Out of the Loop Started by: Dino on May 10, '18 11:41

Dino leapt up the stairs two at a time. Tonight was not the time to be late. Diogenis didn't call that many family meetings but when he did you made damn sure you were there on time. It was customary to bring something with you and Dino had been tasked with bringing the bread, still warm, fresh and crusty just as the boss liked it.

Entering the HQ he saw Farmerboy16, akomulto and Houdini huddled in deep conversation obviously up to no good judging by the giggling omitting from their direction. Whackjob as usual was trying to seduce Spartacus and failing miserably. Dino waved as he went in search of the boss.

He came across Jack_Diamond in the corridor leading to the kitchen.

"Where's the boss Jack?" He enquired.

Due to his mouth being full he just indicated with his thumb that he was back in the kitchen. Dino patted him on the back as he passed him and made his way into the kitchen to see Menrva draining the pasta whilst Diogenis was tasting the sauce incessantly until it was perfect.

Dino lifted the bag with the bread to show he hadn't forgotten.

"Don't just lift it, get it sliced up. This is ready." He barked looking up at the clock on the wall to make sure Dino wasn't late.

Bread duly carved and in 4 separate bowls he went through into the large dining room to find everyone already seated. Formalities were exchanged as Dino passed the bread down the long mahogany table.

Dino sat inbetween IExoGenesis and Platypus_McGee. Looking down the table he noticed an empty chair? "Who was missing?" he thought to himself. As if reading his mind Scooby-Doo piped up "Raymond's late." Just then Diogenis and Menrva entered laden with 2 huge pots.

"Raymond is running an errand for me, but he should have been here by now." The boss said looking exasperated.

Everybody loved Raymond, he was just so frustrating at times. He was just so laid back and blase about absolutely everything.

"I'll deal with him personally when he gets here." Diogenis said ominously looking to the skies.

Then continued, "Let's eat, drink some wine and then I can tell you all about our upcoming new venture."

Everyone started plating up and the conversation flowed until Raymond burst in apologising for being late but "The job" had taken a bit longer than he had anticipated. He looked pleased with himself and making eye contact with Diogenis he gave "the nod" as if to say "job done."

A tiny glimmer of a smile spread across Diogenis's face as he raised a glass "Salute" to which everyone toasted in unison "Salute."

Just as the conversation started to pick up again they were interrupted by the phone ringing. Diogenis hated being interrupted when he was eating but business was business. He rose from his chair and walked over to the extension on the wall.

"Ciao." he said on answering followed by a long pause as he listened intently his mood visibly changing.

What followed was highly unusual as Diogenis repeatedly apologised and vowed the family of the deceased would be compensated and looked after.

He hung up the phone, visibly enraged as he walked over to where Raymond was now seated. In a flash of temper rarely seen he slapped Raymond hard across the face drawing blood. Everyone froze as they knew better than to speak in this situation.

"I gave you one job, one job to prove yourself and you do this to me." The boss screamed his face turning a very dark red.

"I did as you said boss I swear." Raymond cried, still in shock, holding his hands up to try and fend off any more blows.

Diogenis's right hand clenched into a fist as he smashed it down on the table screaming "You shot the wrong guy!!"

Diogenis face turned to being calm again.

"Anyway, not much damage was done" he said and sat back to his chair.

"I gathered you al lhere today cause I have news.... Good and bad." He stopped and pulled out his reading glasses. Using his tie, he started cleaning them while the group was waiting for what he was about to announce to them. Finally a few minutes later he wore his glasses, got a bunch of papers out of his briefcase and turned to the group.

"You know what this is?" He said, holding the paper high. "This is money we spent this month. We are running short guys. The mayor, police, our hired muscle. These things cost and they cost a lot." He stopped for a moment and placed the papers on the table while removeing his glasses.

"So, this got me into thiking of solutions. Best way to go with this, is to try and sell our product under the Mayor's nose. He is getting enough already. We could use some clean profits. So, I thought long and hard and I only found one way. We will be opening a lemonade stand."

He stopped looking towards everyone's suprised face and smiled. "Yes, you heard me right. A lemonade stand. Only with each lemonade, people will be getting a little something extra to get through their days. An easy way to push drugs without them becoming too sucpisious."

Diogenis stopped and looked towards Jack_Diamond. "Jack, I want you to go around the city and find a nice place where we can set up. It could be outside the college or even at the suburbs where the rich snobs can give us their money."

He picked up his glass and took a sip of wine. Jack was up already and walking outside.

