The car pulled up to the place that Tupac was given directions too. A neon sign hung above the building that simply said "442" to let them know they had arrived at the right place. Tupac was given directions to meet someone here at this club in Las Vegas. He wasn't alone he had his small crew with him all on this trip. Frank was driving while Jerome and Daniel rode in the back. They had made the trip insisting on protecting Tupac from potential dangers that he ran into the last time he was in this area.

"Is this it?" Frank asked from the drivers side of the car. He was looking all around the surrounding area.

The club's exterior was brightly lit as it was around the strip but not exactly on it. It wasn't in too suspicious an area but there was a somewhat ominous feel about it. Maybe that could be the lack of details everyone in the car had about the place. Tupac had only been given directions on how to get there from the strip. He wasn't even given an exact address but based on what he was told he knew it when he saw it.

"Yeah this the spot right here. The 442, supposed to be a strip joint." Tupac replied.

Frank still looked uneasy from his seat behind the wheel. The other two in the back didn't look like it mattered to them one way or the other. They usually didn't overthink things like Frank did but they were a bit more carefree than usual, especially when they heard about it being a gentlemen's club.

Tupac was the first one out the car, followed by Daniel and Jerome. Frank was the last one to get out of the car with a resigned sigh. He was on edge and would probably remain so until they had left the city knowing that Tupac was shot the last time he was here. Tupac approached the entrance with his usual swagger and confidence that he brought everywhere. He didn't pay much attention to the muscle bound guy who was by the front door who was more than likely the bouncer for this place.

He stared Tupac and crew down until they were no longer in his line of sight. The only one who seemed phased by this was Frank but he wasn't too bothered once they had gotten into the club with no problems. Funny enough that was when something else popped up. The club wasn't filled with regular patrons or other people looking to entertain themselves by watching half naked women dance around. No, the place was filled with thuggish looking men as far as the eye could see and funnily enough they all seemed to look like they either knew or knew of each other. Problem with that was when the four men they didn't know entered they suddenly became the center of attention.

All eyes in the club were on them besides the women who were entertaining their customers and even a few of them looked over curiously at the new comers. Tupac was now very weary as his hands were now behind his back and near his waistband, ready to pull out his gun at a moments notice. He was also looking over to Frank very frequently who also was very aware of the situation they were now in. Out numbered and out gunned in territory that wasn't their own.

The tension in the air was getting thicker by the minute. That was until it was broken completely by the other two in Tupac's entourage.

"Damn! Ayo Pac, how come we ain't been to a place with fine women like this back home?!" Daniel asked loudly. He was completely taken by the women who were dancing on the stages and wasn't paying the situation at hand much mind at all.

It helped to put everyone at ease as most of the people staring at Tupac and company went back to doing what they were doing. Tupac looked at Frank and after exchanging a tense look, Tupac let some of the tension out of himself by chuckling at their friend while Frank just simply shook his head. Tupac then looked to his oldest friend.

"Alright let's find this dude and get this show on the road." Tupac said to him before looking around seeing if he could find out where the man he was here to meet would be.

His eyes were drawn to a roped off area that led to some stairs and what looked like a private area. A bit further up in that area was a closed door that looked like it could've been an office. That wasn't what grabbed his attention, there was a big man sitting up in the private area wearing a sweater and puffing on a cigar.  He seemed to be looking directly at Tupac and Frank as he had two women sitting on either side of him and a guy leaning over whispering something in his ear. He gave the man a nod and the man left the area and made his way down to the area Tupac and Frank were standing.

Once he got to where the two men were standing he spent almost a minute just starring Tupac and Frank down and sizing them up. Tupac and Frank did the same in return to this man. After a few moments of this the man finally spoke.

"Keith told me to bring you up he only wants to speak to Tupac but he figured you'd wanna bring your boy with you too." The man finally said.

Frank and Tupac shared a look before Tupac shrugged and looked at the man who was sent down to come and get them. "Lead the way then homie." Tupac said waiting for the man to start walking to take them up to the man they he was there to meet.

It took them a little bit to get up the stairs to the man himself. He was a heavy set African-American man who was enjoying himself and the company around him. There were several more thuggish looking men sitting around the area drinking from bottles of champagne and smoking cigars while others were smoking marijuana. Usually this was the kind of party Tupac would enjoy, but he had to admit he was too curious to find out what this man wanted.

