With all due respect to the fallen DT Captains, I've always known Ragnarok to be a very level-headed and Honorable man with a big heart and a lot of patience. Admittedly this is just the perception of an outsider looking in, but I doubt Ragnarok took any pleasure in taking action against leaders from his own city.

Be that as it may, recent wars have changed the landscape of This Thing of Ours drastically. In DT's case, Ragnarok inherited a city and two captaincies, one of which was larger than his own crew, and according to the daughter of Lauren, had grown to be stronger than his. If a city leader begins to feel threatened by members of his own regime and catches a whif of a coup heading his way, eliminating that threat is certainly not an act of a paranoid man but rather an intelligent one. To Godfather Roman's point, it was Evangeline who built DT and it could be assumed that LaMotta and Lauren's loyalties were to her.

If the fallen DT Captains felt no loyalty to Ragnarok that is understandable given the circumstances, however it makes Ragnarok's decision to remove them from power just as understandable for the very same reasons.

My sympathies to those that were killed and best of luck to you Ragnarok.

Ever since the unfortunate death of Evangeline, it has seemed to most, well... those outside of Detroit of course, that Ragnarok is the rightful leader. As Underdog pointed out, it was her wishes that Ragnarok take over after her death, and it's been that way since then. If people would remember back a bit, there's been plenty of times when the "leader" of a city was actually "ranked" BENEATH the other leaders of that city, yet out of respect and maybe a little fear, they did what they were told.

From the previous statements made by Ragnarok, it's quite obvious that this respect/fear wasn't in place. Back an animal into its cage, and it will attack. Ragnarok didn't like the way things were going, and he took action to preserve his familys and his own life. I don't want to speak for everyone, but if you were in his position, and had a brain, you would've tried to do the same thing. I wish you the best of luck in your further ventures, Ragnarok. Our lines have gone back a long time, and as always, you've made another smart move.

I really hate putting my two cents into situations, but i fell obligated. It was obvously a power move. Any way you want to phrase it or how much sugar you poor on it, it was a power move.  It was a smart move in my book, all be it risky. Now he has to worry about one of the families in DT taking him out, out of revenge or because he set a president of rogueing to improve his postion in the city. That it be viewed as acceptable to other DT crews to attempt the same. Now he will also have to worry about people shooting at him from DT crews and DT crews will have to worry about becoming too powerful and being green lighted. Basically i think all this accomplished is fostering a element of distrust and fear in the great city of DT. It should be interesting in the next week or two to see the shoot outs in DT. Agian let me say, i believe it was a good power play, but it'll probably most likely have repricussions. Only time will tell.

I can assure you Bic.  There won't be any "shoot outs" within the city of Detroit between the Crew Leaders or it's members.  I can honestly say, I have no fear that Ragnarok will "Green Light" me for continuing to achieve rank and power.  I am after all doing this for him and the city of Detroit.  I know he's in charge of this city and I am happy to follow his orders where ever they lead.

Not for nothing Bic, but I think you may be confused as to what constitures as roguing. Ragnarok is the head of the DT crime organization. He removed the leaders below him in that hierarchy. That is not a rogue-move, my Friend.

IM sorry if i have offended anyone. and im certianly not telling anyone how to run their city. i just want to make that clear. I just wanted to share my opinion. There maybe other former DT members in DT crews right now who's loyalty lay elsewhere though. I just wanted to state that they may have been upset with there leaders executed with new leaders installed. rogueing after all is quit common these days and people may have or may not have been upset with the rescent events in DT. I have faith that the great leaders of DT will do all they can to police themselves to prevent such actions. Me like other mobsters though are interested in how everything will pan out. I guess thats what i was saying, it just brought a new element of excitement to the city. Kudos agian to RAG for the power play. I forsee good things for the city. I just hope no one decides there life isnt worth living anymore and goes after the esteamed leaders of DT.
