What I liked was  that it was a fun event that gives many chances to move up in each rounds. Teaming up was fun, and so was the idea of gaining life from both jails and shooting.

What I did not like was that for teaming it was hard to get it situated and we ended up shooting each other by mistake. Other then that it was good. Though nothing can really be done for teaming.

What to improve on? I only saw one thing that bothered me and it was that the timer went up a few seconds for no reason while it was counting down. Still was a wonderful event. Thanks for it~!

1) What did you like?

The team I was working with made it a fun 24 hours, and it was great despite the challenges we faced we were able to go through each round with laughter, more times than others, so that was the main thing -- having fun.

We as a team were extremely proud of our accomplishments.

2) What did you not like?

The disadvantage of the sizes of the teams....but with strategy and teamwork we did the best we could together AND had fun so in the end it's all good.  There is always going to be something someone doesn't like, but all in all was a great day.  

The stubbornness I have to tough it out for the full 24 hours...damnit lol.  Round 8 I was dragging and quiet for a while til some caffeine and sugar rush kicked in a bit.  Fun size snickers ftw.  \o/  :P  

3) What can we improve upon?

Maybe removing the resemblance reveals during the wacks...just saving who the anon character was in the end when eliminated.  This might prevent some people who carry grudges ingame to target specific players and killing them off first.  I would have rather liked the anonymity til the end of who I was shooting and vice versa.  Just an idea no biggie if not done.

I have a suggestion on a way to improve v day and bring a little power balance to the event. 

What about some sort of system to automatically place people into teams? You could have some sort of toggle switch option and those that turn it on prior to the start, get randomly placed into a team each round. Or something. You could even have ig chat just for the groups. This gives a little more balance with the larger more powerful groups who are able to organise and dominate. These large groups will probably still "win" but this would give the little guys (like myself and others) a slight advantage. 

In regard to Daniel Jacksons idea, each round people simply get a colour team, whether split as those logged on and additional members as they log in or at random making it a cross city system where people from all cities maybe red, orange, yellow whatever,  If all groups are equal amounts will just be a case of better organisers and each round the groups change so don't build that chemistry and organisation thats so important to such events.

After reaches X level of people left can either have it break down to the 1 team left free for all, or when down to 20-30 people in free for all.   So retain both team and individual elements for contest.

Okay, imagine this, once you die, you get two options:

• Play normal game.
• GO TO THE CHICAGO THUNDERDOOOOOME

If you go to Chicago, once there's only 15 players left in the real match, everyone is one-shot-one-kill and guns shoot every 10 seconds, and everyone just shoots at everyone until there's only one person left and it keeps happening over and over until someone wins the real match. Gives people something to do who die with 40 minutes left who don't want to take a break.

Squishy, I already knew about the jail timer. But just sitting and watching the attack timer during the event it went from 45 to 38 back to 40 at random. So I was not sure if it was just internet being slow or if something was happening with it that could be fixed.

I don't get why people are so cute up on teaming? Isn't part of the whole process finding a good and solid team to paly with? We are given more than enough time in advance to figure your shit out. 

You get rewarded for ever shot you take, so it's not like you don't get something for your efforts, regardless of "teaming " or not.  Part of the whole fun of vday for me is the 24 hour Skype call that I can join and take part in and have an absolute blast. 

If people don't have the nouse to get that set up in advance. That's on you and only you. Let's be blunt. I played three rounds and was last man standing one round, and won two rounds of top shots. I was well rewarded for the efforts I put in. Take it for what it is, and absolute scream for whatever hours you want to take part. As far as vdays go, it was one of the lowest turned out I've seen. So there was plenty of opportunities to have a real good go at winning. 

Keep it as it is. It works great and always has.

I don't get why people are so cute up on teaming?

You say that as someone who can easily team up, spacepole and clearly did. What about newer players who haven't made those connections yet? What about people who die right before an event like this and so their vday plans were changed because they could(or would) no longer participate with those people anymore? What about people who are shy or just not as good at being as social as you are? What about people who haven't made it into the cool cliques yet?

Keep it as it is. It works great and always has.

FOR YOU and others like you. Adding the optional ability to team up does nothing to alter your game play other than creating more competition because atm, anyone who tries to solo has zero chance of winning a big prize but if the admins were to implement some sort of teaming up option, they'd have a slightly better chance at actually placing.

How many people that are new actually signed up that day. Get your head out of your fucking arse .there has always been teams, this is the way it is. There should always be teams. It's just the way it is. Ffs, you're bastardising something that's just a bit of fun. 

You are rewsrded for each shot you take. It was pretty easy to take too 20 in any round. Even if you played by yourself. For god's sake, people moaning about teaming need to take a good long look at themselves. 

Only a small %  of the site did 24 hours. There was a few how was by themselves that did very well. You have a while year to figure out your team. 

WTF are you on about, spacepole? Nobody is suggesting getting rid of teams. Or at least I wasn't. The suggestion I made was about making it easier for those who couldn't find a team to team up. You could still get in your little Skype calls with all the other cool kids.

I was in a crew that was wiped a few days before. My plans were to play with my city. Now those plans were out the window because I wasn't going back to that city. I'm not a part of one of those cool Skype group calls and therefore have ZERO CHANCE OF ACTUALLY PLACING. Yeah, they'll win a little tiny bonus a few bucks but they won't be getting the real prizes because V-Day is very cliquey. Adding in a team up option balances that out a little.

So, why be opposed to something that would not directly affect you if you didn't opt in to do it that way?