Report Post Tip

Jack witnessed Raymond screwing up once again, but what else could he do but be there for his buddy. He would make sure that Raymond would feel better later on, at the Drinking Loop-Hole..

As soon as the Boss, gave the order to find a nice place for the lemonade stand, Jack had already a very special place in mind.

There was this spot in Michigan Avenue that had plenty of Universities and High schools at 1-mile radius. There was also a big playground nearby. The people on that neighborhood were both rich and kinda dumb. The perfect combination.

He went on to visit the spot, it had been months since the last time he had been there. The foundations for the upcoming business could not be better. Other than the nearby schools, two big clubs had opened up. Probably a way for the spoiled rich kids to have their "fun". He quickly went around the two adjacent blocks to find an empty property that the family could rent, but found none.

"Huh.. As if this will stop me.", he thought whispering to himself. Jack had a guy down at the bureau that owed him one. He had saved his ass two times in the past, he was an addicted gambler before getting a proper job. Giving a permit for a lemonade stand should not be that much of a hassle. He found a telephone pole nearby and went on to call him. After getting through the annoying secretary, he got hold of him.

"Hey Michael. I want a favor. I want to open up a lemonade stand on the street, along Michigan Ave. I know that getting a permit for that is kinda difficult, so I guess you could move the strings a bit for me".
This conversation took a while because the guy at the bureau was dismissive at the beginning, but when Jack reminded him of a few things, he came around.

The family had their spot. It was right across the first club (the one that looked a bit "messier"). Just around the block was a private university where only teenagers with loaded parents could afford.

One last thing was left to do. Spread the news.. Only one guy was capable of that.
Jack made the call...

Dino had stayed behind after the meal to help tidy up but also to keep an eye on Diogenis. He had very rarely see him lose his temper the way he did with Raymond earlier. He was certain had it been anyone else they would definitely have been "clipped" but for some reason Diogenis seemed to have a soft spot for Raymond and gave him opportunity after opportunity to prove himself. To be fair he did try hard and was as loyal as the day is long.

As he walked down the corridor to the kitchen with mountains of dirty plates he couldn't quite overhear what was being said. The conversation stopped for a moment as he entered and saw Menrva trying to snatch the cloth for wiping the dishes dry from Diogenis's grip.

"It's your turn to wash." She playfully scolded Diogenis trying desperately to jump high enough as he went on his tip toes to just keep it out of reach.

Dino smiled and placed the pile of dishes on the side.

"I'll leave you two to it." "Thanks again for the dinner It was good to catch up with the rest of the family and see how they are faring." he said waving to them both and heading back towards the dining room.

He got a sudden fright when the phone started ringing just as he was passing it. Composing himself he picked up to hear Jack_Diamond's voice on the other end.

Dino listened intently to what Jack was relaying to him and congratulated him on doing such a good job in such a short amount of time. He promised to pass on the information to Diogenis and bade him goodnight.

Returning to the kitchen to find that Menrva had finally won the argument and the boss was elbow deep at the sink with soapy suds covering both arms, whilst she stood by chastising him for not rinsing the plates properly, before handing them to her to dry.

"That was Jack_Diamond boss. Sounds like he's found the perfect spot already just by the University." he continued "He's collecting the permit first thing tomorrow morning so we are good to go!"

"Excellent news, let's start squeezing lemons in the morning."  bellowed Diogenis with enthusiasm and flicking soap suds in Menrva's direction causing her to squeal again "Stop it, stop it!"

"See you two in the morning, I'm beat." Dino said as once again he made his way to leave for home.

Night went out and morning came. Diogenis woke up and looked out the window. Sun was shining and there were just some sporadic clouds in the sky. Diogenis got up and looked outside. This was gonna be a great day. Weather was in their side.

"People would kill for a refreshment in such a sunny day"  he thought. He dressed up and went downstairs. Dino was already in the headquorters and had his breakfast ready.

"All ready to your liking, boss" Dino said as he was leaving a mug full of coffee on the table.

"Thanks Dino. Always willing to go the extra mile." Diogenis took a bite off a piece of toast and took a sip of coffee before he light up his cigarette.

He turned back to Dino "Jack, Raymond and a few other guys should already be on the spot setting up the stand. Go and check out is they need anything. Make sure they have enough lemos, water and what not. I will have someone else bring the stuff later on."

Diogenis took another sip of his coffee and shout to Dino as he was leaving "And please make sure Raymond will follow orders this time. Have him mix the sugar or something." Dino noded and left the headquorters.

