Good afternoon, I've stumbled my way into my first roleplay of this sort & survived..... a small while. Everything looks exciting & of course I've read through the guidelines and such. I haven't found anything related to my inquiry, so I'll just ask here.

When RP-ing in the Streets, how acceptable is it for people to join in on an established thread? Streets are for public RP & obviously people are expected to join in, however it's just awkward to post a reply in a thread you have interest in but one which is already in motion. 

Of course as you said people are encouraged to post.  I think most RP posters would welcome more activity in their posts.

A good way to go about it might be to send a mail to the host of the thread?  Maybe send them a sample of your work and see if they like it?  I understand just randomly jumping into an ongoing RP could feel... awkward.  Mailing them could possibly alleviate some of that awkwardness.
