Boogie rolled onto his left side due to all of the knocking on the HQ's main door..

He ignored it.

What the fuck is going on outside? Return of the ass wipes? 

He grabbed his gun and headed for the front door. Something had to give, because let's face it, you don't get to look this good by getting interrupted in your naps all the time. When he opened the door he didn't know if he should smile or throw a grenade that exploded bullets.

The moment he stepped out the door there were roars of celebration as if he just killed every contender in Caesar's entertainment den. There was a sea of people standing on the lawn he worked so hard to maintain. There were signs that read "Boogie u iz GOAT" "Boogie oogie woogie" & of course his favorite "Boogie we love you <3!". He couldn't believe but he knew what the people came here for.

Simmer down people! Simmer down. It's been some time hasn't it? I've decided to share the streets but unfortunately I was never good at sharing things with people outside of my city. Today I come to you with a topic that everyone can talk about unless you drink rat poison before you go to sleep every night. 

Is rank something that's being EARNED right now?

There were times WAY back in some people's journals where sniffing a certain rank was impossible. Then, not too long ago but also in the past, there was a time where everyone walked around as if they invented Cosa Nostra with a rank that didn't fit their resume or mannerism. I've planted a high ranked mafioso spy in every family across the country to see what the statistics were. This is what I found:

I must admit. When the numbers first landed in my hands I was extremely happy. I remember reading about my great-great grandfather having to roam the streets of Dons that acted like 12 year old girls with their monthly cycle, or Godfathers with the speech of a drunk whale. You get the picture.

I find it extremely beautiful knowing that there are 179 pending applications to join this thing of ours. The future looks bright! Not only are there 179 idiots I get to slap around and give wedgies to without any consequences, but everyone with the rank of Made Man and above has worked for everything that they possess. I hope... because having interactions with some people make me realize that there are some people in leadership positions that don't deserve the title, and need to be put on ice. However that's another story.

Me personally? I've had to work for my rank. I felt accomplished walking into that room and taking that oath. I don't feel like I woke up in a position because of the years I put in. No. I feel as if I'm ACTUALLY apart of a family. I feel like I'm trusted. I feel like my hard effort was without question appreciated/ Even though this is only the beginning I can understand why some of you look at me like I'm 5 ranks above Made Man. After all, this was not a quiet process. My presence is felt not only on the streets, but also behind closed doors.