He took another bite from his toast, a sip from the coffee and turned towards the window again while enjoying his smoke. He could feel things turning around. This job would be enough to turn things back on the right track.

Report Post Tip

The weather was still holding, it was another glorious day. Perfect for selling freshly made lemonade. Dino made his way over to where the guys were setting up and was pleasantly surprised to see what a good job they had done of the stand. It was far bigger than he had anticipated and certainly wasn't going to be missed by any potential customers with the bright red and white striped canopy.

"Good job guys, the stand looks fantastic." He said looking at the stand and nodding his head approvingly.

"Let's make some signs and put them at each crossroads. Nail them to a tree or something." he suggested.

"Already taken care of." replied Jack_Diamond with a smile.

"Excellent, the boss will be ecstatic." Dino replied patting Jack_Diamond on the back.

"Raymond's gone to the grocery store to get supplies, he should have been back by now but I'm sure he will be here shortly." Jack mentioned.

IExoGenesis proudly lifted to show everyone the sign he had been making for the front of the stall. "Home-Made Lemonade 50 cents." Everyone nodded their approval.

Just then Raymond_Reddington came into view struggling down the street with two large carrier bags. As he made it to the stand he almost dropped one of the bags, which caused everyone to lunge forward to save the contents. Catastrophe averted they emptied the contents onto the stand. Lemons, Sugar, Water and plastic cups in various sizes.

"Good job Raymond now we can get started." Said Jack, pleased his friend had not let the side down.

Dino saw the relief on Raymond's face that he had finally come through. Pulling Jack to one side whilst Raymond took the plaudits from IExoGenesis and Icy he enquired. "We may have a slight problem Jack."

Jack looked puzzled as he checked again at what Raymond had brought back from the store.

"I think we're good, Raymond got everything." he replied mentally ticking of the checklist in his head.

"Yes you have the ingredients." Dino responded before continuing "But what are you going to mix it all in?" replied Dino raising an eyebrow.

Report Post Tip

After doing all that hard work, Dino was right about inquiring on how they were planning to mix the lemonade. He asked Raymond to bring their own mixer from their bar, the "Drinking Loop-Hole". Raymond rushed off to get the mixer, so they can start selling.

The kiosk was looking truly "innocent", but the word was already spreading about the "bonus" commodities. Dino told some of his friends and his friends told to some of their friends. It did not take long to land the foundation for a successful business. Jack would take the first shift. It was opening time, just a bit after 12:30 pm.

While waiting for Raymond to come back, a little girl gets in front of Jack. She looked really frustrated.

"How dare you opening a lemonade stand in our area Mister?", the little girl said while maintaining an angry posture and left Jack speechless for a few seconds.

"Ehmm, what do you mean my lady? I looked around those blocks yesterday, I didn't see any <rival> businesses.", Jack said after controlling himself not to laugh. That would be really disrespectful.

"We are selling lemonades for the past month. We open up after school and we want to gather enough money for a school trip to New York! We have gathered 500$ and we need another 4.500$ for the whole class!", the little girl explained to Jack while trying to maintaining a mean look.

"Is that so? Well excuse me young Miss! I didn't know there was a competitor in this area! I'll tell you what we'll do though.. If you manage to sell more lemonades than us, then I, personally, will cover the rest of the amount you're all currently lacking! What do you think?" Jack said while smiling. He would give the money they were missing anyway, he just wanted to provide some incentive to those young souls.

"You better hold up to your words Mister!", She said and left in a rush, probably to set up the business and try to win the family on the lemonade business.

"Did you listen to her Dino? You could use some of her audacity!", Jack yelled at Dino and then both of them bursted into laughter.

Diogenis was about to visit the business any time now as well.

Report Post Tip

Diogenis always found impressive the fact that Menrva knew so much about the eastern cultures. She was always found with a history book in her hands. In situations like these were where that knowledge truly shined.

"I should start reading too" he thought as Menrva was finishing the deal with some Chinese fellas and she was moving towards him. He always considered Chinese heroin as a great product to sell. "They brought it over here, they should know what is best" he used to say in conversations around the subject.

"Everything went fine?" Diogenis asked as Menrva was opening the car's trunk and placing the packets inside.

"Yes, everything went as smooth as always." They got in the car and Diogenis started driving.

"Drop me off at the headquarters before you meet the guys. I have to do the books." Menrva said and Diogenis gave her a nod in agreement.

