Not sure if this has been mentioned before but... If there was a feature for a safety deposit box i think that would be handy as if you get taken out and have a lot of cash without sending it to someone for safe keeping, you basically lose it, where a deposit box could help your next character, there could be certain criteria your next character has to meet before accessing it like;

• New character has to grave rob the previous so many times for the details or combination of the box
• Doing a certain amount of petties would drop info in the city the box is in, collecting 10 pieces would allow you to access the box
• you could enquire about the box on a daily basis on a question based system set up by the previous account
• Having to wait till felonies are available and robbing the bank a certain amount of times could get you closer to the box itself after time.

Might take some of the heartache out of losing the money, especially if it was a lot.

In part, the credit marketplace was created to help serve this role.  The fair trade off is that the money you save up in certain conditions may not be worth as much in a different time and of course, vice versa. 

I like the idea itself in theory. However with every change to this world we have to consider certain aspects;

1) What benefit does it provide

2) At what cost

3) a) Does this effect the economy (game cash)

3) b) How do we offset any impact to economy?

4) Is the idea still viable with the above in mind?

1) Benefits - I understand the market place is in place but not everyone (as far as i know) buys credits or is on irc/lounge enough to get them so may not be able to buy cash on the next account using credits so the deposit box would be handy for them

2) Not sure about cost, you mean an in game rental cost for the box or the man hour cost to code such feature? 

3) It would raise in game cash i would say but this could be offset maybe by having the bank maybe give 3 weeks on the new account to claim it or it gets disposed.

4)I think it is viable but i am not a coder so i know such thing may take time to test and may always not be totally possible all the time
