The days since Syndicate had taken Godfather Chairman of Philadelphia were passing in a blur. Everything had been going smoothly thus far, and Henri was quite keen on keeping things that way. The city was steadily making money and Henri knew that their members were growing closer and closer as the days went on. He was often in correspondence with many of the Philadelphia mobsters and had received some feedback that he should run a competition of sorts. Taking the information to Adorkable, James_Coonan, Joe_Ligambi, Syndicate, and Mazikeen, they had all sat down to sort something out. After their meeting, Henri took a walk to the middle of a crowded market-place, carrying a stack of posters. Humming to himself, he pinned up the posters on every available surface; the barren walls of a recently foreclosed bakery, telephone poles, he even managed to tack one onto an old woman's back - unbeknownst to her. Henri giggled and noticed a group of people approaching him. Seeing a few familiar faces from the criminal underworld, Henri held up one of his posters and began to yell like a madman. "EXTREEE-EXTREEE READ ALL ABOUT IT!"
Noting that people had long since been done reading his poster, Henri cleared his throat and spoke to those who were still lingering. "Just to clarify on any potential questions: for everything except the Regal Roast, please submit your entries in the form of MobMail sent to HenriDucard - including the subject of which competition it is you're submitting to. Please also ensure to submit your PickPocket totals in the form of a ->PICTURE<-. If anything is unclear, don't hesitate to send me a mail!" Henri took a long sip from his flask before adding on, "Oh yeah, I almost forgot. The end of Philly Fun Week will culminate in a spree of locking down Philadelphia's Jail for hours on end. Time to be determined and announced at this marker-place, though it will undoubtedly be sometime Sunday Afternoon/Evening, April 14th." |

Son was in the market when he heard voice that he knows very well, Son walked toward that voice, he saw HenriDucard in the middle of the market speaking about something fun with some of Philadelphia mobsters. Son walked toward HenriDucard and took one of the posters in his hand and listened to him as he is saying "You should take a place in this fun week, don't let it go away without trying one of these competitions". Son was happy for this events to be held in Philadelphia "Sure I will, I will mail you soon". Son walked away thinking of what of these events he should be part of. |

The first few days of Philly Fun Week were ones that passed by rather uneventfully for Henri, having only received a handful of jokes, a single drink recipe, and a few mails inquiring about the PickPocketPalooza. Henri wondered whether the word had not been spread around enough, or if people were just truly this unimaginative. Hell, had someone offered him free cash to simply mail them a joke, Henri would have been all over it. Henri walked up to the spot where he'd originally posted his flyers and waited until a few people were standing around before speaking. "For those interested, yes, all of your PickPockets will count in the PickPocketPalooza - even those done on our flat-footed associates known as Corrupt Agents." |

"Just a quick reminder that all PickPockets until 23:59 tonight will count towards the PickPocket competition(s). Folks will have until 23:59 Monday April 16th to submit their lists/totals and payments will be doled out for those particular competitions very shortly thereafter. Payouts for the other competitions will be doled out Sunday evening. Which is also when we'll be hosting a spree of lockdowns in the great city of Philadelphia - sometime around 00:00!" |

"First place for Henri's Humor goes to Aidan_OConnor. His entry? 'What did the boy with no arms or legs get for Christmas? ... No one knows, he hasn't opened his presents yet.' " Henri paused for a moment, handing the young man his million dollars while trying to keep a straight face. It was a truly horrible joke, but for some reason it made Henri chuckle more than any other that had come through his mailbox. "As we had zero entries in the cake design competition, and no souls brave enough to dare the Regal Roast, we'll move right on to the results of the mix'n'match drink contest. First place and the prize of an Instant Named BodyGuard goes to Olivia!" Henri pulled out a note and re-read her submission.
"I plan to try that sometime this summer, that's for sure. Second place goes to Aidan_OConnor! This one we'll keep a secret, though I'm sure for the right price he'd be willing to share it with you!" Henri handed out the prizes and reminded everyone, "Submissions for the PickPocket competitions are due by 23:59 tomorrow evening." |

Henri was fast asleep, having spent many hours of the night working on one his newest inventions. As the ambient sounds outside of his room increased to a dull roar, Henri awoke feeling more refreshed than he had in a long time. Fumbling through his paperwork he came across the bank transactions pertaining to the PickPocket competition he had recently orchestrated. Scratching his head slightly as he slowly sipped his coffee, Henri chuckled - he had forgotten to publicly announce the final results! Henri quickly finished his coffee and scrambled around for some clothing. Smacking his lips together and setting his mug in the sink, Henri exited his room within the HQ and made his way into the Streets. It seemed Spring had finally decided to start. The weather having been that of Winter lately, Henri was all too glad to see the sun shining stupendously in the sky. Younger kids who weren't old enough to be in school could be seen playing kickball off in one of the vacant lots, and Henri noticed multiple elderly couples walking the sidewalks, enjoying the nice day. Approaching the area that he'd previously made announcements in regards to Philly Fun Week, Henri made a horrendous screeching sound loud enough to capture anyone's attention that happened to be within a three block radius. "My apologies for that noise there, think I got some pollen in my throat..." Henri coughed, lightly, twice, just to emphasize. "And also my apologies for the extreme delay in getting these results out! Everyone ready? Good great GRAND! Coming in 3rd place with 51 PickPockets and a grand total of $735 stolen was the belated Olivia. Coming in 2nd place with a total of 95 PickPockets and a healthy $164,285 stolen would be Paul-Travotti!" "And finally, coming in 1st place(I heard he always comes first...).... Qahnaarin! His totals? Merely three more PickPockets than Paul, for a total of 98 PickPockets - Qahnaarin also blew the competition out of the water with his grand total of acquired money reaching $244,738! What a thief! Payouts have long since been distributed and thank you all for your participation in these events." |