He had to be a man of some status considering his state of dress, the jewelry he was wearing and the fact that he pretty much had his whole crew here in this club and the women were all catering to him trying to get all the money they can from these people. The man noticed him immediately when he came to stand in front of him. He stood up and took another puff of his cigar.

"Mr. Tupac, live and in the flesh. I heard the stories about how you handled yourself in that hotel shootout here a little while ago. Walked away with only a shot to the shoulder and bodied a few others in a seemingly hopeless situation. You gotta excuse me for wanting to meet the man I heard was able to handle himself so well in such a situation."

Tupac shook the man's hand and took another look around him as he noticed everyone in the private area was currently looking at him. "Well shit, a dude can respect how you livin' homie. And those stories were legit. I never got to hear who you were though. Ya mans here said your name was Keith?" Tupac inquired.

The man gave him a nod. "That's right. Keith King. Homies just call me Keith though. It's no sweat that you haven't heard too much about me. That's by design. Didn't wanna come out and make too much noise until the time was right. That time is now. Was thinking of talkin' to you about that which is why I called you here to my club." Keith informed him looking pleased with himself.

"Wait, this is your club? As in you own it?!" Tupac asked surprised.

Keith gave a slight chuckle and a smirk spread on his face. "Something like that." Keith then looked at Frank for the first time and gave him a nod before turning his attention back to Tupac. "This is your man who got your back this time around huh? Glad to hear you ain't rolling around by yourself. But I was actually planning on hollerin' at you alone if you don't mind." Keith gave a look to the people sitting around in the lounge and jerked his head indicating that he wanted them to leave.

They wasted no time getting up and heading down back to the common area. Tupac saw this and nodded then he turned to Frank. "Go head Frankie, I'll handle this here and get with you in a minute. Make sure Daniel and J don't get taken for all their money down there."

Frank gave Tupac a long look and then gave a shorter one to Keith before reluctantly turning and heading down to the common area where he could keep an eye on them from farther away. Keith made his way back to where he was sitting before and took a rolled up blunt that hadn't been touched yet and offered it to Tupac. Tupac sat across from the man and took the blunt from his hand and placed it in his mouth. Keith then offered a lighter. Tupac took it and lit up the blunt and took a long drag.

"That's good shit right there Keith. So what's up with it? Why'd you wanna have this meetin'? Tupac asked the man taking another shorter drag off the blunt.

Keith puffed away at his cigar before responding. "Straight to business huh? I like that. Like I said I heard the stories about a man who shot his way outta a tight situation here in Vegas not too long ago. When that same man was putting out feelers in Vegas to see if he can find the crew who he'd just lit up of course I heard about it. Now if my assumption is correct, you was looking to take over Corvus' drug operation right. The two of you came from The Ivory Tower and he had some shit set up here in Vegas that you was lookin' to take over after his death?" Keith inquired.

"That's right, Corvus was my homie. He got gunned down though when the Tower got hit. Before that he was tellin' me about his shit he had set up out here. He was thinkin' about expandin' it and I was gonna help him. I figured no better way to pay tribute to em than to keep our word and expand it for him but when I came to scope it out some other mutha fuckas was runnin' shop" Tupac answered.

Keith was nodding as he was taking in the story and continuing to puff away at the cigar from time to time.

"Right. Didn't even wait til your boy's body got cold before they was trying to take over and change shit with his op. Truth is though Pac, your boy was sitting on a gold mine and he ain't even know it. The connects who was working in on the drug shit with him are some serious players across the border bringing in good shit. They was just waiting for that situation here to show more stability before they started filtering more volume through your boy. A lot of money to be earned there homie. I can help you out with that." Keith responded. He took a break to sip on a glass of champagne before going back to his cigar and continuing updating Tupac on the information he had.

"You see all these dudes around here. They all work for me, and they ain't even half the man power I have. We real deep here in Vegas but this ain't even the home of our operations. I'm from LA originally, same as you. Grew up in Cali on some of the roughest streets over there and made it. Came up through the gangs until I got the opportunity to start my own little thing. We ain't as big as the other operations who run the city and shit, but we ain't no push over little clique neither." Keith informed him.

