Roadrunners journal Started by: Tyr on Feb 10, '18 23:45

Tyr picks up a book his father had left him. He was the son of Roadrunner815 and Rumrunner815. He still could not believe they were dead along with all those who had raised and mentored him as a kid. He had seen the rivers of blood in the streets where he grew up.  He opens the book To see his fathers writing.

This is a record of my life and times as a mobster.  I started in a family that did not know me but gave me a chance Uncle Joe gave me a home and the chance to prove myself or fail hard. I grew and showed him my value and he gave me a trust and friendship i had yet to see, he trained me in every  aspect of this life he talked to me and was a great friend and boss he wanted me to reach the top. The fun I had the with the family is something i can never really explain. That is where i met Salvatore_Lucania my next boss, I went with him to help him set up a family in the same city. I already knew him as a friend and brother in a crew having him as a boss would be new. It was a great experience and I am truly glad to have been here. He was always there to guide me in my new position and teach me the things i had yet to learn. I mean he need me to run the crew cause lets face it the RHM is the backbone of the family, something I had not known in full all the things that go in to it. Yet he never just left me hanging. Plus the fun we had, had to keep construction teams close at all times and never keep anything of value in our offices. We built a family here men and women who actually cared about each other. a place where the new people could learn and grow and the vets could come and share their knowledge. it went so well we never had to really had any problems we just all worked together smoothly.

Now i sit here watching those same people dying around me and it is hard,, I know my time is soon and that does not even bother me. It is the death of those i care about that huts beyond words. I say this to the children of the fallen of Chicago. you had great parents and i know you will be just as great. Give your families your all and be the best person you can be living with honor.

Tyr sets the book down with tears in his eyes, seeing the words made him both happy and sad and proud of his father and those who had given him so much. He knew he was not long for this life he just hoped his brother could find a good life here when he arrived form Ireland. He picked the book up and went to a print store and had copies made. Then the post where he sent them to all those he knew would want to see it.

Report Post Tips: 2 / Total: $40,000 Tip

Addison stops abruptly in front of a corner newsstand. The headlines on the local paper was interesting enough to flip the newsstand attendant a couple coins. Reading on, Addison sighs. Skipping to the last paragraph, Addison shudders at the senseless deaths and cannot help but to wonder where were the mega body guards were and so much for the maxed out forts. Did the maxed out forts move? So many questions and banking on no rational answers.  How is this mass destruction of innocent lives well protected killed off in such disgrace? Where is the respect for fellow Mafioso and the underling factor in this word?  What happened to conducting business?

In this world we got kin who step up and I ask how effective is that for business when you the killer know the kin?

Walking down the street with a few of my friends we here someone yelling at the street corner.  We make our way towards the gentleman speaking and take heed for a min.  As I listen to what he is saying I feel remorse for his family.  The strange thing is is I didn't even see this slaughter reported in the papers.

Guess these guys just didn't deserve to get their names in the paper.  See, this city frowns on senseless attacks without provocation.

Listening to the man in the street finish up his speech we take up where we left off and decide to go have us a dinner at Sals Steak House.  I hear the chow is good.

Just about home I hear an unfamiliar voice. I turned around so I could hear this voice.