"The things we do for money" he thought. "When did I became a cab driver?" and before his thoughts were finished, he reached the spot where the kiosk was. He could see Dino and Jack over there and to his surprise they were having a chat with a little girl.

He approached them "I see we are ready to open guys. Good job. What was all that about with the girl over there?"

"It seems there are some kids in the neighbourhood running a lemonade stand themselves" Jack replied and conitnued "We kinda made a deal boss. Whoever outsells the other has to leave the spot."

Diogenis could feel the adrenaline rushing through his veins. This was a challenge. They had to win this one and not just for the money. Things were now more interesting. It was the family's name on the line.

After remaining silent for a few solid minutes, he turned towards Jack and Dino "Then we have a challenge to win" he said with clear excitement in his voice.

"Jack hold the fort here and be more charming than you have ever been in your life." He said to Jack as he grabbed his shoulder for encouragement and then he turned to Dino.

"Dino, come with me. I have the stuff in the trunk. I will go and get us some uniforms made. The kiosk need to appear better now that the stakes are so high."

Diogenis and Dino started walking towards the car and Diogenis was starting to think of colour choices for the uniforms. He could see the first customers arriving at the kiosk as he was handing over the packets to Dino.

Report Post Tip

Dino walked to the bosses car to retrieve "the goods."

Glancing over his shoulder to make sure no law enforcement or nosey neighbours were observing he opened the bag and nodded his approval before removing the holdall from Diogenis's trunk. Removing a piece of paper from his jacket he walked back over to Jack_Diamond.

"This is your price-list Jack. You have Coke, heroin, barbs and some weed to start off with." he said passing the paper and the holdall to him.

Jack nodded and placed the bag under the stand.

" You don't need me to explain to you how important it is that we beat the other lemonade stand being run by those kids. We will be the laughing stock of not only Chicago but of the whole country if we don't. So make sure we win by fair or foul means." He said sternly.

"I've got some errands to run. Make sure all the guys pull their weight and understand how important this is not only for our reputation but the bosses." Said Dino.

Some college kids were approaching the stand so Dino stepped to the side to let Jack work his magic. Then he noticed they were all carrying large paper cups already.

"Hey guys what you got there?" Dino enquired.

The cocky one of the group obviously not realising who he was messing with sarcastically replied "Lemonade duhhh!"

Keeping his composure Dino continued by placing his hands on his hips revealing his gun with a rye smile. "No shit! Where did you get that from?"

Realising he was out of his depth the student shall we say became more helpful and forthcoming with his answers. "Top of the street." he replied sheepishly.

Dino looked at Jack and then back at the kid. "That doesn't make sense kid the only other lemonade stand is round the corner." replied Dino.

"Yeah until today, now they've opened another one just up there." He said pointing back in the direction they had come from.

Anger flooded through Dino's body as he suddenly realised they had been outflanked by 4th graders! So they were cornering the market in both directions and they were stuck in the middle... Trying desperately to save face and the situation at hand Dino leant into where they were standing and said menacingly.

"If I ever see you or any of your college friends walk past this stand with a drink that wasn't purchased here I will personally castrate you. GOT IT!"

"Yyyeesss Sir!" They blubbered before slinking on their way.

Dino turned to Jack. "Get Raymond and some of the others to go to that new stand and scare them off NOW!"

Report Post Tip

Jack watched Dino getting worked up with the college kids and was kinda having fun with it. Fun ended when Dino asked him to take care of the situation.

"Raymoooond.. Equip yourself. We have an errand to do" , Jack yelled to Raymond.

"For real now Dino.. Are we supposed to bully those kids? Won't that affect us in a negative way?", Jack asked Dino.

"I didn't tell you to remove 2 or 3 of their fingers. I just said that you should 'force' them play fair. That's all", Dino replied.

Jack nodded affirmatively, took Raymond with him and went over to the shop that the college kids had bought their lemonade.
As they approached the kiosk, Jack recognized the little girl from before. Jack was kind of surprised and the look on his face betrayed that feeling.

"You think that we'd just let you win with that fancy kiosk of yours?", the little girl said without holding back the grin on her face.

"YOU LITTLE BRAT", Raymond yelled as soon as the girl finished her sentence.
"You will shut this kiosk down or I'll call the IRS on you!", Raymond threatened her.

"Who is that IRS?", the girl replied in an angry manner. Then out of the blue, she kicked Raymond on the groin.
"You little piece of shiiiiit", Raymond said in a squeaky voice. Probably because his 'sensitive' assets were also squeezed.

