Serana sat behind her desk dealing with some stupid paperwork about zoning for various businesses her and her family were starting to put together to help revitalize Detroit's economy. As she was signing a few of the more frustrating documents, one of her men walked in with his head down, clearly trying to avoid eye contact. Without looking up, Serana spoke "Well what are you waiting for? Did you collect everything?" The man, still terrified, squeaked his response "Um n-n-no I wasn't able to ma'am." Serana raised her head slightly, looking up at him "No? What do you mean no? They know the drill, they pay us money and they get to run their little shops in my city. Now get over here and explain to me how you screwed up this simple little arrangement we had!" The man shuffled nervously over to Serana as ordered, "Well you see Ser- I mean ma'am um with @Ramone and his muscle leaving and then resources going towards @Flash-fire setting up they think they can skimp on payments especially cause...um cause." Serana, starting to get really mad, stood up, leaned over her desk and exploded "BECAUSE WHAT DAVID?!?!" David, looking down again, said in a barely audible voice "Because they don't think they should have to pay a woman for protection or need a woman's permission to run businesses....." There was silence after that last statement before Serana calmly started to put away the papers she was working on away before pulling out her journal with her contacts. When she spoke next, she sounded her happy calm self but the undertone and words she spoke was pure hatred "Well if they don't think they need my protection or my permission to operate, we're going to find out how they feel about my wrath won't we David." Before David could respond she pulled out her gun and shot the messenger clean through the head. Still, she had a plan in mind but before anything could be finalized there was a call she had to make. She walked over to her phone and dialed the number, waiting for the other side to pick up "Oh hey @Olivia, I was wondering if we could have a girls night and you could help me with something......." |

“No no no no. Take those dumbbells out of here!” Olivia shooed the bodyguard away, exceedingly annoyed at how gym equipment seemed to be invading every inch of their headquarters. Her office space was off limits, or so she thought she had made clear, but here they were, sitting on the floor, probably left behind by Ramone or Ash. The place smelled too, she wondered what had happened to the cleaning service she’d lined up to come out weekly. With only a handful of other women in their family, Olivia found it was an uphill battle not to let the men and their gym obsession take over. When she’d finally gotten her office cleaned up and lit a candle to help fight the smell, she took a seat at her desk to follow up on the cleaning service. She wanted them back out right away, to clean up the gym and make sure the towels and other items were getting washed regularly. The last thing they needed was the stench of sweaty men filling the place constantly. Just as she was done taking care of that problem, her phone rang. Picking up, she was pleasantly surprised to hear Don Serana’s voice on the other end, asking her to help with a little something. “Of course, I’d do anything to help you, dear. And a girl’s night sounds like an excellent idea. How about I meet you over at your headquarters in about an hour?” This would give Olivia enough time to run home and change into something a little more appropriate for a girl’s night. She had her men drive since it seemed safer than driving herself as she wasn’t sure yet what they would be doing. She arrived just a few minutes early, which was in her mind the perfect timing, and knocked on the front door. |

Serana's people had just finished cleaning up the mess of David's unfortunate “accident” when she heard a knock on the door. Grinning, she happily skipped over to open it and saw her dear friend Olivia there. "Oh, thank you so much for coming my dear, I'm so sorry for the mess. One of our employees had to be um…let go. Please, come have a seat so we can get to business." Serana snapped her fingers and one of her men pulled up a chair and they both sat down. They were brought wine and then left alone to discuss private matters. "So apparently all the little scum around here don't think they have to keep paying tributes up because they don't like seeing a woman at the top. I figured as a fellow lady trying to make their way to the top you'd take some issue with this as well. What do you say we finish this bottle of wine and go down there and make an example of these poor bastards? I think it's about time people showed us some damn respect, wouldn't you agree?" Serana tilted her glass towards Olivia, toasting her before drinking it and pouring another. |

When Olivia arrived at the headquarters of the lower-class brats, she was greeted by none other than Don Serana herself. She observed a few men who seemed to be cleaning up some blood splatter, and Serana explained that there had been a firing just a few moments ago. Olivia understood well what that meant so she simply shrugged it off, taking the seat offered to her by one of her dearest friends. The wine was quickly brought out and Olivia sipped at her glass quietly while the other woman explained why she had called her over here. Nothing boiled her blood more than the thought of misogynistic men thinking that women couldn’t be strong leaders of the underground. After all, between Don Serana here in DT, Don HyacinthBucket in Chicago and Godmother Bubbles in New York, well, how could anyone doubt the strength of their gender? “Of course, I agree. How dare these low lives and nobodies think they can withhold money from you just because you’re a woman? This is your city and they need to learn that. We’ll make them pay.” She lifted her wine glass to tap gently against Serana’s taking a large gulp and nodding. “Let’s go show those assholes what a woman can really do.” |

Bubbles was out and about taking care of some Mayhem business. This time she found herself in the wonderful city of Detroit. The once baron city now flourished with business and with flourishing business came more Mayhem. She quite liked Detroit though, there were a bunch of people here she just adored. Most of which she got to know while they were living in New York, which seemed forever ago now. Finishing up the list for today, Bubbles still had quite a bit of time to waste and what better way to do a surprise drop in into Serana's headquarters. She hailed a cab and had the driver take her right to the front door. Reaching in her bag she took out some money and paid the man. Stepping out of the cab she took in a deep breath of the kind of fresh air. It was as fresh as it was going to be in Downtown Detroit. Making her way to the door she just let herself in. What's the point of a surprise visit if you're going to announce yourself? She tiptoed through the headquarter hushing people as she scampered by. All the people in the headquarter knew who she was, so they carried on with their normal business. It only took her a couple moments before standing outside of her office. She could hear that she in the middle of a conversation and the other voice sounded quite familiar as well. A two for one situation, time to scare some ladies. Bubbles burst through the door and screamed at the top of her lungs. "SERANA!!!!!!!!!!!" The look on her face was priceless. Olivia's wine glass went flying in the air as a bit of the wine hit the ceiling. Bubbles instantly began laughing hysterically, tears running down her cheek hysterically. |
