could be if they ought to be left on the natural course that their life was directed to. You know? Have you heard of that?"

AlejandroGuevara watched the remarkable old man and his stroller as they approached the van and stood up to shake him his extended hand. Even though he looked a bit worried, as if he had gone through a very tough life with a constantly luring threat, the man seemed very content with his very tight pantyhose.

As the man started to speak, Alejandro was impressed with the whiteness of both of his teeth. They matched really well with the lipstick. He listened as the man spoke and really got into the story as he heard him talk about time-travelers and revolutionary babies.. Then the man properly introduced himself, by saying he was named Albero Guerrero. Without thinking, in a blink of an eye, Alejandro pulled out his gun and fired a bullet right through Mr. AlberoGuerrero's skull..

Well.. that escalated out of hand quickly, Alejandro thought.

As the gun was still smoking and Mr. Guerrero dropped to the floor with a dull smack, Alejandro knew he had made a mistake.

Oh fuck.. he mumbled.. Shaggs will be so pissed off when he sees the lovely purple and yellow flowers on the van covered with those just-off-vertical stripes of dried out blood and small pieces of brain..

Also, he understood how disciplined people have been to have kept himself alive so far. And after a while, he realized that he would probably have no chance to hear about the baby-swapping anymore.

Damn that cruel bastard that gave me this name, he thought. Because of that inhumane idiot I have to clean this mess..

As he sat down again, he hoped there would be more people popping up that could give him leads to who his biological father could have been..
