I think you might have misunderstood the intention of the comp, here is a little more detail :) Right now you could take a screen shot of this very post... this webpage you are viewing right now. Imagine if you did this 5 years ago. 10 years ago. This page, has gone through many changes over the years. Use your imagination as to what MR would have looked like in 1996. Grab MS Paint, Photoshop, Gimp, whatever graphics program you have and create a fake MR screen shot of the any part of the game as how you picture it in 1996. |

Another take on 1996. We have the 90's thanks for such movies as Hackers and the Matrix. Both science fiction and cyber punk in style. Think neon greens, blues and pinks. ROBOTS! High tech, low life. I've always day dreamed of a neon noir MR. The 1930's doesn't give us a lot of options for tech. There's a robot rp waiting to be written! I'm looking at you Robotfromthefuture.

So I mistook the whole “30 years ago” as “1930”. In retrospect, that makes much more sense... stupid reading comprehension... |

Okay, so I feel bad that I did the totally wrong thing... so here is my entry that would most accurately represent my personal MR webpage experience in 1996. This one screen really encapsulated most of my internet usage... especially since it stayed like this for hours.