Tupac could definitely believe him. By taking a look around he seen all the men who were here who would move whenever this man Keith told them to move. The man also knew what he was talking about by the sound of it as well. Tupac was wary of him though. This man was offering to help him get hold of the operation he initially came here for. Tupac knew he wanted a piece but still he seemed like he could've handled this on his own.

"So what's in it for you then? And why you reach out to me? You sound like you could've handled all this whenever you want." Tupac questioned.

"Simple, a lot of dudes work for me but none of them have the heart that you do. Also none of them have that kinda ambition and loyalty that you do neither. I need someone to work with that I can trust. A real go getter but also a dude I know won't stab his homies in the back first chance he gets. But that ain't all. I didn't come with just my hand extended looking for you help. I also came bearing gifts and I don't mean just the weed, drinks, and pussy you and you're boys can drown yourselves in tonight." Keith said and reached into his pocket pulling out a slip of folded paper and handing it to Tupac.

Tupac put the blunt he'd been smoking out in the ashtray and accepted the piece of paper. He opened it and looked at it. It was an address. He read it a few times before looking back at the man who handed it to him.

"The fuck is this? Another mystery meeting spot?" Tupac asked sarcastically.

Keith gave a little chuckle "Nah homie nothing like that. Malcolm Greer. That's the name of the dude who got away from your little shootout you had the last time you were in town. That address there is where he stay. You might wanna go holla at him when you get the chance. Last time I checked he was trying to find you in LA. When he got word you moved again he sent his dudes to just sit on your momma's house and catch you eventually when you go see her. If you take too long, no telling what the mother fucker might end up doin'." Keith said sitting back and taking a drag from the cigar.

All Tupac could see was red at that bit of information. This person had the nerve to have people waiting outside of his mother's house on him potentially putting his mother in danger? He knew that's how some of the more seedy people operated but it was still enough to greatly piss him off. He took another look at the slip of paper before putting it in his pocket. He then jumped out his seat and lost his battle with his own self control, as he knocked one of the glasses holding champagne in it into the wall.

"Mutha fuckas got the nerve to sit people on my mom's house?!" He yelled out. "Alright I got somethin' for his ass." He said in a lower tone.

He then made his way out of the lounge and down the stairs headed toward Frank who was moving to meet him at the bottom of the stairs.

"Get Daniel and Jay we outta here. Got some shit to take care of." Tupac said as he didn't slow down at all and didn't care about the eyes on him at all. He had tunnel vision on what he was gonna do next and that was it as he made his way straight for the exit.

"So what's going on Pac? You gonna tell us why we had to rush outta there so fast and what got you so fired up?" Frank asked sitting beside Tupac in the car they'd been driving around in now. This time he was in the passenger side seat while Tupac was driving.

"Yeah why'd you yank us outta there so fast? Right when shit was gettin' good." Daniel chimed in from the back.

"Would you shut the fuck up about those bitches in the club?! They ain't goin nowhere. Plus I thought y'all came out here to ride with me in case shit went down. Y'all could've stayed at the club and I could just handle this shit on my own." Tupac replied still very angry and running off of adrenaline.

Tupac had been hot since the end of that impromptu meeting between Keith and himself had led to him receiving information that one of the guys who had tried to take his life was now sending people to watch the house where his mother lived. That completely set him off and he didn't care anything about nothing else but taking care of this business.

"We're riding with you Pac, but you ain't really been tellin' us shit about what's been going on neither." Jerome spoke up from the back in response.

"Gotta hand it to em Pac, they got a point. You had us drive out here not knowing much of what's been going on, then you just rush outta the club without telling us anything. We've been ridin' this whole time without knowing much of nothing. Time to cut us some slack or something man." Frank appealed to Tupac.

He could tell his old friend was bothered but knowing him like he did he could tell that pushing too hard for information would only lead to Tupac pushing back. Tupac let out a slow breath to attempt to calm himself down some but he continued to keep his eyes on the road.

"Keith told me about the guys who took over the drug op that I was looking to expand the first time I came here. The one I let get away? That mutha fuckas been lookin' for me. Since he couldn't find me he's got people waitin' on my momma's house for the next time I go back home he can pop me then. He ain't thinkin' about nothin' else neither. I can't have some fuckin' dude havin' people on my mom's house just waitin' to shoot me or possibly fuckin' with her. Fuck that! So I gotta hit this dude now. If you ain't down with that you can get the fuck out right now." Tupac said.

