SINGER_ROURKE comes out from the Roxanne poetry center in new orleans. He just got done reviving an old business and thinks about how some crazy guys in there were making fun of somebody reciting a poem. How disrespectful that is. SINGER_ROURKE gathered a few people around and started talking about respect.

I think its funny, I really do think it is quite funny how disrespectful people can be. Now im not pointing any fingers cause its not needed. Im not saying Joe the mobster did it nor am i saying that i have never disrespected anyone i just strive to be a very respectful and friendly person. Now i know this is "The MAFIA" and were all supposed to be cut throat killers with no intention of good in our hearts. I have a heart breaking announcement to all those that think thats the way we should be, I wont conform to that type of sterotype.

Now before i continue let me make this absolutely clear i am a man with a mind and i have made a single decision. I was not influenced nor do i know anyone who agrees with me on this topic. Not my leader or the youngest person in this world so if you are mad, its cause i acted on my own FREE WILL. 

A great Crew leader and Godfather once said that the way he looked at this life was just business. No one meant anything to him really but money and protection. I couldnt blame him, he was a Godfather. He didnt need anyone. Me personally i believe in treating everyone with respect wether they are an earner or if they are the Godfather. Now obviously a Godfather has earned the respect that he has spent more time around the business side of things but an earner also deserves at least an ounce of respect that he didnt just go inactive in our world and allow himself to get shot by some bad mobster guy.

So SINGER_ROURKE what do you propose? Should we all go around holding hands and skipping down the street? Of course not. We are in the mafia after all and the way this life works is you come in alive and you leave dead. It will happen to all of us. Why do we have to look down on anyone or treat anyone like they are crap. It dosent make sense. So you carry 30 drug units thats fine all that means for me is i have more of a life than you. Did that hurt your feelings? See it dosent feel nice does it. I think the worst part of this is you dont know how people are coping with life right now. Some people could honestly be depressed and when they put on their suits and join up with their family it might be the only way the end up feeling peaceful. Yet still fat tom over there has to criticize someone cause he isnt satisfied with his own life. Sorry Tom you wont ever get a girl friend.

SINGER_ROURKE many people have talked about this why do you think your words will make any difference? To be honest its because i care. Find me one person just one who i have ever treated like crap. You wont be able to. I care about people, i care about the way a true mobster carrys out his business, with respect that is, And i care about being a gentleman. Real mobsters dont go out making fun of people because they simply dont need to. They are proven already within their family.

Im not saying go out of your way and compliment the guy next to you. Im saying dont disrespect someone from another family. Just because you have a higher rank then him. You arent in his family so you shouldnt be going around acting like your better than him. Besides that little guys gun can might be better than yours. Please Please Please consider thinking about what you are saying before you say it. Remember people are not animals, they have emotions, they have a whole list of reasons why they put on this suit and join up with their family.

I would really like to ask for the help of crewleaders around the cities to take some kind of a stand on this. I mean if it dosent concern people that others bash on speeches in the street, or slander in the business districts then i believe we have a major problem.

McFly overhears what his friend has to say and stops to give it some thought, "Well said my friend that is what honor and respect are really about, generally the people who only find the time to disrepect others in public are the ones who think they are something special and are above everyone else, i hear they make a loud thud when crashing back down to earth by the way. Manners and respect cost nothing in this life but are the means in which everyone is judged so choose wisely".

Having said his piece McFly shakes his friends hand and bids him farewell then disappears as quickly as he came.

Singer_Rourke, I applaud you.  You have spoken your mind with respect and honor.  I don't think anyone could have said it better than you did.  No one says we all have to agree with everyone all the time, but that doesn't mean it can't be said with respect.  I have different opinions and feelings than most people here.  It shouldn't matter what those opinions are, I can disagree and still be respectful.

*Francie skips off down the street, holding hands with her friends.*

Foxy is walking along minding her own business...enjoying Mother Natures' gifts as she occasionally gets distracted from a shiny shoe or a gun shot. Didn't matter how hard she tried she always wounded up distracted.  As she continues on her peaceful walk she starts to hear voices and walks a bit closer so she can over hear SINGER_ROURKE speech. Words start to catch her attention. Fine words they are. How could a person not listen? Such truth and passion that is behind it...SINGER_ROURKE believes in it and makes it all the more exciting to listen to him speak. Why do people think it is okay to disrespect others? Would you want to be treated that way? I think not. So why do it? What goes around comes around and you can only go so far in life if you put others down.

Individuals are one of the puzzles to life...if you make friends you make connections. I don't care how low ranked they are or what job they have; people are your customers. They are what build you. Without them you are nothing. To me I believe in respecting my customers more than anything else. Everyone is a salesman, whether you like to think of it or not, what keeps you different from the average Joe Shmoe is by not just selling to someone once (that parts easy) but by having customers come back (that’s the hard part.) So why treat people badly? There are innumerable causes that are different for each type of individual but we all have problems. You decide what type of person you are going to be by how you connect with others, so why go out of your way to make others feel bad? Sure you feel better at first but it goes away and whether you notice it or not you feel worse.

 I know I don't want to feel bad and I wouldn’t wish that upon others even if they don't show me the same kind of respect. I'm happier because of it. I've done the whole I'm pissed at the world so fuck you all routine...didn't get me too far. When I let go of all the tension in my life I was able to enjoy much more and not let others bring me down because there will always be someone to tell you can’t do something or say they dislike said quality; don’t let them win by doing the same act to others. If you do, then you are just letting others control you and influencing you to constantly repeat the cycle of hurting others. Yes we are masochist, yes we are sadists. But why do we have to be?

Foxy begins to notice what a babbler she is being... going on such a tangent. Nonsense. She hates when she gets lost in the words…too many; it’s hard to keep up with her mind…there are always distractions. She wishes she had said it in a clearer manor but she is already too far gone to refocus. Witnesses will just have to unscramble and make sense of such a mind boggling topic. Thinking too hard about this. Just let it go. Why’d you have to go all philosophical on them? You always do this. Just stop. People don’t want to hear such things your the only nut that does. Just walk away. Maybe people won’t even notice your outburst. Yeah. That’s possible. Who am I kidding of course they did. Just walk away quietly and no one gets hurt.

Foxy walks away quietly. Already forget about what was spoken and begins to run after a Pitpull that an owner unfortunately lost to a car of meat.  

Singer, I agree with you concerning the respect issue. Anyone who knows of my bloodline knows I belive respect is a must to maintain buisness in our way of Life.  It doesn't matter the person's rank be it from Godfather, all the way below to a civie. respecting sombody and treating somebody with respect is two diffrent things which shouldn't be mixed up. Even if it is you're enemy, you should treat them with respect. even if you ended the beef by killing of them.

Very well put SINGER. Are we all going to agree all the time, of course not, not only because we of an elite type of peoples, but because we are human. We have minds of our own. But that certainly does not mean, nor does it give us the right to behave like a total ass to someone with who we don't agree with or think that we are better than. No one INDIVIDUAL is better than any other individual here. This has nothing to do with rank, but as the person we are. As for ranks, yes there are those above us that require our respect no questions asked, they have earned it. Thank you for expressing your thoughts on this matter.