Jack couldn't help himself and cracked a smile.

"No need to resort to violence lil' girl.. How about I give you 500 bucks to call it a day and never set up here again? What do you think?", Jack asked the little girl. 500 dollars are almost a single drug deal for the family, so it would be a win-win situation.

The little girl grinned. "500 bucks? What do you think I am? A sucker? If we're to close, we require at least 1.000 bucks".

Jack did not give it much thought. He pulled out a stack of 20's, counted them and gave the little girl the money.

"Now pack it up and leave. Play fair as I said. Otherwise we'll have problems", Jack said to the girl.

"Raymond, let's hit the road", he continued. Raymond was still walking kinda funny, obviously because he was still in pain. Dino and Diogenis could not help but notice it when they arrived back at their kiosk.

Report Post Tip

Diogenis was thinking of plans and tricks that would give them the edge in the lemonade war that was going on, while waiting for the workers from the tailor's shop to get him the aprons and the hats with their logo sewed on them.

Didn't take too long for them to finish. Aprons had the letters written in a slight yellow-green colour to remind of lemons and the hats had the logo in red in order to stand out. He got them, thanked the tailor for his fast work in such a short notice and headed back to the car and then the kiosk.

Upons arriving to the spot he noticed only Dino was standing there. "What the hell happened again" he thought as he was walking towards the kiosk.

"Dino, what happened here? Where is Jack and Raymond?"

Dino was explainign the situation when they spotted Jack and Raymond walking back towards them with Raymond clearly having some troubles.

"What happened guys? All taken care of?" Diogenis asked Jack.

"Yes boss, I took care of it. They cost me a few bucks but they should back off for good now. You know how I am. When I take a job, I deliver" Jack said with confidence clearly shown in his words.

"Nice work guys. Check out what I brought for us. Aprons and hats with our logo on them. Now we look fucking professional." Diogenis said as he was handed out them to jack Raymond and Dino.

The day went by, peacefully. People were coming around to get a drink. Not many at first but when word went around about the special treats that were served in the stand, the group was selling faster than they were making it. Things got so hectic at some point that Raymond had to squeeze lemons with both hands to keep up with the pace of cups sold. At the end of the day, all 4 of them were tired and exhausted but the money they made were certainly making up for it.

"OK guys. We are done for the day. Lets put up the closed sign and head out. I would offer a drink but I won't lie, I am beaten and I need to lie down."

The group split for the day but they knew in their minds that tomorrow would be as busy as this one was.

Report Post Tip

He was awoken suddenly by the shrill unrelenting sound of his alarm clock. He had placed it out of reach on purpose to make sure he got up to switch it off. It was still dark but the luminous glow of the hands showed him it was 6:00 am. Cursing under his breath he padded into the bathroom to get showered.

Now that he felt better and set about getting dressed. His mood soon changed when he realised he would have to wear the ridiculous apron that Diogenis had ordered again. Dino took pride in his appearance and his handmade silk suits were the envy of most. He decided to fold the apron and cap and stick it in his jacket pocket and winced in pain as the finger he had cut whilst slicing lemons the day before snagged on the corner.

It started to bleed again like it had the day before when Dino had got blood all over the stand. He rushed to the sink and ran it under some cold water before reaching into the bathroom cabinet for a bandage.

Now running late he made his way to the stand. It was another glorious day so business should be brisk. As he reached the corner of their street he noticed the other stand was back with the snotty little girl. She sneered as Dino approached his blood now boiling.

"What are you still doing here? We paid you off yesterday remember?" he bellowed.

The young girl unfazed with hands on her hips replied "That was just for yesterday. If you want us to move again that will be another $1000!"

Dino's jaw almost hit the floor. "WHAT!" he screamed "You better be gone by the time me and my men get back here. OR ELSE!"

He turned and stomped off in the direction of their stand. Jack needed to get this sorted and fast.

Reaching the stand he saw Jack, Raymond and Icy preparing the lemonade. Luckily Diogenis wasn't there yet so maybe they could get this problem sorted before he arrived. No point in aggravating the old man.

Pulling Jack to one side he explained what had happened. Jack's face went puce in anger as Dino went into more detail and gave the instructions on how to handle this.

Report Post Tip

Upon hearing the news, Jack got so worked up he almost fainted. After a few moments, he cooled up and thought it through.

