It was not too long ago, that Detroit had been an empty and hostile city. Things were not looking good for what was once a city full of prosperity. Efforts were made by senior figures in the underworld to bring vitality back to Detroit. 

So as time passed, two leaders from neighbouring cities, moved into Detroit with the ambition of growing the city. Things were steadily progressing forward. In what was seen as an attempt to grow the city, Nexus had been authorised to set up in Corktown, with the aim of recruiting and bringing more life into the city. The Red Brigade, saw an an enlargement in their crew, with its members all driven towards the same goal to build this city back up to its past glory. 

In recent times, due to some unforeseen and unfortunate events, saw Detroit heading back into its dark days. The city was rippled and only Nexus had remained. 

So it became time for this driven and ambitious Don, to take reigns of Detroit, build this city up to being great once again. Although unexpected, Nexus had taken it upon himself to do everything in his power to grow the city. He knew this was going to be a lot of hard work, patience, and ultimately he knew that running a city comes with great responsibility, but he was well up for the task ahead.

Running the city would be best done from the central district, so Nexus moved his Headquarters to Downtown, he will be running things from there. The time also came, that his trusted right hand BlackAtom, to have a crew of his own, and thus help in the efforts of rebuilding Detroit. He would be supporting from Corktown.

Nexus knew the importance of having the support of his fellow crewleaders, so he sent out a letter, reading

To all my dear colleagues in this world of ours. I write this letter with a touch of regret, but with a huge note of ambition. As many of you may have seen, of the recent events unfolding in Detroit, that has crippled our city. Therefore I have taken it upon myself, to be the face of the city, and to pioneer Detroit back to its glorious days. I know this will be a long and difficult task to do, but I humbly believe with your support and guidance that Detroit will be great again.

A short time after your letter is sent out, a young gangster from The Ivory Tower
delivers this letter to you personally as well as notes from Frankie about
her Street Gang Leadership program, denoted in the letter below.

After listening to Don Nexus, then Don Frankie, BlackAtom steps in to speak,

"I respectfully accept this task of helping rebuild Detroit. May we break the dark cycles of recent past and bring the beloved Motor City to greater heights for future generations to come. Nexus, our bond has been solid since the beginnings of our particular careers.

In the name of such bonds, I will call my house L'amicizia, 'The Friendship'. I humbly express my gratitude to all the leaders and city heads for the great work done thus far. Thank you all for this great honor and responsibility. Salute.."

BlackAtom raises his glass of whiskey.

SirGodrikz coming out to the streets. He see's Don Nexus deliver an inspiring speech. He happens to turn a see a young gangster passing out glasses of whiskey to cheer to the wonderful news. 

SirGodrikz takes his cigar out of his mouth and Lifts his glass.

" Congratulations my friends,Don Nexus and Consigliere BlackAtom, may you bring Detroit back to its former glory!"

With the savoring of this fine whiskey, he continues his walk back to the Coffee Shop.

     MidpoinT listens with great intent as Nexus comes to the end the smile on MidpoinT's face has become ear to ear from the amazing news he has just heard. He puts his hand on Nexus' shoulder and begins to speak.

     This makes me so happy to hear my dear friend. It feels like not so long ago with the late Maddy(Rest in peace) we agreed to give you the chance at Left Hand, now look at you. It makes me so proud and happy knowing you are getting this chance. I am positive you will do great things for Detroit.

     MidpoinT turns searching for BlackAtom and casually speed walks almoat unable to restrain his excitement.

     BlackAtom knowing you are going to be here with Nexus makes me know and enforces my thoughts about how great Detroit's future is ten fold. I really can put into words how amazing seeing both of you where you are now and the opportunities you have recieved. Please, if you ever need anything I will be happy to help to the best of my abilities.

Nexus having had a busy day as expected returns back to his office. He goes over to the self made bar he had put in the corner of his office, and makes himself a glass of whisky. As he heads over to his desk, he sees a letter addressing him on the corner of the table. This is unusual as most letters go through his assistants. He knew this must of been an important letter.

As he sits back on his chair, he proceeds to open the enclosed letter. Putting on his glasses, he begins to read it..

After a couple of minutes he finishes reading the letter, noticeably having a big smile on his face as he saw the letter was sent from Frankie-Messina. 

Pondering for a few minutes, he then grabs a nearby pen, and begins writing back to Frankie.

Dear Frankie 

I am pleased to hear the letter has found you. 

Firstly, I want begin by thanking you for you're kind words, and on the behalf of Detroit we would like to express our deep gratitude for your generous support.

As you have mentioned, Detroit does serve as an important hub for all of our businesses and colleagues across the country, and thus I will do everything in my power to ensure that business is well kept and protected here. That is of course in the best interests for all of us. Stabilizing Detroit thus is essential, and having the support of your city and others will undoubtedly help in that effort. 

I have made note of you're guidance, and if you don't mind I will continue to seek you're advise on important cross-city matters. You're words of wisdom have not gone unnoticed. I see that you have enclosed other documents, I'll have a look through them in a short while, I'm sure they will be of great use. 

Lastly, I too hope that we can continue communicating and building a relationship between our two cities, for indeed thats beneficial for the both of us. So I look forward to hearing back from you.

As Nexus finishes up writing his letter, he calls in one his trusted associates. 

I need this letter, personally delivered to the desk of Frankie Messina. Make sure you're wearing your nicest threads, I want to leave her a good impression. And make sure delivering this letter the first of your priorities. 

Nexus is thrilled to see his friends SirGodrikz and MidpoinT have come out to send their well wishes to him. Excited to have them both here again, he invites them both to join him in celebratory drinks. 

As he raises his glass Nexus says with a smile on his face

I really appreciate the both of you taking you're time out to come and see me. From our time together in our early days has helped me prepare for this step, I have learnt a lot from the both of you, so I thank you for that. And know that you have a friend in Detroit, who will always be open to you should you need anything. 

The gentleman then down their drinks, and go back to their busy schedules.
