"Pretty eyes, pretty eyes, why can't I have pretty eyes.?" an eerie song flowed out of solitary, the guards shivered at the innocent tone, "Pretty eyes, pretty eyes, you have such pretty eyes." the patient continued her song, silently making her way to the door,
"Pretty eyes, pretty eyes, I want pretty eyes too." against his better judgement the guard on the left turned around, before jumping away yelling in fright.
Through the slit in the door he could see the sole occupant, it was a young woman, about early 30's. the woman had blood red hair that fell to her shoulders. Most of her face was covered by said hair, except for one of her eyes.If the guard was being honest, he preferred not seeing the empty sockets at all. This was Patient 2020,
"Pretty eyes, pretty eyes, I'll take your pretty eyes!" the tone shifted from it's innocent beginnings, to a more aggressive and violent as the red head banged on the iron door.
Across the asylum the warden sighed in exhaustion, another doctors resignation letter was on the desk. The office was sparsely furnished, with a desk in the middle of the room, six filing cabinets aligned the back wall with three on the left and three on the right, the center was a large banner that read, "HM Lake Asylum, Going the extra mile for your care!" finally there was a potted plant on the left hand side of the door.
The desk also held a multiple files, all of which are patients that have been the most difficult to rehabilitate and help. The file that was open was for Patient 2020, "Name: MS , Age: 33, Hair Color: Red, Eye Color: Green (Formally), Blood Type: O+, Date of Birth: March 23rd, 1897, Date of Entry: April 1, 1928, Notes: Never, under any circumstances, is she allowed out of her cell. If there is no other option, give her peeled grapes and place her in a straitjacket. (Edit: Grapes no longer work, stun guns are highly recommended)." another sigh escaped the warden, time to try and get a new psychiatrist, hopefully they stay longer.
