Listen to me. Just take a moment, and listen, to me. Are you listening to me? Okay. Now that you're listening to me, I have something that I need to say. Just listen, to me. You. Me. Listening. Your ears. My mouth speaking into those ears. Are you good now? Yes. Are you listening? Are you listening to me? Okay. Good. Are you sure? I need you to be completely and entirely certain to a one-hundred percent chance that you are in fact listening to me. Please. This is so important and you really, really, really need to be listening to me and I honestly cannot stress this enough.

Alright.

Are you listening to me? If you do one thing in your life, then make that one thing you listening to me. I need this, this is so damn important to me and I really hope you can accept that. Here I go, I'm about to say the thing in which you better be listening to, and by the way, please make sure you are listening.

Are you? Are you really, honestly, certainly listening right now? Look deep within your soul. No, no, no, wait! Close your eyes, yes? Keep them closed. Shut them tight, now open them. Are you listening now? Have you found your center, so to speak? That special nougat-y center of listening? I sure hope so, because I'm about to revolutionize everything for you in ways you weren't sure could be done.

Are you ready?

Set.

Are you SURE you're listening? It's imperative that you're listening, and I don't mean that half-ass listening that most people do. No, what I'm talking about is pure 100% de-facto listening. Your ears need to be pressed to my lips essentially and you need to be so sure that you're paying attention that it hurts. Are you? Good.

It's time.

What I wanted to speak about today is pick-pocketing. Is it even? Like, do we even know about it? What is it?  Are we just, uh, wait no, that's not what I wanted to talk about. I left my notes at home, please give me a minute to go fetch them and just sit here, I'll be right back! I promise. Just please make sure that you're listening. This is important.

Alright, be right back.

Maddy was taking a nice stroll through the city and heard a bit of a commotion coming from a short way down the road. Upon getting closer she could hear a man who sounded like he had something extremely important to say. She got a little closer and waited for his message.

"What I wanted to speak about today is pick-pocketing. Is it even? Like, do we even know about it? What is it?"

"Pick-pocketing?" Maddy thought. Something I tend to do as often as possible. It's pretty interesting to see the reaction of some people when you do it just to give it back to them. But she thoroughly enjoyed doing it. She continued to listen as the man stopped. The gentleman seemed to be in a bit of a fluster having left his real message written down on something elsewhere. "oh well"

She shrugged her shoulders and walked off.

I'm sorry, I wasn't listening. Did you say something?

It baffles me how I can't use my shovel for an hour after I pick pocket someone. It's like I forget how to use it. Only for an hour though.

Brancer was walking by when he noticed the man trying to make a speech. He lit a cigarette and was about to talk off when he heard the words "pick-pocketing." "Hmm maybe he had something to say. Wait no he is running back for notes. Ah, oh well." Brancer finished his smoke and threw it down as he walked on down the street.

Walking through the streets admiring the scenery and taking in the fresh air, Lancelot hears a young man well what sounded like a young man anyway, screaming out for people to listen over and over again...

Checking his watch Lancelot figured he had a bit of time to spare and wasn't particularly in any rush to get to his favourite watering hole, he decided to hang around and see what the lad had to say for himself, lighting up a cigarette he stood and listened...

Shaking his head Lancelot almost felt robbed, he had lost ten minutes of drinking time and was absolutely none the wiser as to what the poor chap was talking about "Ahh well I hope the poor lad gets some help in expressing himself" he muttered to himself as he walked on towards the tavern.