"We're not going to smash their counter, Dino", Jack said in a calm manner.
"I know exactly how to go about this", he continued.

Jack went on and called a friend that was on the ice-cream business.

"Hey bud, I need a favor that will make you some extra bucks on the process. I want you to send your ice-cream van and have the prices extra low on the street close to our kiosk. We'll cover the missing pennies", Jack said and proceeded on giving him exact directions.

It was not more than an hour later that the ice-cream van showed itself. Jack approached the driver and told him to place the van and sell ice-creams a bit further than the kid's kiosk. He hoped would distract them for enough time. He asked him to set the price at 0.15$ for each scoop, instead of 1$ as he used to.

The driver nodded to show that he understood and made his way. Jack grabbed Raymond and cautiously approached the kid's kiosk, without the kids realizing their presence.

The van went on and stopped close enough for the kids to see it, but far enough to set Jack's plan in motion. When the van driver began advertising his ultra low prices per scoop, the kids all left the kiosk as if they were zombies. The kiosk was now unattended.

"Quick Raymond, let's grab the table", Jack said and approached the table.
In a swift fashion, they put everything the kids had for sale on the table and carried over in the nearby river. At that point the nosy little girl was coming back while holding a cone with 2 scoops and saw them while carrying the table with everything they had!

"You think you can mess with us you little prick?", Raymond said with a grin on his face. He really wanted to take his revenge for the incident the other day.

They waited on purpose for the little girl to come closer and as soon as she was close enough, they tossed everything into the river!

"Hmph" was the only reaction from the little girl who ran back over to her friends.

"Hehehehehe.. That will show them not to mess with us" said Raymond without holding back on his laughter.
"Let's go grab a bite before heading back. All this work got my stomach to complain", Jack replied.

Raymond nodded and they went on a bakery nearby to have a bite. After 15-20 minutes they headed back.

Report Post Tip

Diogenis was just parking nearby the kiosk's spot when to his surprise he saw another lemonade stand sitting right next to theirs. A sign was clearly saying that kids are collecting moeny to go on a trip.

He could spot Jack and Raymond having a heated argument with a little girl. Things were looking bad as Jack was holding back Raymond who was clearly trying to do some agressive motions.

Quicly he got off his car and started walking towards them.

"What happened here? I thought you handled this." He said towards Jack and Raymond.

"We did boss but they appear to be determined to collect their money. We trashed their stand but they built it back up while we went for a bite and they did it RIGHT NEXT TO OURS" Raymond's voice went high saying the last part while he was watching towards the little girl.

Diogenis stopped and looked towards the girl. She had an annoying smirk on her full of ice cream face. He saw that arrogance before in his childhood years.

He never told the story to anyone but it was a lemonade stand that put him in this line of business. Back then when he proudly opened one just in front of his house while little Timmie opened his right across the street. He lost that battle back then and it was happening all over again. He could feel his dream of having a lemonade stand dissappear in front of his eyes.

But no! He couldn't allow this to happen again. He had to take matters at hand, no matter the cost. He summoned all his strength, swallowed his pride and moved towards the girl.

"Lets get this over with. How much do you need to make your trip happen and go out of this place?"

The girl was still licking her ice cream when she turned towards Diogenis "Well, we need five thousand dollars" She said and took another lick.

"But...since you trashed our stand, I will have to ask for five hundrend more so we can have all the candies we want in New York. Oh and I want him to apologize to me" She said pointing her finger towards Raymond.

Diogenis stand for a minute. He looked around and saw cops in the area. There was only one logical solution to this. He had to pay.

He reached in his pocket and got a roll of hundrends out and started counting. When he was done, he turned towards Raymond and made him a motion to him to join them.

"Now it's all over. We can all be friends again" He said while handing the money to the girl. "Raymond, you should apologize to the young lady and let the few past days go."

Raymond looked towards Diogenis and then back at the girl who was still enjoying her ice cream with a smile in her face.

"Fine" Raymond said after a few seconds of thinking. "I apologize for the troubles we caused you the past few days" he said and immediately turned around and left, clearly unhappy.

Diogenis and the girl shook hands and the kids started disassembling their stand while he walked towards his.

"Ok guys, we are done here. With cops around and the kids gone, I will bring some workers to run the stand so we can focus on some other business ideas I have in mind."

Report Post Tip

Farmerboy16 went out to get a lemonade while talking to Diogenis about what other business Ideas he has up his sleeve and hopes the lemonade stand is successful and if there is anything I could help with.
