Outside of Johnny Ace Memorial Stadium, a small crowd of reporters stand around an empty podium patiently. After a few moments, Jay_Sanity steps out of the building and up to the podium amidst a barrage of loud questions from the aforementioned reporters. With a raise of his right hand, the reporters quiet down and listen, pencil and pads ready to record every word.

"Good afternoon folks, I'm here to announce the official start of the Philadelphia Premier League Pre-Season. The  inaugural match up will be between two of the most impressive teams in the bunch so far, Atlantic FC and Wolf Pack FC. With that, the league will officially be starting."

He looks down at some paper work and clears his throat before resuming.

"The first season of the Philadelphia Premier League will consist of six of the best amateur teams in the area:

Wolf Pack FC

Atlantic FC

Bella Vista All Stars

Philadelphia Raiders

Old City Brawlers

Real Whirlwinds.

These six squads have earned the right to be here by being the best of the best in various leagues around the state and are all looking to make a good impression in the pre-season. Impression for who, you might ask? Well to those that are interested in purchasing and financing one of their teams."

One of the reporters raises their hand and Jay nods in approval to them

"Are there any requirements to buying a team?"

Jay nods and smiles

"Well first and foremost, you'll need to have money."

He pauses as some of the reporters share a laugh.

"But in all honesty, there are a few requirements. Anyone interested in purchasing a team must be a current resident of Philadelphia and must prove that they have a steady income (Must be apart of a crew). At the end of the Pre-Season, the bids for teams will start. Once all the teams have either been picked up or placed under finance of the league, the regular season will commence. Anyway, today we are getting ready to start up the pre-season, so why don't we take a look at the schedule. Gentlemen if you would."

He snaps his fingers and several men move a large board with the pre-season schedule on it.

"As you can see, there are a few intense match ups in the pre-season. As I said before, Atlantic FC an Wolf Pack FC will be kicking things off. Those two came out of the same amateur league and will be looking to make a statement out of the other early on. Real Whirlwinds used to be a team out of New York, but transferred hear only a few months ago. It will be an exciting season and I just can't wait to get started!"

With that, he gathers his paperwork and slides it into a manila folder. The reporters bark out more questions but he smiles and shakes his head before turning and heading back towards the entrance to the stadium.
