As she moved herself and her chair closer towards the desk, she picked up her pen and looked the financial journals again.  She spoke without looking at him, "Oh and Consigliere, don't drop any bodies or torture anyone to get it done."

Lucky nods to Marie and her last order. He knew that was implied but he also knew that after everything she found out today she had to make sure he knew what she wanted. He did not blame her. Lucky got up and left her office heading over to Kathleen's office before opening the door. 

"I need a drinking partner. Meet me at my bar if you want the job," he says before heading off. 

Katy stands up and walks around her desk, watching Salvatore disappear out the door.  Behind her Ignazio made a whistle noise that was surely an indication that he figured things were tense with Marie and Lucky again.  Smoothing out her dress she glanced back to Ignazio, "Head back to the estate and pack an overnight bag for yourself and me.  Call your wife... let her know you're not going to be back til morning."

"Damn."  He said dejectedly.  

"What?"

"Meatloaf night.  I hate missing meatloaf night."

"You'll live... have her pack some for you if you want."

"At least this time I won't be sleeping in a damn booth." He chuckled.

"Get going.  I'm gonna check with Marie and make sure she's okay and doesn't need me to do anything."

"Good luck with that."  Ignazio remarked standing up.

"What?"

"You really think that going in there after your lover, her EX-LOVER just left in a huff is a good plan?"

"Good plan or not, I'm her right hand..."  Katy shrugged.  "I'm not going to hide from my Don when she might need me."  Katy walked across the hall and knocked gently on Marie's door.  "Marie?"  She asked peaking her head inside.  "Everything okay?"  Behind her she could hear Ignazio leaving.

Marie looked up from the books to see Kathleen.  She smiled and stood, "Yes come on in.  I need to talk with you about something."  She motioned to a chair on the other side of her desk.  Can I get you something to drink?"

"Nothing for me, thanks."  She said as she walked in and shut the door behind her.  Without hesitation she made her way to the chair Marie indicated and took a seat.  "So... I'm all ears.  What's up?" She said crossing one leg over another. 

Marie sat back down.  "Lucky just informed me about a threat against him that relates to his time spent in Sicily.  He has taken steps to ensure his safety in the short-term.  Given that he potentially had someone watching his bar, you may be in danger, as well.  I want to put extra men on you for your safety."

Marie leaned back.  "To bring you up to speed on the matter.  My father is a Don in Sicily and he is involved in a blood feud with the Pisa family.  While Lucky was there he did some things that has incurred the wrath of Don Pisa.  Now Don Pisa is trying to kill Lucky, and if he thinks you are someone whom Lucky cares for he may try to hurt Lucky by hurting you.  So far we have been reacting to their attacks.  I want that to change that and get ahead of them.  We need to get all our family's various contacts working actively on the streets to see what intel we can gather on any Pisa activity in the district."

Katy listens carefully and nods as if she understands and accepts her Don's decision on these matters.  "I know I haven't had a lot of occasion to speak to you about my family - beyond the fact that Mother once served as a Right Hand to a Godfather Chairman of Chicago - and was a Don in her own right."  

She sits forward on her chair a touch as she carefully broaches the subject of Sicily, "However, my Father's family might be of some help to us in these affairs.  You see, the DiCaprio name carries a bit of weight in the old country.  It's entirely possible that a few words into the right ears from some of my allies in Sicily could perhaps ease tensions.  If you like, I can speak to my family - see what information or advice they can give and what aid, if any, they might be able to offer us."

"In the meantime, of course, I will accept the extra protection - you're very kind to offer it.  Would you like me to have our Caporegime and Soldato doing anything in specific or just keep an eye and ear out for Pisa's movements?"

"Right now we are limited in our options on what we can do until we get some intel so for now just keep our eyes and ears open.  As for the help in Sicily I would appreciate any help that I can get.  For the most part I am estranged from my parents so what I know is what Lucky has told me.  Apparently my father is winning the blood feud and Don Pisa has turned what limited resources he has left to go after Lucky."

Heading back to HQ, I am sliding by the Don Marie, the CL's office, and over hear something about eyes. I knocked on her door....I was gonna offer  up my peepers in any capacity she would need, if she would need me to. I had not been here long it seemed like, but I do ike to support the crew I am in. It is part of being in a crew. I had hoped I wasn't interrupting anything, but would make it quick too.

I opened the door, and said "Excuse the interruption, everyone.. I just was overhearing something about eyes open, and wanted you to know if I can be of service, let me know. ( I smiled). As you know, I really have eyes of precision, and I offer them to you for the crew's use. That is all I wanted to say, i am hoping to not have interrupted anything, and now if it is okay, I wil leave you guys to continue, and to hopefully pardon, my intrusion on the matter at hand." 

Marie smiled at MJ's offer of assistance.  "We will definitely be needing your gift in the days to come.  If you happen to see anything on the streets that would give us some information on the Pisa's family that would be very useful."   Looking back to her Right Hand Man she asked, "Do you have any other questions or concerns?"
