It was a special day for the city of New York. A new leader was later to be announced in the streets, leading their own family in Brooklyn. Insomnia had called up all of the city leaders, giving them the heads up along with a time frame for when the celebration would start. 

Walking over to his closet, he changes into a new suit before knocking onto Rayden's door, seeing if she was ready. His eyes widen and his jaw drops to the floor as Rayden opens the door. She was looking stunning as usual, but something about her today just put a blush to his face. 

Insomnia's voice cracks asking "Are you all set and ready to go? We still need to swing by and pick up Serana before we get there." With a smile Rayden nods her head, leading the way out the door. 

The pair flags down a taxi, giving the directions to the driver while heading to Luminosity's headquarters. Insomnia rolls down his window, placing his head out of the vehicle as if he were a dog, enjoying the lovely weather as they strolled through town. After roughly nineteen minutes of traffic they reach their destination, tipping the driver they exit the taxi waving goodbye. 

Luminosity was already outside, digging in her garden when they arrived. Smiling Insomnia jokingly asks "Is it smart to bury the body that close to your house?" rolling her eyes she waves him on inside the house. "Your still showing up later though right?" he asks, knowing she had some business to attend to first. Smiling she nods "Yes! I wouldn't miss it for the world!"

Insomnia opens the door for Rayden to lead the way inside, heading upstairs they find Serana looking into the mirror doing some last minute touches on her make up. Rayden whistles "Damn girl! You looking fine!"  they both begin to giggle "I'm ready!" Serana continues to laugh while picking up her luggage heading downstairs. 

The trio takes off onto the streets in one of Luminosity's limos she had garaged for the special occasion. Serana was driving recklessly in and out of traffic like a mad woman, Insomnia was beginning to get car sick. "How much longer until we get there" He asks, holding his hand over his mouth afraid something may come out. The car soon pulls off to the side of the road coming to a halt. "Were here!" Exiting the vehicle they quickly notice a group of people gathered around tables chatting amongst each other before the main event.

Insomnia lights up a cigarette to ease his nerves before clearing his throat to get everyone's attention. 

"Excuse me everybody, but if I may could I have a moment of your time please? I'm sure most of you are wondering why I gathered you all here today. With all of the cities brimming full we are looking to setup a bright, new face to house recruits. After much discussion and planning we here in New York have decided to give the nod to Serana in leading her own organization in Brooklyn."

Looking over at Serana he cracks a grin.

"You've definitely deserved this hun, I couldn't think of someone I trust more to bestow this position on. You've been nothing short of remarkable since joining our city. Your father was someone I truly looked up to, it brings me great joy and honor to see you get this opportunity"

Taking a final drag from his cigarette he flicks it towards the ground, stomping it out. Smiling he nods his head towards Rayden. 

"Today is one of the happiest, yet hardest days for me. You've been with me since day one in our family and today I'll have to let you go. I'll miss our little chats and seeing you around the headquarters but I know you'll do an awesome job as you've done for me, in helping out Serana. 

Wiping away a tear he smiles looking back at the crowd. "Please help yourselves to all the alcohol you can stomach and some tasty food the chefs have prepared for us today!"
