Title says it all. Can we please get some achievements for gambling?

This would be cool. Give a little cash back and some XP for various gambling activites.

Would be nice if all they who gamble could get something for loosing both cash & credits daily ;)

Or why not put in it among achievment to get some cash and also some small credit-amount?

Also want this with pokertournament!

Simply suggesting something based on a title isn't enough.

Hmmm. Worse case, only grant XP. The question I have is, would it make a massive difference to the economy by giving out cash for a set of gambling based achievements? They would only be one off give outs per character, and not of a significant ammount to really alter the economy, I imagine. Clarification on this would be a good starting point.

Even though I didn't start the thread, I'd like to add to it by proposing that a PRO would be it could generate more action within this part of the game. More money for casinos potentially, and dice and more action for the lessor used games (I don't have stats, but I'd imagine they be the table based games not including poker, but this is just a wild guess for the sake of an example). And if there are poker based achievements (if they could tie in somehow) it could generate more action on the tables too.

Achievements could be around the various games available to gamble on, including poker, in the same way drug dealing has achievements for the various drugs you can sell. As a community we could have input as to what they could be named (if approved), and the hardcore names and criteria left to the admin team.

The achievement progression could be based on attempts (like Pettys, JBs, Drug Deals etc.) so everyone progresses equally, opposed to monetary gains (as in the OC achievements).

A CON so far could be the effect it may have on the economy. And more gambling on the site, which could lead to rage suiciding to avoid paying a loan debt to that loan shark guy that keeps hitting up your inbox saying 'I just wanna talk'.

My only opposition to this is adding temptation to an aspect of the game that some folks have enough problems with already ...enough that they have to 'block' it.