His response was silence. Frank pulled out his gun and made sure it was ready to go while the other two in the back just kept quiet in the back. The rest of the ride to the address that Tupac had been given was silent. He pulled to a stop in front of an apartment building. There were two guys posted outside staring hard at the car that was carrying Tupac and his crew probably inspecting just who they were. That was all the evidence Tupac needed to know this was in fact the right place.

Tupac hopped out the car first before anybody else could stop him. Frank was panicking trying to go after him. Daniel and Jerome calmly got out the car ready to back their friend up. Tupac marched up to the two men who were standing outside the apartment and looking like the were ready to begin walking up to meet Tupac as well. Tupac then quickly reached into his waistband behind him and pulled the gun out and shot the man to his left in the knee. He then turned to the other man who was on his right and aimed the gun at him.

"Yo, you workin' for Malcolm? Malcolm Greer? That mutha fucka inside here? Huh? Where the fuck he at?!" Tupac questioned angrily not bothering to keep his voice down.

By this point Frank had caught up to Tupac and had his gun drawn and was aiming it at the man who was on the ground holding his knee. Daniel and Jerome also had caught up and had their guns aimed at the same person Tupac had his on. Seeing the man was hesitant to talk and knowing they didn't wanna be out here and exposed too long Jerome stepped forward.

"Answer the man's fuckin' question! Before you catch a bullet like your mans here!" He shouted.

The man was obviously shaken up. He looked to his own comrade laying on the floor groaning in pain over the bullet that was currently lodged in his knee.

"Y-yeah he's in here. H-he's on t-the second floor." The man stuttered out.

That was all Tupac needed to hear before he was on the move toward the front door which was left slightly opened. Tupac immediately begun making his way up the stairs toward the second floor. Frank was right behind him with Daniel following as well. Jerome stayed out in the front for a minute with his gun still pointed at the other man who hadn't been shot.

"Take your man to the hospital or some place to get him fixed. You don't wanna be around here when this shit goes down." Jerome informed the man.

He continued to look like he didn't know what to do whether to run or try and stay and fight. It didn't take him long before he was kneeling down beside his injured comrade trying to get them out of here. Jerome then stayed down near the front of the building to make sure they left and didn't turn around to try to get them from behind.

Tupac ran into a man on the stairs who was on his way downstairs and got into a struggle with him as he was trying to wrestle the gun out of Tupac's grasp. the two continued to struggle until Frank got a clear shot and shot the man in his leg as he then let go of Tupac's gun. Tupac then followed up to shoot him a couple times in his chest and the man went tumbling down the stairs. Tupac looked back and gave a nod of thanks to Frank for helping him out of that tough situation.

Tupac then continued up the stairs along with Daniel and Frank. They finally arrived at the door to the second floor apartment. Tupac's first reaction was to keep kicking the door until it opened. It took a joint effort between Daniel, Frank, and Tupac to finally break the door down. Frank held Tupac back from rushing right in and signaled that he would take it slow.

They went through the apartment slowly, room by room and found nothing. A little bit of money in some places and drugs in others but there was no Malcolm here.

"Damn! Where the fuck is he?!" Tupac angrily asked

"Back doors been left wide open he probably snuck out through here!" Daniel yelled out from the kitchen.

"Could be a trap though. Either that or he really did sneak out through the back." Frank said.

"Fuck!!" Tupac yelled and shot a few shots at the wall that led to a closet.

They heard some kinda noise from there and a groan. Tupac rushed over to the door and opened it to find out that there was someone in there hiding. They had been shot a couple times and were still breathing but badly wounded as the man was shot in the upper torso twice.

Tupac didn't really care about the man's well being, he just wanted answers. He began to shake the man who wasn't putting up much resistance or showing many signs of life other than the pained look on his face and the few groans he'd let out.

"Where the fuck did Malcolm go? Tell me!" Tupac demanded.

He continued to shake the man for a few until Frank stepped up and put a hand on Tupac's shoulder.

"Yo Pac, he's done man." Frank informed him.

Tupac let him go and was still pissed. Apparently he would have to accept and admit to the fact that the man he was here to kill snuck away. Tupac shook his head.

"Damn, someone take me to a phone. I gotta call Keith. Hope he can come up with somethin'. Let's get the fuck outta here." Tupac said with a resigned expression. He then made his way for the door to head back downstairs.
