"there is billions floating around... why do we need more cash to spend on nothing?"- Judge Death


This very statement has prompted me to suggest this suggestion. We need more ways to spend money. There should be things that are implemented so that we can spend all our millions on them. It would be a wonderful way to take money out of the game.

Ideas I had to do this is that our business' in the street have an up keep cost or a rent so that we can be spending like maybe a 100 dollars a day to make sure our business's aren't shut down. And to balance it out we should maybe have people paying you for your service but that the most you could charge for anything would be like 50 dollars if your selling coffee or food or whatever. And Like 50,000 dollars if your running something like a car dealership. Obviously the upkeep costs would be higher for these establishments since they are making more money.

Any Ideas or suggestions? Reasons why this wont work? Every valid statements are welcome

I agree, i think a cost related to the upkeep of a business is a relevant and realistic cost. But there being a cost to the customer i think is a bad idea, negatives being posts should be encouraged and a cost does not encourage it, especially one of $50,000 in some cases (to the lower rank its a high price).

Or to incorporate it into say RL values.  Like purchasing property, building, inventory, monthly upkeep, etc.  But then again that was/are the business' that the Mafia extorted from.  Not that some did not have business of their own.  Don't know how much trouble this would be for designers, and what it would do for the game in general.  That brings in the question do you want to run a business or be in the Mafia?

you want more stuff to spend money on? well here is a couple of ideas give it to your cl and help keep the family safe or train your gun another way to keep the family safe, heck if you really want to give some to me :P I can always do with more money.

Its not really just to spend money is it though Matt? Its more of a way to get money out of the game. There are people with up to billions of dollars (not complaining here) and not doing anything with it. And just like you I do everything I can to keep my Family Strong but what do you want me to do? Give away ALL of the money? Only in times of war would I do that. Even IRL the Mobsters wouldn't give all the money they earned to the Boss.


Enoch to address the 50,000 dollars thing, it wouldn't have to be 50 grand. If your a car dealership you can put it for like 20 dollars. And besides just like IRL, if you cant afford it....don't buy it.
