This isn't about heights and spiders. Although this are completely valid fears, I am looking for deeper responses. What eats at your heart in life. What has you up at nights wondering how you could be better. What is the that struggle that you wish to overcome.

I'm afraid of looking as / being a failure in the eyes of those that truly matter. It's a struggle, as what constitutes as being a failure/success to some doesn't necessarily fall in line with my own beliefs. But ultimately, you want people to be proud of you. You start to make decisions in your own life based on how it effects them.

Definitely elevators. I avoid them as much as i can. I once had an experience when i was on vacation where the doors would open but the elevator was still at the first floor

To live an empty, unfulfilled, barren existence. Where there is no light or a glimpse of a moment of extreme curiosity towards something worthy of such.

To hurt other ppl near in my irl

The first thing that pops into my head is the vastness of the universe and that eventually our world will not be here.

that no one actually likes me and everyone simply tolerates my presence but really wouldn't care if they just never saw me again. 

Fear of failure, and being left alone.

Heights....especially without rails or barriers

My biggest fear is to die alone.  I would rather know someone was nearby that loved me. Not be in a car crash and die in a ditch alone. 

To be forgotten and not being able to create the connections and ideas which makes one worthy of being remembered.

Dying and leaving my husband behind, alone. 

I don't care so much about dying in and of itself... or even dying alone. But the thought of leaving him behind to grieve kills me in unspeakable ways. 

Being unwanted. Feeling like people just tolerate you because they have too and when you're not around they're making fun of you or talking badly about you. Or even worse,  feeling like if you just disappeared no one would even notice you were gone because they never wanted you around to begin with, so what do they care if you just disappear? 

Fear is a horrible thing. 

...not making a difference, not helping enough, not having patience or becoming too self absorbed. 

Terrorists

Being alone in my later years.  It has always been my fear.  Mostly because I am afraid of not being able to take of the house, the yard,  and myself.

My biggest fear hands down is the loss of someone close to me, not just a friend or family, but someone really close to me.

I still fight with issues concerning death.
