Today was a scorching hot day with high overcast in the sky, creating a muggy feeling in the atmosphere. Insomnia was in the kitchen making a fresh cup of coffee, still trying to wake up after his late night, out of town murdering and fighting folks. Letting out a drawn out yawn he opens his eyes finding himself face to face with Briya smiling, pointing down at his tattered suit.

"I see you haven't taken a shower or changed yet. Late night?"

She smirks, chuckling to herself knowing the answer already.  Insomnia cracks a grin before blowing the steam away from his cup, sipping at his coffee carefully, nodding to Briya with his head to follow before asking...

"Would you do me a favor please? I've been itching to buy a new suit lately and wondering if you'd company me into town?" 

Briya's eyes light up with excitement at the thought of shopping.

"Only if we can stop by that new shoe store that just opened up in town. I heard my friend got an amazing deal on some pumps there."

Insomnia nods his head in agreement before opening the front door for Briya to lead the way to the car.

"Mind driving while I drink my coffee?" Insomnia asks, hoping she would.

Briya stops mid walk, placing her hand over her chin, pondering the thought before cracking a smile "Sure!"

During the car ride Insomnia realizes how much of a terrible driver she was along with how much he admired her for everything she's done for the city and himself. Many didn't know it but Briya's mother was one of the first families Insomnia had ever worked for when first starting off over in Chicago. He had always looked up to her and seen the same resembling qualities in Briya. 

The car comes to a stop in the parking lot of downtown New York's mall.

"You ready?" Briya asks taking her seat belt off.

"I guess I should be honest with you, I didn't exactly drag you out here to get a new suit... I'm sure your aware but New York has been growing in numbers by the day and we've been looking for someone to step up to the plate and run their own organization.  I was wondering if you'd do me the honor of becoming one of my captains here in Brooklyn."

Briya's eyes light up, shocked at the opportunity. 

"Yes! Of course! But wait..why'd you drag me all the way out here then just to ask me that?"

Shrugging his shoulders he looks back at her grinning.

"I had hoped you would accept my offer, in return I wanted to treat you to a few new pairs of shoes to strut around your new headquarters."

Briya stared back at Insomnia for several seconds, trying to figure out how he felt he owed her shoes after offering her auth. 

"You know what? This doesn't feel like a shopping day. This feels like a party day," she said, firing up the engine and swerving out into incoming traffic, much to Insomnia's horror. Minutes later, they were in front of a liquor shop, and Briya was sweet-talking the guy behind the counter into using his phone. 

"That building we kept poking fun at? The abandoned one around the block from Insomnia's HQ? Tell the owner it's sold. Then go to the HQ and tell the Insomniacs to wake up...we're going to have a little party," she told Bill, her main bodyguard. It was Maddix's birthday, to boot, and she knew that Irene and Obito needed to be there, for sure. And Brancer...well she hadn't quite explained that to herself yet but she knew he needed to be there, too.

"Just call everybody in my address book, please. We're celebrating!" She said, turning to smile at Insomnia.

Tony heard the news of another New York auth from one of his bodyguards who had grabbed the phone off the hook. This time is was Briya who was getting the nod. He had not really had much interaction with her, but knew from what he had heard that she was a great addition to leadership. He knew that whether or not he could make it to New York that he needed to congratulate her. So as he had done in the past with other leaders, he decided to grab his pen and a piece of paper....

Dear Briya,

I want to congratulate you on receiving the nod to run your own crew in New York alongside Insomnia. I cannot wait to see what you bring to Brooklyn and the rest of the criminal underworld. It is always exciting to see growth no matter what city it is. Just remember that if you ever need anything from us over here in Summerlin that you can feel free to contact me at any time. Whether you need help, have a question, or just want to chat.

Also, make sure that you help to keep Insomnia in line. I know he can get a bit crazy during all those late nights. Once more, congratulations Briya. I hope that you, Maddix_Cruz, and Brancer are able to accomplish great things.

Once finished, he hands the letter over to one of his bodyguards to make sure that it was delivered as quickly as possible. 

After hearing the good news, the further expansion of New York. Bubbles knew she had to get over to Brooklyn and properly congratulate Briya. Grabbing her coat and her BumbleBee she headed out the door and into her awaiting car. It was only a matter of minutes before she found herself in front of the 7% HQ.

She stepped out of the car and signaled for Bee to grab the case of wine that was in the trunk. It was a special blend from her secret stash, the finest of course. They made their way up the stairs and made their way into the HQ. Briya was in her office taking a bit of a break from the whole getting things in order process.

Bubbles made her way to her office, knocked on the door lightly and made her way in. Briya smiled as she seen Bubbles enter.

"Briya my dear, I wanted to come by and say congratulations to you. This is a nice place you got here and it's far enough after from Insomnia that he might just not bother you in the middle of the night. Well done to that."

Bee sat the case of wine down onto her desk.

"Ah, yes. Almost forgot. Here's a little congratulations gift. Probably one of the best bottles of wine, I've ever had. Anyways though, I won't keep you long. Congratulations dear and if you ever need anything, I'm not to far away."

Bubbles walked over and gave Briya a hug.

Obito had heard of the news that Briya finally received the nod to lead her own crew establishing herself in Brooklyn under a division of Godfather Insomnia. He was hyped and had to put on a suit immediately, Edward and the rest of his detail left Insomniac Headquarters and drove their way over to the The 7% Headquarters, the headquarters was being getting redecorated; no doubt under Briya's wishes, Obito stormed inside looking at the people moving around to walk and carrying shopping bags. He went inside her office and dropped the bags quickly on her desk and gave her a big hug.

"I'm so happy for you Briya. Once I heard that you got the nod I jumped out of my chair, shopped quickly and came right over. It's a few more dresses and what not, hope you like it and if they don't fit properly I'll get them back in the right size and some more heels cause why not? You're gonna do great things and I can see that on the horizon. Congratulations, again; you know where to reach me."

Upon hearing the news, Frankie took up heavy crème colored paper with her letterhead upon it and penned a letter.  She quickly set it off with a courier to Briya in New York.

When Godfather had sent out a message to Bubbles that Briya was getting her own HQ in Brooklyn, she got extremely excited. She had BumbleBee get the car ready at once, stock the trunk with some presents and off to Brooklyn they went. Once there Bee came around and opened the door for Bubbles, once out the car he went to the trunk to grab the presents that had been wrapped up for the occasion. BumbleBee followed Bubbles up into the new HQ and kept his distance allowing the Gf ample opportunity to walk about and check the new building out. She really liked the place. As Bubbles exchanged some words with Briya, BumbleBee took this opportunity to have a drink with Godfather Insomnia. Bee was a big fan of drinking with the Godfather on weekends. The Mayhem that came with drinking with Insomnia was something to behold, nowhere else could you find this type of experience. Bee snapped back from his thoughts and followed Bubbles once she asked for the presents. Bee slipped Bubbles the present she had bought for Briya for this occasion. Once Bubbles said her bit, BumbleBee stepped up to Briya. 

Hey there boss lady. I congratulate you on your new promotion. You have been extremely helpful working out of the Godfathers HQ, now with your own organization in the works, I have no doubt that you will make New York proud. I wish you the very best as you get things rolling, as always I am right down the block if you need anything. 

He Gives Briya a hug and presents her with a fur coat. This right here is made from some special material, they say its not even available in the United States, shipped in from Europe this morning. He puts the coat on Briya's shoulders as it seemed to fit her perfectly. I hope you get to enjoy this present in the New York winters, it will keep you warm when the season gets colder. He smiles and then start mingling with the rest of the attendees at the party.
