Maid in Detroit Started by: Faith_Seed on May 07, '18 15:51

Faith stepped out onto the streets. The sun was shining and birds were singing. It was the prefect day. Faith said a small prayer to The Father to thank him for such a glorious day.

Today I come to the community with an exclusive piece. Everything I could gather, everything you wanted to know and maybe some things you never ever wanted to know and quite possible you may want to argue it is a big waste of time and why would I ever be so invested in Detroit's problems.

One may even ask it! Faith, why are you so invested in Detroit's problems? Why go through all the energy to track down Alice's daughter, question Rayden in the streets and seek out anyone with any tips about this story we all have been told? Simple. My city is now asking me to donate my money to Detroit. Anyone who has been contacted or encouraged to donate money to the Rayden cause is now involved in Detroit's troubles.

I did indeed send a telegram to Alice's daughter. I did indeed send out notice that I am looking for anyone with any information to contact me regarding this situation. I did indeed not mail Rayden directly. So much is already being said behind closed doors, why continue with that trend. Rayden started it in the streets, that's where it should continue.

Speaking of closed doors. Maids see a lot of closed doors. Thankfully, I've found a maid that had the privileged of over hearing a very interesting conversation between Rayden and Alice because a door was left cracked open. I won't be naming names and I can confidentially say that this maid has already left the country. I hope that adding this information discourages anyone from hunting down my sources. Though, for less confusion, lets call my source Erma.

I had received a tip that Erma was leaving town (Detroit) in fear of her life after what she had over heard. Fortunately for us, I was able to catch Erma just as she was entering into a cab to take her to the airport. I convinced the terrified woman to come have breakfast with me so we could discuss what she had over heard. I'd like to think she did it for the well being of our community, but it was probably the large amount of money I offered the previous maid.

We sat down in a cafe near the airport and Erma started her story. She was in the middle of her shift when she answered Miss Alice's door and there stood Miss Rayden. Erma let the Godfather in, down the hall to Miss Alice's office where she offered the Godfather a chair, a drink and let her know Miss Alice would arrive shortly. The visit hadn't been scheduled, but Erma had heard chatter that things were going on in the city.

Erma than left Miss Rayden in Miss Alice's office and stepped into a side room. Alice had confideded in Erma a little bit. She told Erma that she felt the city that had recently gave her the gift of having her own headquarters was turning on her. She had Erma record any conversations Alice had in her office. Erma turned on the recorder that was set up in the room off Miss Alice's office.

This is when Erma slipped me a tape. It was the tape recording of the conversation between Miss Rayden and Miss Alice. Erma reminded me again that she had a plan to catch and I gave her the money I promised. I took the tapes home and listened. Then I listened again and transcribed them onto a flyer.

After that I knew I had to speak with Alice's daughter. The recording that Erma did wasn't complete. I sent a short telegram to the last known address of Alice and hoped her daughter would receive it. A few hours later I was approached my a strange man who passed a phone number to me. I didn't know if it was related to the Alice case I was forming, but I had to try. I dialed the number and asked if I was speaking with Alice's daughter. The woman confirmed and we arranged to meet up in a discreet coffee shop on the outskirts of town.

This wasn't as easy as I make it seem. It had to convince Alice's daughter - lets call her Jane - that it was safe for Jane to leave wherever she was hiding out. I didn't understand the paranoia Jane felt until after I spoke with her and after she showed me letters between her mother and Serana, Rayden and the note that came to her residence after her mother died. A whisper to Jane of how her mother's actions would effect her life. How she would be blood lined because of what Jane's mother, Alice did.

The whisper Alice's daughter received.

*Alice's daughter will be referred to as Jane. This is not her real name. This has been put in place to respect her privacy. There are men and women out there that would like to kill Alice's daughter for the choices Alice made.

Faith: Jane, thank you for meeting with me today. I understand the whole situation is...tough. Can you tell me what started all of this?

Jane smiled weakly.

Jane: The Joker put a hit on another member of Detroit which is an obvious issue. The member from Detroit was hitlisted because a credit was stolen from someone while the Joker was giving free credits out to everybody. The Joker said that one was saved for someone to grab it real quick because they hadn't gotten any.

Faith: Okay, so The Joker hitlisted another Detroit member because that member stole a credit?

Jane: Yes. My mother, Alice, told Serana and Rayden to let her talk to him first. My mother and The Joker were on good standings. She had hoped to talk some reason into The Joker before things continued to further get out of hand. Alice was traveling across country to speak with The Joker, but before she could see him Rayden shot him. That's when his disgruntled next of kin put the first hit up on Rayden. That's when Alice was immediatley blamed for the situation, but I have conversations between my mother and Serana who wanted nothing to do with the sitaution even though she is Godfather Chairman of Detroit and responsible for everything that happens in Detroit.

Jane pulled a few letters from her purse, messages between GFC Serana and pushed them towards Faith.

Letters between Serana and Alice

Detroit is a hot mess.

A goddamn hot mess.

I could easily cook an egg on this hot mess it's so hot. Hot AF.

We've got Godfather Chairman of Detroit Serana telling Alice:

Serana: Nope, not on me. Not my district nor my crew. You and Rayden are the ones dealt with it.

Why be Godfather Chairman if you don't want to be responsible for the city your are responsible for?

We've got Godfather Rayden asking Alice:

Rayden: How would you feel about stepping down as a CL for the time being?

Rayden: You can even come be a hand for me and build to get auth once we get bigger.

Why would you auth someone (with all the doubts you have about them) for TEN DAYS and then ask them to step down but only set them up later again?

This isn't the first hot mess Detroit has found itself in the middle of. Does anyone remember Ramone? The king of physique? He made ladies swoon with just one look. Ramone a man that knew how to run a district. Ran a district well. Was killed. No reason given.

Now we have Rayden running that exact same district.....right into the grown. When Rayden is killed maybe Serana will stand up for her city. But probably not.

Faith smiled. She looked up into the sun and let it's warmth wash over her.

I would like to thank all the donations I have received. This piece would not have been possible without your donations! May the good father praise you!

I know Ramone didn't have issues like these.
