Dat Beez Kneez! Vol. 1 (OVO presentation) Started by: Boogie- on Mar 19, '18 22:47

Less than 72 hours ago the organized crime world took a few hits.

First on tonight's agenda: The fall of Egypt.

Don Kleopatra of Chicago was gunned down in cold blood at 03:15. Upon visiting the Don's funeral it's safe to say it was also unexpected. Did the forever reviving Rogue get tired of the continuous assault? Was it a stray bullet? Or was it an inside job? The world may never know. I saddled up and had a conversation with the newest leader of Chicago. This is what was taken away:

Baloo - The FBN and their merry band of water pistol shooters managed to strike down one of the game's most fearsome mobsters.  For all the shots that they fire and miss they had to connect on the one that would bring the city of Chicago to its knees. We are rebuilding ferociously following Kleopatra's untimely death and we'll come back stronger than ever.  May she rest in peace.  Her son is here and working his way through the ranks.

On March 18th at 23:48 the ever so charismatic, ambitious but for whatever reason super Irish brand of Cheerios was also shot dead. Found in the backseat of a CL's car the funeral was done with his face covered. We went to Cheerios' kin, whose name will remain anonymous, and asked why he thought his father was gunned down. Here are the results:

The fear that Insomnia could 'easily kill all Seattle' forced my CLs decision to wack me. I knew it was coming, I even flew to my CL knowing what he was going to do.

Insomnia accused me of hitlist PENO1 (which I didn't), so someone (probably Insomnia) hitlist me for 10 mill. Insomnia came into lounge and asked 'someone go take both of those hits'. People then questioned whether this was a verbal Auth to wack me. He then responded with something like 'I thought I did give auth'. Someone failed a wack on me, I bought off hitlist but obviously behind the scenes he was still fighting to have me wacked.

Basically, everyone is too scared of Insomnia to argue against his decisions or question his logic. 'Why did he strongly suspect me of hitlisting PENO1?' sure I didn't like PENO1 for all I know PENO1 had hitlisting himself in this attempt get me wacked. PENO1 was convincing my CL that it was me who did it, he sent my CL screenshots of my comments on lounge which were way out of context. My CL agreed that when I provided the screenshots of the full context, it was much less incriminating.

Basically someone needs to wack insomnia.

Safe to say there's no love lost. However, Godfather Insomnia was spotted at Cheerios' funeral saying these exact words:

I'm not sure why you ended up here but I enjoyed what you brought to our world and the coffee shops. I hope to see your son return one day.

Rest in peace Cheerios.

What a plot twist!

The city of Detroit has long been labeled haunted. It seems the moment you set up in that city you're on a quicker countdown than most leaders. Today we forcefully bumped into a few residents of DT to ask their take on the Land of the Cursed:

Are you nervous about your crew being in DT? After all, it is haunted.

Ramone - Nah I don't get scared. Plus my physique should scare ghosts away.

@Caspian - With Remy in charge nahh man we good

@Chingachgook - To be honest I don't think it's DT that is the problem. This is my 4th Family in this life now.... I am cursed I tell thy

@Death_ - Not nervous at all. I'm death after all

Moving on.

Handsome. Endless sex appeal. The great, the self-proclaimed "King of the Streets", Boogie- hosted a worldwide competition. The objective of the game? Sticking your dirty hands into the rich pockets of others! How lovely. The game finished over 24 hours ago and the prize winners were tallied up. We caught up with one of the bad boys of L.A & CEO of OVO Entertainment:

The game didn't go as planned. I thought there would be much more competitors but I guess the art of pick pocketing is no longer a fun activity. There are pages in my journal written by my late father describing how much of a joy it was to run into someone's pocket, only to flee the city and eventually get mailed how much of an asshole he was. It was only the first round and we'll be gearing up to give it another go.

All victors will remain anonymous unless they've decided to broadcast their victory. All prizes will be handed out randomly throughout the day.

I'm excited for the upcoming days. Here at OVO we've been working hard on many things. Next up is the interview of perhaps the most hated or beloved mafioso of our current time: Insomnia. Coming soon to a theater near you. We have another worldwide competition that should be appreciated by all CLs. We'll call it "Money in the Bank". Details on that will be coming soon.

We'll now be taking this time to close out the first edition of DatBeezKneez by promoting an up and coming business in Detroit owned by Olivia:

The Muscle Lounge

“The Godfather”

A drink you simply can’t refuse, this is a mixed drink made of Scotch whisky and amaretto. Typically, the drink is served on the rocks in an old-fashioned glass.

"The Sexy Serana"

What could be sexier than the leader of Detroit? How about a cocktail containing vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice and cranberry juice?

"The Ramone"

The strongest drink on the menu, this drink contains 100 per cent alcohol, with no mixers. Gin, vodka, absinthe, brandy and blackberry liquor are mixed together in equal parts for a dastardly drink that will pack a punch.

"Roman's Justice"

This unique combination of Kahlúa and Tequila Blanco creates an extra dimension that only this drink can pull off. More on the darker side, Roman's Justice skips all the fruity flavors commonly found in tequila drinks, opting for another great flavor pairing, coffee.

"The Mind Eraser"

Need to forget a particularly dreadful day? This mix of rum, absinthe and falernum will do the trick!

"Sleepin' With the Fishes"

One of these and you probably won't wake up for a while. This drink is made with vodka, tequila, light rum, triple sec, gin, and a splash of cola.

Francis read along as the sun set on the Vegas skyline. From day, to an ever fluorescent night. The city never slept. Partly due to The Ivory Tower, which was busy turning bad situations good. Taking from the scum and giving to the needy. Sometimes money was better in another pocket. Theirs.

The priest flicked over the pages of the newsletter as he relaxed, on a break at Joe's Cup.

"Informative." He said to himself as he raised a cup of joe to take a sip.

He made sure to grab a stack of Vol. 1 to make available at the Vegas coffee house as soon as it was released. Many were complaining there weren't official gossip or truth columns about the everyday happenings in the underworld. A good response to the protest, he mused, as the smell of the long macchiato tempted his hand for another taste.

TM wanders the streets, looking for anything that may amuse him. His thoughts still iffy about attending the Fun Fair in Las Vegas..Trying to make up his mind weather or not a corn dog and a ride was worth the flight his ears are perked up to the calls of what he can only assume could be a young man in the distance. The words faint bit the mentions of some sort of informative reading material. For the most part it catching his attention as he decides to take one of the young lad. Compensating Boogie-'s young laborer with a couple of dollars he sets of to find a quite place to give it a read. After taking the time to access the information promptly he cant help but smirk, calling over his Bodyguard Johnny to send Boogie- a word on his latest feats of journalism.

"Really enjoyed the read. So much so that I expect a delivery of the next issue at each of my businesses...More people we have enjoying a nice read the better I say. Keep up the excellent effort my friend. And I am sure as the word gets out in time others will enjoy it as-well. Best of fortunes on the next issue to which I am already excitedly waiting in anticipation. "
